Chapter five

It was a period of twilight, Titi Jimi's older sister was preparing supper.

Jimi was going through his assignment that will be submitted on Monday morning. Kimi, the housemaid rushed into Jimi's room in a panic. "what's the matter with you, where are your manners?

"am sorry Jimi but Timi is back ."

Timi was Jimi's stepbrother who had been a tone in the flesh to the family, he had been thrown out of several secondary schools and expired for University. He was thrown out of the house after he stole their father's gold, Mr. Adebayo Ajayi has given an order that he shouldn't be seen any way around the house.

On hearing what Kimi said Jimi jumped to his feet.

"Where is he?

I don't know but it seems like he was heading towards Daddy's room".

Jimi storms out of his room, luckily he meets Timi about leaving the house. Timi was holding a laptop bag.

"Why are you leaving in a hurry? Jimi asked Timi who was still wondering how he was caught.

"I wanted to leave before that old man comes back"

" you know he does not want you, he can't raise animals you stole his gold only to buy hard drugs with it right, since you have become a drug addict you are not welcome here". Timi was about to leave when Jimi held his hand

"What's in your bag?

"Bros use your head oh! What's all this now, If I fis your head go delete "

"Shebe my head go delete? No wahala but I must see your bag " Jimi immediately got ready to fight. Timi knew he couldn't fight Jimi who was quite stronger than he was. Jimi always beat up Timi like a child despite being younger than him.

"Shayo! Shayo! See the bag If you wanna eat it go ahead and eat it". With that Timi heads towards the gate " See you I swear I will position you very soon" he slapped the gate behind him as he stormed into the street.

Jimi opens the bag only to find Titi's MacBook and some forty thousand naira which Timi has collected from their father's room. Jimi was baffled, their father's room had been locked how did Timi get the key?
