Butterflies in the Waves.

Haku was out picking herbs when he saw you and Naruto. You were meditating near Naruto who was sleeping. Haku smiled at the sight, 'They're cute' "He" quietly walked over and shook us awake, "You two need to get up, you'll catch a cold out here" You stirred a bit, but pretended to not hear him. Haku shook his head and tried to wake you again. Blinking a few times you finally opened your eyes, seeing Haku you instantly smiled, "Good morning" I greet. He backed up a bit, "Good morning, I almost didn't want to wake you, you looked very peaceful" you tilt your head then nodded. Naruto woke up shortly after, slightly groggy. Noticing a new figure he sat up straight, trying to see if haku was a threat.

"I see you two are ninjas" Haku stated. Naruto relaxed, hearing the calming voice. 

"That's right! We're training to become stronger!" Naruto shouted, "I am to become Hokage so everyone in my village accepts me ,and so I can protect the ones I love!" Haku smiled, "Keep training ,and you will be able to protect any you hold dear" He then looked to me "Do you have any you wish to protect?" 

"Of course I do! My friends! They mean everything to me, and they we're there for me when I had no one; I'd protect them with my life."

I then try to release just ice natural energy, through my feet. Haku sees this and widens "his" eyes. "Oh sorry, I'm just practicing with my elemental affinity." looking Haku in the eye. Haku saw no lie or deceit in them. So he nodded and smiled, picking up his basket he began to walk back to where he came from, "By the way, I'm a boy" He said but before he left you said "Then why do you not have an Adam's apple" she froze one last time before looking back and saying "Being a girl is not safe in this world, best kept secret. Also it's best to keep your ice affinity a secret too." before walking off. Naruto was confused as shit while I just scoffed. 

Everyone except Naruto and Sasuke were in the dining room enjoying dinner when the door was kicked open. Walking in were the missing boys, battered, panting and leaning on eachother. 

"We made progress! A whole 2 seconds." Naruto shouted while Sasuke smirked, both of them collapsing to the floor. I crawled over to both of them, and nuggied them, "I knew you two could have a breakthrough!" I shouted. Naruto hugged me back, but Sasuke swatted my fist away. 

"That's annoying!" He shouted. I smirked , 

"Sorry but I live with this knucklehead bound to pick up something" he just "tched" and Naruto said "HEY" I shrugged and walked off to bed.

(Meanwhile in zabuzas hut)

"I'm glad you could make it kisame hoshigaki, my old friend." Zabuza greets a slightly blueskinned shark man, with a giant sword made of countless sharp edges. One of the legendary swords of kiri; Samehada the chakra eating living sword.

"You said there would be a good fight, you better not have lied." He says in a gruff voice

"Yes there is kakashi the copy-nin and three gennin, but they are alot more then meets the eyes. Especially the silver haired kid, he appeared behind me without me seeing him move. I also heard him say "1st gate ,Gate of opening" He seems to know the Eight gate technique. I dont know how much he can unlock, but if his speed was like that for first gate; nevermind the 8th gate. If possible keep the boy alive ,as he's possibly a mix breed from the yuki clan." zabuza elaborates while Kisame grumbles "Asking for him to be alive, is not something I like doing. Especially when Samehada is hungry....So I'll only make an exception if he puts up a good fight, if he is too weak; or by miracle too strong I will strike to kill." Zabuza hold back Haku as she was about to object "I agree to these terms." Kisame smiles and says "Oh and I'll be taking the copy-ninjas bounty." Zabuza just grunts and says "Fine it's not like, I would live; facing them alone. Who do you want to target first?"

"Samehada is thirsty for yuki blood to bad they are not on the menu... So his chakra will do." Zabuza goes stiff when he says this and stays wary "Alright we begin tommorow, what about a spar for old time sake?" He grins and says "That's what I'm talking about!"

Today's the day. The day we fight Zabuza for real. I'm nervous but I know I'll be fine, minus Naruto, i walk to the bridge. I see the unconscious bodies of the builders and I know that they're near. Kakashi gets in a defensive stance and everyone follows suit. 

"Nova, Sakura! Stay and protect Tazuna, Sasuke, you're with me!" Kakashi commanded. Everyone did as he said, and not too much longer Zabuza and Haku, and Kisame appear. 

"Hey your thats tracker ninja from the first time. But who is the scary fish guy next to him?!" Sakura said shaking. 

