JAGI PART 2

Everybody was taken aback completely after hearing what Kay said. But suddenly, we heard someone laughing so loudly, when we turned around to see who was laughing, it was Joo Ah.

"What's so funny?"

I asked and she left Jagi to come close to me.

"Are you kidding me? Shin Suri, don't tell me you actually believe this. I mean, Jagi is an animal for goodness sake!"

"We know that Joo Ah, we are not blind. But now that we know what's wrong with her, we might be able to treat her properly".

Kay came close and placed his hand on her shoulder to try to comfort her.

"We'll need to take her to the lab for some test and then we can....."

"NO!! I'll never let you take her. She's not some lab rat".

Kay moved back in fright.

She said and immediately took Jagi upstairs. Her reaction was rather surprising but I could understand her in a way. She was scared that Jagi would be used for experiments. I wanted to go upstairs to talk to her but Kay held my hand so I turned back to look at him.

"I'll go".

I had no idea why he wanted to be the one who goes but I guess it was better. Besides, I did want to argue with Joo Ah right now.

When Joo Ah and Jagi got into the room, Jagi was still confused at why Joo Ah got so furious.

"What was the outburst for? They are only trying to help me you know".

Joo Ah didn't say anything instead, she just went to her bed and crashed.

"Why did she bring me along if she wasn't going to talk to me?"

Jagi said in a low voice.

'Knock knock knock'.

There was no response but he kept knocking. After a while, Joo Ah was feeling irritated by the continuous knocking so she went to the door to check who it was.

"WHAT!?"

"Wow, wow, wow, easy tigress".

"I'm not in the mood to talk right now, please leave".

She said and was about to shut the door when he placed his hand to stop it from closing.

"Wait! Just hear me out".

After saying this, he pushed the door and forced himself into her room.

"What do you think you are doing?"

"I'm not going to hurt your pet. To be honest, I am actually really scared of that pet of yours so there is no way in hell that I would ever think of hurting her because I'm scared to death for my life".

"What's your point?"

"What I'm trying to say is, I just want to help. Um, I really need you to trust me on this and I promise I'm going to do everything in my power to make sure that she is safe. To be honest, I was worried and surprised when I discovered she had a human system but that just means we can treat her as a human and try to improve her body system".

Joo Ah didn't know when but suddenly, tears began falling from her eyes. It was almost as though it was waiting for the perfect time to come out.

"I can't I can't let her go. I'm scared something might go wrong I don't want to lose her".

"I totally understand but I promise you that she will be fine. You just have to trust me on this and let me do my job".

After what felt like forever, Kay finally came downstairs and informed us that he would be taking Jagi and Joo Ah away for a while.

"Wait what? Why do you have to take them away? Can't you treat her here?"

"No, I most definitely can not. I need to take her to the lab and get some work done. Which is something I can most definitely not do here. Don't worry, it's my hospital. She'll be fine".

After a few more conversations, we decided that they would leave first thing tomorrow morning. But when we were making a final decision, Jagi went towards Yu Lei and began rubbing her head again his tigh.

Everybody was taken aback but Joo Ah and I were more embarrassed than surprised. We already knew that she liked Yu Lei but we never expected she would make it so obvious.

"Well, I think she likes you. Come visit her some time".

Yu Lei didn't say anything instead, he moved further away from her making it look like he didn't really care what she felt.

The men went into Lu Jinho's study and after a while, Kay decided he wanted to leave and told Lu Jinho that he would bring a van to escort both Joo Ah and Jagi tomorrow.

After he left, it was late so everyone left to rest for the day. Jagi on the other hand wasn't planning to rest at all and it seems she had other plans for someone else.

When Yu Lei went into his room, he took off his shirt as usual because he enjoyed sleeping without it on. He went to the bathroom to wash his face and then came to the bed to rest a little but when he got to the bed, he saw Jagi standing by the other side like a ghost.

The all-so-indifferent Yu Lei was so scared he screamed in shock. After calming down and realizing that it was just Jagi, he got so angry he wanted to kill the thing.

"Do you plan on killing me before you leave? Why are you in my room? Please leave".

Jagi didn't move an inch.

"You know what? I'm glad you are leaving tomorrow. That way, I get to stay away from you for a very long time. Just leave already".

He said this and laid on the bed trying to ignore her existence but also feeling bad for what he just said to her.

'Why do I feel bad whenever I say something like that to her? She's a fucking animal for goodness sake. She doesn't even understand me so why?'

"Do you really mean what you just said?"
