Head towards the mark

" That is such a bullcraps."

Ronin shouted as he was looking towards that mysterious man.

" You're saying that you've entered inside our house through magic and wants me to believe in such a bullcrap ??"

" If you don't believe me why don't you go and check outside of your house , in the house area. "

" What if that's a trap to lure me outside ?"

" If that was the case we could have taken you from inside of your house ."

" A trap can be made with various methods. "

" I can understand your feelings. But you must believe me. You've no choice. "

" And why would that be ?"

" Because I've information related to your lover, Monika."

Ronin's eyes had widened this time.

" Really ??!!! Prove it . "

" I know magic or I have the information ?"

" Both ."

Then that mysterious man just snapped his fingers and all the mud had vanished.

" This can't be ."

Ronin exclaimed while being shocked.

" This must be a trick right."

" No ."

" Okay, let's talk. You can sit here and I'll get my dress. "

" Sure ."

After saying that, the mysterious man took out a paper and wrote something.

Then he had left it under a glass. Ronin had observed the entire situation and the kitchen room.

That mysterious man said ,

" Check this paper after I leave ."

Ronin didn't say anything and left. That mysterious man went for the kitchen room and sat . Noticing this,Ronin first crossed the entrance area of the house. Then he had locked the door silently while noticing if that mysterious man was looking at Ronin or not.

Then Ronin went for his room and searched for the cellphone while keeping a sharp sense whether that mysterious man made any move or not. Ronin had to be extremely careful.

Although he didn't understand why that man had come here .

If that man wanted to kill him he could kill Ronin by now.

If that man was a part of the gang who had abducted Monika, he wouldn't be willing to provide information on Monika.

If that man was bluffing he would be most likely making a trap for both Ronin and Monika.

There were muiltiple possibilities. Ronin couldn't grasp the real one due to lack of clues.

Despite that, he won't stop making moves to subdue that man indirectly.

That's why he had taken his phone, miscalled an emergency number.

That emergency number was a contingent to this kind of situation. By dialing this, Ronin could instantly tell the nearby police officers that he was in danger.

Then Ronin picked up his clothes.

Then slowly opened the door while observing if a gun was pointed at him. He did that because of that mysterious man.

Ronin knew if there were killers outside the house or that mysterious man himself a killer , he wouldn't survive .But the survival instinct of a human would still make him act careful despite the risks being absurdly high. Ronin even tried to focus more on the footsteps to grasp the position of the mysterious man. Being a gamer, Ronin had one special ability which made him unique than rest of the humans except gamers. That's not only Ronin's ability but all the other gamers who are used to play FPS games. FPS or battle royale players would often possess high Visualization capability. Through the sounds and its resonances, a gamer could tell

'where the enemy is ? Which part of the building he is hiding ? Which way he is running? Which way he is making his moves?'

Studies shows that gamers even possessed the ability of high observation and relfex too.

Using all those, Ronin was walking inside his own house to grasp that mysterious man's motive, his position, his moves. Ronin couldn't be careless. That's why he was trying his best using his sensors to detect if that mysterious man was making any moves against Ronin or not.

Ronin knew if that mysterious man was a killer, Ronin couldn't do anything. It's the same explaination. It's Ronin's survival instinct that was making him move.

After a bit of confirmation, Ronin had crossed his room and looked at the kitchen. All this was just to find that the mysterious man was still sitting in that position where Ronin had last seen him.

Ronin laughed inside him but didn't show it to that man.

That man said,

" You took a long time. "

" Pardon me for that. Let's have a coffee ."

" Nope. I'll tell you one thing. Monika's hideout is in the northeast side of the city in the jungle's abandoned house which seems broken by outside view but isn't. There are lots of traps in the jungle too. Here is a detailed map on this paper. "

After saying this, that man took out a paper and pass it to Ronin through the kitchen table. Then he said,

" I'll take my leave. Good luck saving her. O wait ! One thing. Don't tell anyone about the information specifically police. It's a warning!"

"Or else ?"

" Ronin ! You're just a shut in loser. You don't know how the real world works. "

Then the man left. Ronin didn't have the power to stop him.

He could only look at that man leaving.

That mysterious man walked and passed the kitchen room finally coming at the entrance. He then twisted the door's knob, opened the door and left.

After he left, Ronin checked the entire kitchen.

He had investigated it.

He wanted to see if there were any kind of bombs.

But Ronin didn't see any single differences.

When Ronin was only wearing a towel, that man had sat in the kitchen room's chair. At that moment, Ronin had looked the entire room.

Ronin again looked at the whole room and tried to find differences between his two observation using that earlier memory when he was wearing a towel.