Kakashi's eyes went wide and he said

"Guys that's Kisame Hoshigaki hes an S-rank Missing-nin from Kirigakure. Prior to defecting from his village, he was one of the most powerful gerneration of the Seven Ninja Swordsmen of the Mist's members. He's way out of all of our league we need to retreat."

'Sh*t hes right I wont stand a chance with him,.... unless I go all out; even then there is a chance of dying.

"Now-now I'm not here to kill! Well unless.... the silver haired kid is too weak that is. I am here to fight!"

"Haku, deal with the Uchiha kid, after that kill everyone else!" Zabuza shouted. Haku nodded,

"I apologize, but he is precious to me, please don't take this personally." With that she began to attack Sasuke with senbons. Sasuke skillfully blocked each one with his kunai.  I watched intently to see if any of them get hurt. Starting to see Haku begin his Ice Mirrors.

We all split up as we had no choice in the matter, kakashi tried to fight off zabuza as fast as he can; so he can help me then we could retreat.

"Let's head onto the water ,as I'm sure you wouldn't mind?" Kisame laughs and says

"You got guts kid ,the only person better at me at water jutsus is the second hokage. But I guess it doesnt matter, as we are close enough anyways." I hear kakashi yell in the distance, as we hop down to the water away from the bridge.

"So Kisame is it? I heard your sword feasts on chakra, what about we test that theory.<Shadow clone jutsu> Me and my clones cast a genjutsu on him, and we make ourselves a icesenshuriken disguised as a rasengan. I have my clone rush at him with it. I notice samehada eating up the genjutsu fast. However kisame either doesnt notice or doesnt care.

"Now feast samehada" Kisame rushes at me using his sword to block the attack just before he does, I open up to the 4 gate. I try to contain it all inside my body, but it's not enough and he still blocks the attack with his sword. *Poof* Boom. A giant explosion occurs and from it whips out icy winds ;that freeze almost all the water near the bridge. This causes a geyser of ocean to incase a 250 foot radius in ice. I prepare two clones one with a plasenshuriken , the other with another icesenshuriken. I give them a perception filter device, one each. They backed up out of the way ,as we seen the ice begin to crack. Just then I see a figure emerge, it was kisame merged with his samehada. He laughs a says "Hahaha kid I noticed you had a genjutsu on, but to think you were hiding such a card. You actually made me bleed, not just that but with my own element water under my feet. Only jiriya of the leaf could push me this far, but even still not on an ocean!!! Consider yourself honored, to be in the presence of my strongest form. When my sword collects enough chakra I can fuse with it, If I didnt fuse I might have died in that attack. Now prepare to die!!!"

( Flashback a few min ago on the bridge)

"Nova!!!" Kakashi yell while blocking an attack by zabuza while he says "Haha that kid is as good as dead, now that he has entered kisame's element." Kakashi grits his teeth and says "No! He wont die, hes not stupid; he must be doing this for a reason! He is alot stronger then he looks" Kakashi retorts. Zabuza has a clone sneak up behind him, aiming for his head. However kakashi uses substitution jutsu to survive. "Face it! Even tsunade or the toad sannin wouldnt be a match for him, when hes in his element!" Kakashi is spoken by these words and remembers obito and rins death 'Its all my fault, I should have called for ba-' his thought was inturrupted by a large boom. Followed by the water surrounding them freezing solid, as giant gusts of cold wind; freezes everything in sight. They both stop battling, and take a look at the huge frozen pillar of ice; with Nova standing infront of it. "What kind of monster have you been harboring in the leaf?!!" Zabuza yells with his mouth agape. Thinking 'If I didnt have kisame come, I would have been done for. Hopefully that used up ,alot of the kids chakra reserves.'

"I told you he wont give up and he will survive!"

kakashi said while internally thinking 'Geeze Is this what he has been working on, in a matter of a few days?'

Zabuza rushes at kakashi and says "You think he will last long, with that sword and using that much chakra?" Kakashi starts to sweat 'I'm sorry Nova just hang on ,I'll try to defeat him as soon as possible.'

(Meanwhile with sasuke and haku)

Haku threw a few senbons at sasuke but he kept dodging him, "Tch. Is that all you got!"

Haku was surprised by his speed, and was about to increase his speed when they heard a big boom. As arctic air froze the water around the bridge, and a giant ice geyser stretched to the sky. Haku looks stunned and thought 'Is he a yuki aswell, to think he could have such a jutsu to cause that! I hope Kisame doesn't kill him now, as he is too strong, stay safe Nova-kun'

Sasuke was also stunned and was gritting his teeth thinking 'Why is he always ten steps ahead of me. Is this why he focused so hard on chakra control ,could I do that? Well if hes not holding back, neither will I!' He thinks while taking off his weights, and activates his sharingan.

