Chapter four

It was an awkward situation, I never thought I would end up feeling this way. I have not been myself ever since I confessed my feelings to Jimi. I barely eat and am always sleepless, At school, I kept on avoiding him.

Everyone got to notice my sudden change of attitude especially my dad who was more worried than ever

"Kira, are you alright? He asked me several times but all I could answer was "am fine Dad".

I was sitting on a rocky chair right in my room when I heard a knock on my door "Who is that? "It's me, Vicky " a tiny voice answered.

Vicky is Mom's handmaid who has been with us for five years now.

"Come in, any problem?

"Miss Kira your friend is here to see you"

"Ib? That's the shorter form I call Ibifuro "Let her in".

Ibifura sat on my bed, I was bewildered at first I wondered why she had come. She was supposed to be at school.

"Babe this one you no go school today waiting sub?

" am supposed to ask you what's going on k, You have been missing classes am worried"

"am fine"

"You are not if you don't want to tell me no wahala but just come to school I do like it as you day miss class".

I picked up my pen and began to write in my diary immediately after Ibifuro left.

Dear Diary

How is it that I feel this way, I can't help it. I can not still believe I said all that to him. But why didn't he say yes instead of a kiss? Why was he reminding me that he was still a virgin it was all my fault I foolishly listened to Ib and ended up shooting it in the wrong way.

Am sorry Jimi but I have to pretend it never happens that's the only way I can solve this mess.

I dropped my pen on the table as I lay on my bed my face facing the big mirror in my room. I am determined to believe that it was a mistake.