He didn't find anything.

He then looked at the place where muddy steps were found when Ronin came out of the bathroom. The entire scean was clean as if there was never any mud here.

Then suddenly Ronin remembered something.

" No ! This can't be . I'd clearly locked the front door. That man without any key just twisted the door's knob and left ?? His left hand was in pocket. His right hand was empty as I've clearly seen him twisting the door knob directly without having anything in his right hand. Did that man unlocked the door when I was changing clothes?? No ! This shouldn't be as I didn't hear any footsteps."

Without further thinking Ronin had went for the front door. He then twisted the door knob.

" Strange !!!!"

The door didn't open . The door was locked.

" How is this possible ?"

Ronin then took out his keys and checked the door. He could open it right now.

" How is this possible ?"

" If that man locked the door from outside of the house, I would have clearly hear the sound. But I didn't even hear a single thing. How can someone have this level of concealment ? There are definitely tricks . "

Then Ronin went for that paper which that man had written when Ronin was wearing that towel.

Ronin had opened his eyes.

His eyes had widened and he was shocked.

Then he had clenched the paper.

"Gg !"

On that paper , this was written,

— Ronin will go for the main door and lock it . Then Ronin will go to his room and dial the emergency number while checking if I made any moves or not. After confirming by using his skills earned via gaming he will come down and offer a cup of coffee to buy time so that the police could come and catch me before I leave.

Ronin came near a house. It was night. Around at 11 o'clock.

He then dialed a number.

After the second dial, the other person picked up the phone.

" Ronin !"

" Yeah ! Open the door, we need to talk. And get the boys too ."

"Right at this moment ?!?"

" Yeah. If you're busy or you've some other. things to focus on, we can skip that ."

" I knew you'd say that. But I won't accept. You definitely need a help. Come !"

That was a friend of Ronin. His name was Kai. He was the only friend Ronin ever had. Ronin didn't socialise much. But when he does, he had Kai with him.

It was around the time when Ronin used to gamble and walk on street. From that time, there was a guy named Kai who used to hangout with Ronin.

Kai was a genius too. Because since childhood Ronin had grown up with geniuses and humans with abnormal physical abilities, Ronin never thought himself to be an exceptional. Although Ronin is exceptional among many. But that doesn't mean he is the only one. Kai was someone who could even surpass Ronin in gaming if he tried but unlike Ronin , Kai's hobbies and passions were different. Kai was more interested in debates specifically about Theology and Philosophy . And that's what Kai had pursued in his entire life. Later he had married. Kai's marriage was arranged but he was enough happy with it. Because Kai was married, Ronin earlier in phone had specifically mentioned

"You've some other things to focus on"

After a few minutes of time ...

Ronin and Kai were sitting across a table.

" So, you're telling me that a mysterious guy had pulled on your house, gave you the address of Monika, shown you some tricks, vanished ."

" Yeah it's like that. "

Ronin replied.

Then Kai had told seeing the map,

" Seeing the map, it's in the jungle . It's known for its wilderness. "

" Yes. "

" Because of the wilderness, the kidnappers choose this place. Cause no other humans would be coming on that way unless he is a hunter ."

" You're right."

Kai added more into his explaination,

" Because of the wilderness people won't go there. And the house, this was made 1 year ago. Only the construction had started but never finished. So it was abandoned. But because people don't usually visit the jungle , most of the people are unaware of the house . So choosing a place like this would be beneficial for the culprit. The common people don't know anything about the house , they don't visit the place either. Police are no exceptional . May be a few people like me would know about this."

" How do you know that ?"

Ronin asked curiously.

" It's because last year , me and a few friends had visited many places. This abandoned house was one of them. Well you may wonder what kind of person would make a house in such a jungle where nobody visits. I don't know that either. "

" I see. "

" But now, we need a validity of the information. This can be a trap."

" Yes I know. That's why I'd come to you. "

" Well let me get the helpers. If Monika is really in that house , we'll definitely rescue her. "

Ronin was sleeping sitting on a chair while keeping his head on the table . Like a student who falls asleep in the class.

Kai was on his room.

At that moment, Kai had come and woke Ronin up.

" C'mon, we got what we needed."

" Is Miko there ?"

" How did you confirm ?"

" I'd contacted a thief. Using his drones we had investigated that place while attaching a night vision to it. Although I don't know whether that woman is Monika or not . But there is definitely a kidnapped woman there . So, either way we'll have to move to save that woman at least. The drone didn't enter the house or else it might get exposed and alert the kidnappers. We had to collect this information while keeping the drone a bit distant from the original location. We had found the the woman from a big window's view. "

" Got it. Let's head towards the mark !"
