All roads were blocked in the city of Xianshe. Detective Erly had informed all the police officers situated in the city for search of Monika.

Ronin on the other hand was going desperate. His thoughts were missing. His brain was full of smoke . His brain was like a frying chicken right at that moment. He tried everything in his position to search for Monika.

He even used his stream to leak the information in order to get the hideout of Monika's kidnappers.

From the surveillance cameras of that street, it was proven that Monika was kidnapped. No prior information was found from Monika's phone related to all these incidents.

Did that mean Monika was third ??

No way Ronin would ever accept that. If Monika dies, Ronin will suicide. That was currently the mental composure of Ronin, like a crumbled building .

They were all sitting in one room in the police station.

After a few moments of investigation, Erly came to Ronin.

" Are you fine ? Mr ??"

Ronin was shaking and his eyes had widened while he was looking at Erly.

" Did you find Miko ?? Did something happen to Miko ??"

" Stop overthinking. I was casually asking if you were fine ."

" N...o..."

" Ronin. I believe this is either a deep conspiracy related to Monika and Jessica's past . Or this is a 3rd conspiracy of a 3rd party where Jessica and Monika are the pawns."

After saying this Erly had sat down. Everyone in the room was looking at Erly.

Ronin, Monika's lover

Theller , Monika's cousin,

Everyone was there.

Then Erly added.

" You were being set up my guy. The kidnappers surely had the ability to kill you or kidnap you with her or damage you while taking away her from you. But instead they decided to distract you ."

Ronin shockingly replied ,

" I was being distracted ?? Only thing I remember is that ice cream truck. "

Erly was astonished. He added,

" Yes. You remember that. It was the distraction. The kidnappers had predicted that Monika would order you to get ice creams. So, when you crossed the road, they had taken the chance. "

Ronin after hearing that replied ,

" This doesn't make sense. What's the premise ??"

" We had investigated and interrogated the ice-cream truck owner. According to the owner, a few man had given him money just for standing on that road. According to the owner's schedule, he was never supposed to wait in that road for customers. But because he was paid a high amount, he did that. And for the reason, according to the ice-cream owner, he didn't know why those men had given him so much money just to stand there. The most probable explaination would be that those were the men who had planned the kidnapping while distracting you through the ice-cream truck. "

Ronin was shocked to hear that.

" It was all my Fault . All my fault. "

This was what Ronin was thinking in his mind.

Erly said ,

" Don't blame yourself. The criminals are sharp this time ."

Ronin heard that. The situation was as if Erly had read Ronin's mind.

" You should go back home right now and rest. You can hope for a good news. Don't overthink and don't do something stupid."

Ronin had eaten those words.

A dark place. There were no lights. Everything was black. A few sounds of bird's chirping could be heard. Not bird. But bats. They were flying from here and there and some were chirping.

In the middle of room, there was a chair. A girl was tied up in the middle of the room with a chair.

Her hands were tied together behind her back with the chair in a position where she would be unable to move.

Her legs were tied with the legs of the chair. Her face was hidden with a whole bag . A rope was used to tie the bag with her throat to hide her face. The rope wasn't tied too tightly to avoid her death. But she could feel the pain.

A mysterious force was stopping her mouth from screaming. She didn't know why she couldn't scream. She tried but failed.

It's as if something in her throat was stopping her voice from coming out of the mouth.

She wasn't unconscious either.

Her eyes were dizzy yet she was unable to fall asleep.

She was Monika. Ronin's lover . Ronin's heart.

She was kidnapped and she didn't even understand how she was kidnapped.

All she remembered was a van came and she went inside of it without thinking anything.

It's as if a super natural energy was controlling her will.

She remembered how blank her mind was when she entered the van.

Not so soon she had realised that she was kidnapped and tried to escape.

But how could she surpass the strength of 4 men surrounding her.

In the prospective of the four men who kidnapped her, she was like a child.

Many many questions were emerging from her head.

" Will they kill me ?"

" Will they sell me ?"

" Will they use me ?"

The more she thought the more she became terrified.

" Is this what a woman experiences when she is kidnapped ?"

Another terrifying thought was taking place in her mind.

" No please. I don't want to die like this !"

" Ronin ! Please save me . Please come. I know you won't leave me "

" No ! Don't come Ronin . This place is dangerous. Don't let your emotions kill you."

Two types of contradictory thoughts were engulfing her head.

One was the caring for herself. She was thinking to save herself from this danger. She wanted to live .She wanted to live with Ronin . She wanted to spend her life happily with her love.

Another thought was contradictory to the fact that she wanted to save herself. This thought suggests that she should die. Because if Ronin comes to save her, Ronin will die too . She didn't want Ronin to die even if it cost her life. Even if she survived, she wouldn't live in a world without Ronin.

The more she thought the more sane she was becoming because of the collision of thoughts.

