Stupid scary snake !

Locus moved at really fast pace through the forest , his speed could be compared to car's speed in ying yue's world . 'How could snakes be that fast ?'

Though he was moving forward speedily , his movements were smooth so she should not feel even a slightest of jerks or any kind of discomfort ..

Ying yue has tightly shut her eyes earlier due to fear but after a while she opened her big eyes slowly and was taken aback by the beautiful scenery on her way...

Lush green forest , sky high trees , valleys adorned with colourful and fragrant flowers, big mountains, and the wind felt refreshing to her soul ....

She had never experienced such kind of things in her previous life , always stuck between hospitals and walls of her home ! She never had lived her life properly, not even once ! Even at the age of twenty two she was almost unaware of the outside world ! So many things that she missed to experience...

Pitiful ying yue !

But right now as if on a long drive , ying yue enjoyed the ride in Locus' arms , completely forgetting the fact here that she is not on a romantic long drive with her special someone but she is literally been kidnapped by the third level venomous feral beast !!

When locus noticed ying yue's astonishment as if she has never seen the forest this beautiful in her life and the twinkle in her big green eyes , his thin lips curled up slightly, he wondered what exactly is she so awed about , he lived in the forest for as long as he remembers and it felt plain and nothing exciting to him contrary to the female snake in his arms , who was cheery and excited as if she is seeing this for first time ! he slowed down a little so she could enjoy the ride to her heart's content ...

Mountain after mountain Locus glided swiftly through the dense forest before arriving at the lake .

she heard the rhythmic sound of waterfalls ahead that was at the other side of the lake .

they arrived in front of the waterfall, and Locus placed her down , she slithered closer to waterfall ,It was such a breathtakingly beautiful scenery ! Stopping exactly in front of the waterfall she breathed in deeply , filling her lungs with pure fresh air, she felt refreshed and rejuvenated !

'Aah... it's heaven ....It feels so good ! ' she thought in her mind , admiring the nature's beauty.

"How do you like this place ?" Locus asked her from behind , only when she heard his voice she came back to her senses and back to the present situation!

She was suddenly aware of her situation and as if frozen to the place , she did not reply or turned around to face him!

After a moment of silence and no response from her end , he said

"Uhm.. well my name is Locus and this is where I live , what are you called ?."

She noticed her surroundings , this place was really very far away from the main village and lions castle ! Not just that , she clearly remembers the previous burrow that she visited the other day to get that flower that saved Jasper's life and the very reason for her getting kidnapped by the snake beast !

'This is definitely not the place I visited that day !' She thought to herself

"Let's get in " he gestured her to enter the cave , basically his home !

When he noticed she is not responding to anything he says or does , he held her midway with one hand and entered the cave right through the waterfall !

"Ah !! Put me down !" She wiggled her tubelike body against his strong grip .

The water from the waterfall was really cold and they both got little soaked up in the water when entering the cave .

From outside it looked small but it was really spacious from inside , but yet again it was damp , there was a musty smell in the cave and would be little stuffy for normal human beings , but for snakes this was considered the ideal home .

Once inside , Locus let go of her and she quickly slithered away from him almost sticking to the other end of the damp stone wall !

'You are my mate from now !' Those words ringed in her mind again and again that made her anxious as to what gonna happen to her now !

He slowly closed in towards her and with every passing second her tiny heart was beating fast , no doubt he was handsome beyond words , but he still was a beast who technically brought her here against her wish and declared her as his mate , she wasn't even sure the meaning of the MATE she knew is the same here in this world or is it something completely different !

'Could it be that he brought me here to kill me ? Just like in those tales where they sacrifice someone to please the god or to suck their qi or something like that to become more powerful!'

Ying yue's imagination ran wild until he was just few inches away from her !

He closed in on her "Are you afraid of me ?" He asked in an ever so cold tone but his voice was gentle to the ears ,

'You almost killed that innocent Jasper , you brought me here forcefully, Who wouldn't be afraid of that huh ?! Is that so surprising to be afraid of your kidnapper , who is the giant beast to top it all ?!!' Corners of her mouth twitched , off course she didn't utter a single word that actually came to her mind !

After few seconds, he distanced himself a bit

"You must be hungry , I will go hunt !" He said in his usual emotionless tone and with last glance at ying yue he transformed into his beast form and glided out of the cave leaving shocked and scared ying yue behind , all alone in the cold dark cave !

Only when he was out of the cave she let out a breath she did not know she was holding in !

'That was really close ! Stupid Scary Snake !! One more second and I might have died due to loss of breath !' She inhaled deeply , an idea struck to her mind 'this is the perfect time to escape this place !'

She sneakily slithered out of the cave and without even giving it a second thought she hurriedly made her way towards the direction she thought was right to get to the main village ! At least that place has some other animals and seemed lot like normal than this secluded place, not to forget she could go to Jasper anytime and he also treated her well , his mother was also very gentle and caring lady !

She wriggled her body with all her might to move forward speedily !

Not even caring for the predators or other beasts that could kill her right there!

She couldn't wait there for snake beast to come back and kill her or mate with her !

'Whatever ! I need to escape from here !'

'If he can go as fast as car's speed then I am also the snake now , I should be able to escape with even the half of the speed as Locus' speed !' She thought trying to motivate herself to keep moving forward speedily !