Haku notices but doesn't care ,as with the arctic winds he feels his connection to his ice grow. He then increased his speed, and started to hit sasuke left and right. Sasuke growled and threw a few shuriken, but then Naruto came down in between and blocked them. 

"Naruto Uzumaki has arrived!" He shouted. Sasuke stared blankly at him, "Cant you come in more quietly?!" Sasuke yells.

"I was trying to save you!" Naruto yelled back.

"Well I'm not holding back anymore!" Sasuke screams, naruto nods and they both start using air-walking. Surprising haku. Sasuke throws blazing hot blue fireballs at the mirrors while dodging the senbons. While Naruto also dodges and uses his wind to try, and slice through the mirrors. But it was no use, these mirrors are getting enhanced; by the new cold climate all around them. Naruto and sasuke look at eachother, and nodded Combo style :Steam dragon jutsu. Haku stared at the new giant piping hot steam dragon ,starts to melt through his mirrors. Haku tries to remake and reinforce them, but just to hear a second boom.

(Meanwhile with Kisame and Nova)

"Your good kid! But now that we have fused, your going to feed us your chakra and flesh!"

Kisamada says as he rushed at me at a speed that forced me to open the 6th gate. 'I cant hold this for much longer, but I dont want to lose a regeneration.' Kisamada hits me with a right hook as I wasn't fast enough to dodge. "Ooh your chakra tastes soo good!" Kisamada says as his wounds heal ,and he gains an aura around him. "I must say your hard as iron but this is not any sword! Now I feast!" Kisamada cackles ,and i start to use lightning and wind to make me faster 'I wont be able to hold this for much longer, a few minutes at tops.' I start to dodge his attacks easily, and I make two clones to grab and restrain him. He makes a right hook and I grabbed his arm flipping him over me, while we all dogpile on him and say "Now!"

My two hidden clones make a clone the guide the elemental rasengans, towards me. To ensure they dont miss their true target. As he could escape their grasp. Kisamada laughs and says "Is this your plan, suicide hahaha. Well if it's more powerful then before, it's a nice way to die in a fight. To go out in glory, but do you really thing samehada and I ;cant eat all the chakra?! Being it on!!" He says while getting out of my grasp, in the last second. He cant see my clones so they still hit him, as my clone swaps with my position. I get blasted away by the two opposite forces colliding. I blast through one of haku's mirrors, and land right in the middle of them ;as they surrounding me. I look up and see a bit clearer then before ,as I am bombarded by information uploading to my brain. The Deva Path ;the power to manipulate attractive and repulsive forces with objects and people. Amaterasu; Hell flames also known as divine flames of wrath.

Just spit finishes I hear sasuke, and naruto yell "Nova!" "Ni-saan!" Then I feel a great pull by a vacuum like force. Off in the distance we see a tornado start to form. "Naruto, we need the strongest wind attack you can make ;to break the tornado or else we might all die!"

Haku looks in terror at the attack that I made ,and worse when he sees the tornado begin to form as large as a category 5.

Naruto and sasuke look at eachother ,then naruto runs off to take care of the hurricane.

He begins to leak out red energy ,and gains a red chakra cloak; he then howls and uses his strongest wind jutsu S Wind Release: Demon Tempest Palm. He makes a giant arc of wind that heads horizontally forward ,to slash the tornado in half. Normally this is S rank but with the Chakra gem and his kyubi cloak it becomes a SSS class jutsu, strong enough to even make a small gash on the tentails himself.

(Meanwhile inside the hurricane)

"bluka" Kisame coughs up blood " That damn brat almost killed me, and even worse almost broke my blade. It's a good thing, I used that one jutsu I learned from itachi; for winning that drinking contest.Who would have thought, he would be such a good drinker;that I almost lost. To bad the Fire Release: Raging Flame Sphere jutsu ,left me depleted of all chakra.(He used this to melt the ice ,to create a sphere of water to protect him. This water and the ice ,was then evaporated by plasmagan.) Now I'm stuck in this god dang tornado. Just you wait brat, I'll get you back for- Shit!" He sees a giant blade of wind, heading for him and the tornado. His head gets separated by the wind,as the rest of his body gets destroyed. His sword flew away seperating from the head.

(Currently back inside haku's mirrors)

I make a shadow clone to get me kisames head for his bounty; if there is any body left that is.

