It was almost as though I was hearing things that were not real. The weirdest part of it was that I actually felt my heart skip a beat. I wanted to free myself from his grip but he didn't budge and instead, he just pulled me closer as if we weren't close enough yet.

"You don't have to say anything, just stay like this for a while".

I obeyed and stopped resisting and as though my body had finally given into the stress I was feeling, I dozed off.

The next morning when I woke up, my face was buried inside the chest of a particular someone.

'Wahh, he feels so warm, I can stay here forever. Wait what? There you go again Shin Suri, go ahead and behave like a girl who just started puberty'.

I wanted to try to get out of his grip when I felt his large arms holding my waist even closer.

'Just great, this early in the morning and I already feel this guy is gonna make me do something crazy'.

"Good morning".

I literally felt my heart go right into my mouth. It was as though he was out to give me a heart attack. His voice was so husky it was obvious he was still sleepy.

'Oh good God, if I don't leave this place soon, I might die'.

"Did you sleep well?".

'Please stop talking Lu Jinho'.

It was as though he heard what I said because he stood up from the bed and I thought I heard him put on his slippers. In my mind, I heaved a sigh of relief but I felt something warm on my forehead and I didn't know when I opened my eyes.

"I knew you were awake".

He said with his face so close to mine, I instinctively closed my eyes.

"Are you going to stay in my room till I'm done taking a shower or...."

I didn't let him complete the sentence. I stood up and rushed out of his room while slamming the door in the process.

"Wahh, he is crazy. Too crazy to be around".

I said and rushed to my room like someone who was almost caught stealing.

After Shin Suri left the room, Lu Jinho kept smiling like a crazy person. It's been a very long time since he felt this way. It was almost as if he was happy. It was weird but he liked it.

Lu Jinho left for work pretty fast so he wasn't able to see Shin Suri before leaving.

"Well, well, if it isn't my two favorite friends that are so hard to meet".

Kay had been waiting for Lu Jinho and Yu Lei for almost thirty minutes. It's been a while since he saw them and he had something important to say so he decided to come over to the office but when he arrived, he heard that they were out on a meeting so he decided to wait.

"I can tell you have nothing else to do with your time".

Lu Jinho said and went to sit on his chair leaving the excited Kay standing with his hands in the air.

"I will be going back home first".

Yu Lei said and left while Lu Jinho simply nodded.

"Huh? Hey Lu Jinho, what's wrong with him? He completely ignored me".

Lu Jinho didn't reply besides, he has been avoiding him as well. He didn't say much to him since they left the house and only spoke when necessary. He knew that was how Yu Lei behaved whenever he was thinking about something and he has also learned to not ask him anything when he is in that state.

"Fine don't tell me. Anyways, I'm coming with you to your place so when are you going home for the day?".

Lu Jinho looked away from the documents in his hand and looked at him with his brow raised like he was asking what he meant by that.

"Don't worry, I don't love you that much. I need to talk to Joo Ah about her tiger. My vet friend who treated her the last time is out of the country but he told me something I really need to tell them in person and you know how scared I am of animals".

"What do you want to tell them?"

"Well you know, doctor-patient confidentiality".

Lu Jinho looked at him and he moved back in fright. It was as though he would kill him if he didn't speak.

"Fine, let's go home. I'll tell you when we get there".

When Yu Lei got to the front of his room, he saw Jagi lying down in front of his door. He went towards her and opened the door.

"Go away".

He said and slammed the door. But just when he thought he was finally alone, he began taking off his shirt and his amazingly carved abs came into view.

He turned around only to see the tiger inside his room. He was startled so he moved back a bit but then, he came back to his senses.

"What do you think you are doing? Get out!".

Jagi didn't budge instead, she went to the floor close to his bed and laid down.

"Uhhh what was I expecting? It's an animal of course it doesn't understand what I'm saying".

He went towards the door and opened it for her indicating that he wanted her gone but she didn't move at all.

He sighed in frustration, went close to her, and bent to her level.

"I'm really trying to not get attached to you. You're a cute animal and all but I don't trust you so leave please".

And like she heard what he said, she looked devastated and walked out.

A few hours later, Lu Jinho agreed to go home with the troublemaker because he kept disturbing his work.

When they got home, they heard sounds coming from the garden so they went to check.

Shin Suri, Joo Ah, Jagi and Kali were there having fun. When they noticed the presence of both men, they stopped chatting and kept looking at them.

Lu Jinho had his and eyes on Shin Suri but he wasn't smiling.

"I need to see all of you in the living room now".

After saying this, he walked away with Kay behind him and everyone followed suit.

"What is this about?"

Shin Suri asked as soon as everyone was present in the living room even Yu Lei was there.

"Kay has something to say about Jagi's condition".

Joo Ah looked scared it was like she was expecting a report but was scared of what it would say. They were all hoping Jagi wasn't terminally ill. They kept looking at Kay while waiting for him to speak.

"Okay everyone, it's pretty shocking but all evidence points it out to be true".

"What is true Kay?"

Shin Suri asked and Kay sighed and continued.

"You know the last test proved Jagi's body system was too weak for her body right?"

Shin Suri and Joo Ah nodded at the same time.

"Well.... it's because her system is that of a human".
