A Certain High School. 10:00 am.

The establishment looks like a typical Japanese-style school building. The school has a large main building, towering several stories and with several other buildings surrounding the main one. Like any standard Japanese school, they've lockers for the students, parking space for the staff, a faculty room, a cafeteria, and an auditorium, and the roofs are apparently accessible to any student in the school.

The school students were not particularly encouraged by the festival. After all, A Certain High School always finished last among all Academy City schools.

But today they were all running around the sports field with all their might.

That was because the demonic instructor, Yomikawa Aiho, was present today to train all of them.

She was also a member of Anti-Skill, but she'll be active in her branch of work when the festival starts.

"Brats! If they don't do 20 laps around the sports field this time, they'll do another 20! " Yomikawa exclaimed.

She was dressed in a lemon green sports suit. Her style of dress was somewhat unusual considering the heat.

"Yes!"

"Yes!"

"..."

The students seemed to be used to her attitude and they all responded to her in unison.

Both male and female students were dressed in a white sports polo shirt and light blue shorts.

The students continued running while listening to Yomikawa's screams.

"Um... excuse me." A male voice was heard behind Yomikawa.

She reflexively turned and she saw a young man with gray hair and black streaks dressed entirely in white.

"Who are you?" She asked.

Yomikawa had memorized the faces of all the students in this school and she never saw Kanaru.

"I'm looking for the principal's office on the grounds of a school tuition." Kanaru said in a calm tone.

He also seemed to be looking for someone among the running students.

"A school enrollment on the eve of the festival? Are you kidding me?" Yomikawa asked with a frown.

She knew that was difficult because this year's classes had already started months ago. Although this school didn't stand out for the academic performance of the students, it was an Academy City school and its quality was guaranteed. She thought it would be difficult for him to catch up with the other students.

"I'm not kidding and classes aren't a problem." Kanaru said.

He finally seemed to see someone he knew.

That student had blue hair and he showed an expression of total surprise upon seeing Kanaru at this school.

"Still, I'm not sure if that is allowed by the new rules because of the festival. I'll call someone. " Yomikawa said.

She turned and saw the students.

"Oi, Fukiyose come here!" She screamed too loud.

All the students heard her and their gazes were directed at Yomikawa and the young man next to her.

A young woman with black hair headed towards Yomikawa and Kanaru.

Her figure was explosive and her clothes were too tight against her skin from her sweat, but she didn't seem to mind.

"What's wrong Yomikawa-sensei?" She asked.

Yomikawa pointed at Kanaru.

"This guy wants to enroll in this school, but I'm not sure if that's possible because of the festival. You are a member of the Daihaseisai Management Committee, so you should know the new rules better than I do." Yomikawa said.

Finally, Fikoyose looked at Kanaru.

She was a bit surprised due to her appearance, but she regained her composure quickly.

"Did you finish your middle school outside of academy city? Do you want to enroll as a first-year student? " She asked him.

Kanaru was a bit surprised by her direct attitude.

"I studied at Sakugawa Middle School and yes, I'm looking to enroll as a first-year student." Kanaru said.

"Enrollment is possible, but you'll have to take summer courses to catch up with the other students or take additional exams."

Kanaru nodded.

"The principal won't be here until a few hours later, so you'll have to join our training for now, new guy. Fukiyose, accompany him to the warehouse so he can borrow a sports uniform. Come back quickly for training Fukiyose and…" Yomikawa said, but she didn't finish saying her prayer as she remembered that she had still asked Kanaru's name

"Hikari Kanaru." He mentioned his own name.

"Come back quickly for training, Fukiyose and Hikari."

'It seems that she is very sure that I'll not do anything against this young woman... or maybe she thinks that I am weak. This teacher is strange, she didn't even ask me to show ID.' Kanaru thought.

But since this suited his purpose, he just went with the flow.

Shortly after, both left the place leaving the rest of the students with their mouths open.
