Dead or Alive

After Shin Suri had been hit with the iron on her head, she passed out and Kim Yuri carried her on her back. The three women left the torture room and Ju Min already had a vehicle waiting for her just outside the building. It appears there were a few traitors in the Lu mansion.

First, the old maid, Kim Yuri, and Li Wei who was one of Lu Jinho most trusted guards. He was the one who got the vehicle ready with the old woman inside and in no time, they drove off leaving Kim Yuri behind because of her daughter.

When they got to the gate, only Li Wei could be seen while the other women hid properly inside the vehicle.

"I'm running an early errand for the boss, I'll be back soon".

The guards at the gate believed him because, why not. He went everywhere with the boss so they didn't have any reason to doubt him. As soon as they got out of the mansion, the alarm suddenly rang and someone who hadn't been able to sleep throughout the night immediately stood up and walked out of the room in hurried steps that still looked very detailed.

Just then, he met two other guards of his whom he really trusted. One of them was Yu Lei who was his personal advisor and close friend from the college. On the other hand, was Yu Han, he was a very free-spirited man who talks a lot but didn't really have that friend like relationship with his boss it was simply business. Even though he was a very nice person, there was no one asides from Lu Jinho who could actually beat him when it came to fighting. He was a very strong man.

"The noise came from the torture house, it is obvious she has been able to escape". It was Yu Lei who spoke.

"Make sure you don't loose them. Get all the vehicles and go after them right now".

The men were pretty fast as they gathered other guards and left in no time. On the road, Li Wei and Ji Min thought they had already escaped from Lu Jinho and his men so they were pretty much at ease till they saw lines of cars coming after them. Li Wei was a military trained personnel, so he was smart and fast when it came to things like this.

As soon as he saw the cars, he brought his car to its highest speed and zoomed off. Lu Jinho's men kept following them but to their greatest surprise, Li Wei suddenly drove into the closest water body and dived into it with the vehicle.

Lu Jinho came out of his car and went towards the water and so did his men but when they got there, there was no trace of the chased vehicle at all.

"Find them, take as many men and search every nuke of this water I want to see everyone that was in that vehicle dead or alive".

"Yes, boss," Yu Lei said and left to assemble the men who would go into the water.

"Those of you I have mentioned will come with me. Yu Han, you will go with these two and try to track down the vehicle GPS. Let's meet when we have any information, go go go".

In no time, everyone was on their way to get things done.

"Yu Lei, we searched all over and it's been six days already no sign of them".

Just then, Yu Han came over to the bridge where the two men were talking.

"We found the car". Yu Lei immediately gave all of his attention to him but what he heard next was a total disappointment.

"It's still inside the water, apparently they already had it planned out and escaped through a submarine".

Yu Lei sighed in frustration apparently there was nothing they could do at this point and their boss was losing it because he already found out they took Shin Suri.

On getting back to the Lu's mansion, Yu Lei and Yu Han went upstairs to see Lu Jinho in his study and tell him what they discovered. They kept knocking for about two minutes but when he wouldn't answer, they decided to go in and check if he was there.

On getting to his desk, they saw a note on his desk saying.

"I got a call saying they found Shin Suri's body, I'm going there to retrieve it. Though I feel it is a way to lure me in, I need to take the bait. I couldn't call because it looks like there is still a traitor amongst you. Call the men underground and come to wooden lake, that's where I'm going".

Meanwhile, somewhere inside wooden lake, in a three story building, in the basement, there was a cell like room where Shin Suri was kept. She has been trying everything in her power to escape. She had been trying for the past five days since she woke up, but anytime she was caught, she would be seriously dealt with. It got worse and now she could barely move.

Or so they thought. Shin Suri wasn't as strong as Li Meilin but, she was still very strong coupled with the fact that the soul inside was now Li Meilin, she would never let those scumbags get away with what they did to her.

In the cell, there were iron bars on the top so every morning when she wakes up, she trains herself, training both her arm and leg muscles. In no time, she was already getting stronger It was true that she couldn't walk properly because of all the beatings but it was also true that she still had her hands and she didn't give her legs any break either. While exercising, she began talking to herself about how she would escape.

'If my hunch is correct, it's obvious they don't want me dead yet, if they did, they would have killed me already. Even at that, I don't know when they would have no need for me again. No matter what it is, I must leave this place today'.

"Why don't you just let us kill her? She is going to be a hindrance you know that right"?

Li Wei was talking to Ji Min and wondering why she hasn't killed Shin Suri yet.

"Oh calm your high horse boy, she is a reliable asset. It will be easier to get Lu Jinho through her besides, she is a complete weakling so forget about her".

She went to the window and looked outside intensely.

"I'll make sure Lu Jinho never messes with me ever again. This time around, I'll make sure I end him forever".
