An eventful club meeting {P1}

(3rd Person POV)

Tachibana is spending his time playing PSP while resting on his bed. He was lying on the side of the bed when, all of a sudden, his smart watch rang.

*Ding*

A notification sounds can be heard in the lavish bedroom before going silent. He only sighs before turning off his PSP then lazily dragging his hand to grab the smart watch. Tachibana then look at the smart watch with a blank face

[Travelling club announcement]

---There will be a short trip on Sunday to serve as a freshman orientation

As he read the message on the smart watch he took another sigh

"I thought Sunday was going to be the day I chilled before going back to school the next day. What a drag."

He lazily said to his IBM, who is currently reading a novel on a lazy chair that was in the corner of the room. The half-headed monster ignores his master's lament as he turns to another page of the novel. He then resumes his conversation

"Why can't they did it on Saturday? It's practically the day when most people don't have anything else to do. What a pain."

Tachibana lazily said as he lay down on his back. The half-headed monster was still unbothered by his master's complaining. After a few seconds of silence, the ghost then turned into ashes, leaving an open novel on the lazy chair.

Tachibana sighs once again before slowly drifting off to sleep.

Timeskip two days later

(Kim Hajin POV)

Since the travelling club orientation is today. The meeting place was held at 'Cube portal station', which connected Cube to Seoul

After stuffing my gun into my cross bag, I walked towards the meeting place as my mind started to wander

'There will be an incident at the weapon museum. That will mark the first major incident in the story.'

As I was deep in thought, I accidentally bumped into someone and landed on my ass

'Ow... Did I bump into a rock?!? How on earth did this guy manage to get this kind of physical strength at such a young age!?'

"Oh dear, I am sorry for standing in your way. Are you okay?"

A casual voice makes it's way into my ears as I am wincing from landing on my butt. I then look at the owner of the voice, and what greets my sight was the anomaly of my story holding out one of his hand to me

"Is there something on my face?"

His relaxed voice broke me out of my daze. To which I only shake my head as I reply to him calmly

"No... I'm sorry for staring at you."

I grab the hand he is holding out as he pulls me up. I patted my pants to remove the dust as he look at me with a smile.

'His smile is quite annoying to look at...'

I reflected in my head as I patted my pants. After a few seconds of me patting my pants I finally decide to break the awkward silence

"*Cough* I am sorry for bumping into you. And thank you for the help."

I coughed awkwardly as I was trying to cover up my embarrassment over bumping into him. He only wave his hand dismissively as he answer me with an easy-going tone

"No worries. Not everybody have a good sense. Though, I advise you to train your senses since you are a marksman."

For some reason, I am pissed at him. I don't know why, but I felt like he is indirectly insulting me. I can only smile at him while trying to contain the urge of pulling out my gun and shoot at him.

*Ding*

*Ding*

Then both of our smart watch rang at the same time. I look at the notification and it says

[Travelling club announcement]

---Cadet ranked 3 Tachibana Shou and cadet ranked 935 Kim Hajin please make haste to the meeting place. The orientation will be delayed until the both of them arrive

Oi oi.... Did this guy also joined the travelling club? Then Tachibana nonchalant voice made me snap out of my trance

"Crap, I am late."

'What?.... Is that it? Not even a hint of shame and guilt on his face?!! How nonchalant can he be!?'

My jaw is hanging as I look at his reaction. I am taken aback by his attitude after being called out. He then look at me again with a smile

"Hey you're also joined the travelling club right? Want to walk with me?"

"Y-Yeah... Sure."

I can only nod my head as I awkwardly replied. He then start to walk towards the place where the orientation will be held

Timeskip twenty minutes later

'THIS GUY IS TRULY UNBELIEVABLE!!! A supposed 10 minutes walk to the place has turned into a twenty minutes walk. All because he is too indecisive when he is choosing his bread and drinks.'

I shouted in my mind as we arrived at the place. Some of the cadets glared at the both of us, while I was glaring at the anomaly who was nonchalantly chewing on bread and holding chocolate milk with his other hand.

The person who is responsible for me to be late look at me while his mouth is full of the bread

"Thanks Hajin. See you later."

He said to me with a carefree tone which caused my veins to bulge on my forehead as he walked towards his group of friends

'After making both of us late, you decide to ditch me, you prick!?'

I mentally cursed him as I walk towards an empty space while trying to ignore the glaring.