As my clone flys away and naruto comes back.

Haku just looks at us and asks me "Nova are you from the yuki clan?"

"No I am not. But I have the blood from a clan where ,all bloodlines diverged from. " Naruto and Sasuke looks at me shocked.

"Gato plans to betray have a look." I toss up a holodisc with a video of his betrayal. Leaving them all shocked.

"I dont want to fight or kill you guys. Actually I want you to join us in the hidden leaf. They will welcome you with open hands, I have two favors to cash in with the hokage. I dont mind using one on zabuza. I then noticed kakashi about to finish off zabuza, so I jump in the way.

Kakashi noticed too late and hit my shoulder. I screamed in pain because of the momentum and backlash so i fell to my knees, gripping my bruised shoulder. The three of them looked at me in shock. Kakashi's hands shock and he went down to my level and gripped my face, "Why did you do that?! I could of killed you! Did you even think about that?!" I smiled at him, 

"If I would of died, I would of died happy. Their not bad people Sensei" Naruto heard me and turned to Zabuza in anger. 

"Haku loves you like a father! Haku would of died for you, do you still just see him as a weapon?!" He didn't see Zabuza start to put his head down, "You don't deserve Haku! Why cant you see when someone loves you?!" 

"Kid" Tears started running down his face, both Naruto and Haku gasped at this, "Please stop" 

"Hey, I hate to break this super sweet moment, but Gato and his men are about to come and betray you" Zabuza whipped to me, "How do you know we work for him? Or that we're going to get betrayed?" 

"I figured it out when Tazuna told us it was Gato who was after him, and then you showed up. As for the betrayal, do you really think Gato is the type to stay true to his word?" As I finished Gato and company showed up on the bridge, looking for a fight. They were all shaking because they seen the explosions ,but they saw all all beaten up and grinned.

"Kid, let me borrow a kunai" Zabuza asked Naruto, which he complied. 

"Naruto" I called to him, he walked over to where he was, his eyes widened at the amount of blood I had lost. I then say "Naruto, make some clones to help Zabuza, he'll die if he does it alone" He looked at me confused, but nodded and made eight clones. The clones and Zabuza rush off to the group and attacked them. Zabuza was killing whoever ,while Naruto simply hit them so hard they fell unconscious. I see Zabuza killing Gato and smile. After they all died or were knocked out. The two mist ninjas walked over to me, who was currently being held by Kakashi; since I did lose a good amount of blood. 

"Thank you for helping us, we could never repay what you've done" Haku said sincerely. I shook my head, tapping his forehead with my two fingers, replacing his memories of us flying and other stuff. While my clone used his perception filter to do the same to zabuza, and everyone else nearby. Just then we hear a groaning sound, followed by a happy puppy like noise.

We turn to look and see samehada crawling towards me.'Huh it must have flew near here then crawled?' We then heard it say "New Master."

Making all of us drop our jaws and say

"What!!!!" The sword then crawled towards me and I decided to pet it. Kakashi and zabuza were about to stop me, and say it will only let its owner touch it. They were too late and it was purring. "Master!" it says again making everyone look at me, like a grew two heads.

"Okay let me guess when your previous owner attacked me, taking alot of my chakra with it. You absorbed it ,and it changed you into what you are now?" I picked it up and used chakra to stick it to my back. "Yes Master it's as you say, or should I call you Father, since your essence created me."

"I think we shouldn't speak of this ,at least till we get to the hokages office. Also we need to hide Samehada ,as it will attack to much attention." As kakashi says this, I send information into the sword making it smarter. It then transformed into a guantlet, further surprising everyone.

"Don't worry about it just, what are you two going to do now?" I ask. 

"We don't know, we cant go back to the village, I'm not going to do assassinations anymore" Zabuza stated. It was silent for a bit before I spoke up, "What if you come to the leaf village?" Everyone looked at me like I split in two, "What?" Naruto said in disbelief. 

"What if they come to the leaf, become ninjas again? I'm sure Zabuza would become a Jounin right away, Haku I'm sure you could be in Anbu" The two looked at eachother, having a mental discussion. Nodding, Haku grabbed my hand gently, "We would love to, if they would have us" 

"Its settled! Lets go back to the village!" I said cheerfully, but winced as I had moved my shoulder. 

"Not till you heal a bit." Kakashi commanded. I groaned, "Healing equals sitting in bed forever, which is boring as shit!" 

"You're staying in bed longer for you still using that language when I tell you not to"

"Sensei!"