Muiltiple thoughts would create in the mind. They would collide with each other and then the collision of thought would create a temporary will consisting of similar thoughts. If muiltiple will collided with each other, that's when a person becomes sane and unable to think anymore.

That's the situation of Monika.

If she overthinks , she becomes unable to think. But that's her habit. She would overthink on the simplest matter . She would sometimes become sane and unable to think due to falling into a crisis caused by overthinking.

If that's her problem what's the solution ??

Her solution was Ronin. When Ronin was present, she never had to overthink about anything because of her trust in Ronin. Ronin would instantly solve any problems of her . Whether it's related to her study, her daily life routine, her problems around her social life anything !

But right now, her biggest energy source was missing.

That's why she was in such a bad state . On top of that, the kidnapping situation was much more terrifying. She didn't even know when she would be saved.

She could only have some HOPE .

In the night sky, inside a building, a boy war muttering to himself.

Waters were dropping like rainfalls. The sounds of water scattering the floor and then splashing everywhere could be heard clearly. Even in this loud sound, everything seemed quiet to the point that water drops could be heard.

It's like loud and quiet at the same time .

Waters were dripping from Ronin's slippery wet back.

" It was my fault!

While showering , only sentences coming out of Ronin's mouth were these.

After saying this, he had punched the wall with his fists .

" Damn it ! You !!!! Despicable idiot!! Only if you were a bit extra careful it would have never happened. Only if you !!!"

Ronin was cursing himself.

Then he proceeded to punch the wall again. He punched so hard that the skin on his knuckles got cut and bloods started flowing out making his entire fist drowning in red ocean.

" Aggghhhhhhhh....."

Ronin shouted.

Then he threw the shampoo and some other bottles in the washroom out of rage. Ronin's entire composure had broken down. He was unable to manage his own emotions. Rage had taken place inside his head.

" Aggghhhhhhh.. you shitty Ronin. How could you do that ???""

He said this in a very Calm tone while punching the walls, shouting at himself, throwing things here and there in rage.

Ronin was becoming unable to think. It's as if he should never be separated from Monika.

It was true. Without Monika, Ronin considers himself nothing more than a gutter of shits.

He becomes dysfunctional without her.

After expressing his rage, shouting at himself , he couldn't hold it anymore and started crying like a baby.

" Why Ronin ??? Why didn't you suspect something and save Miko before hand ??"

While crying Ronin said to himself,

" You don't even know whether Miko is alive or not .

—If She isn't alive what's the point of my existence ?"

" You don't even know what they are gonna do with Miko ?"

" You can't even do anything to cope up with the situation. How can you be this shitty ?"

Ronin was cursing himself.

After completing his shower, Ronin had come outside of bathroom . As usual he was wearing a towel.

Right after that, he had noticed a man standing a bit far from Ronin's position beside a door of the dining room .

Ronin looked from head to toe and analysed the situation. He also looked at the other rooms floor too.

That man was wearing a silver black hat , silver black coat and a formal pant. His shoes were black and the shirt inside the coat was white.

Ronin didn't panic which he should have.

Instead Ronin asked ,

" Who are you ?"

" Aren't you afraid of me ?"

" And why that would be ?"

" You didn't understand the situation did you ?"

" That would be an insult of me as a gamer ."

Ronin actually understood the situation clearly.

Ronin said,

" You must have worked really hard to enter our house. "

" How can you be so sure ??"

That mysterious man asked curiously.

" After leaving the police station, I've come here. There was a small paper inside the corner of the gate . Before entering the house area, I've noticed that the paper was unmoved. Even if you were to notice the paper and put it back, there was another set up. I'd left a small mark on the handle of the gate. To enter through the gate you must use the handle to open it. Then the mark would have vanished by your touch. But the mark was still in the gate before I entered the house. So, you've either entered our house area through the fences before I came from the station OR you've entered our house area after I entered inside of our house via different methods. Regardless of what and when you've entered our house area, It doesn't matter. But I can say one thing which is you've entered inside our house while I was showering. "

That mysterious man laughed. " And then ?"

Ronin continued ,

" To enter our house, the most you need is a duplicate key. You could have used other methods as well. Anyways, There is mud in your shoes. I can see them clearly. I can also see the signs of the mud on the floor. But when I first entered the house after coming from the station, I didn't see a single mud in the entire house. Which means you didn't enter the house before me. But you've entered while I was showering. "

"Awesome "

The man said. The that mysterious man added,

" But do you know when it has rained in the city ?? Or where there had rained ??"

At that time, Ronin's eyes were widened. Because it didn't rain for about a few months in their city. There was no place for the source of mud in the area where Ronin and Monika's house were situated.

Then where did that mudd came from ??

Ronin asked ,

" So you're saying that this mud in your shoes was a camouflage for me to create a hole in my reasoning ??"
