14 Calm down, Vin

Hojo hastily ran into the room where Vin was screaming with his eyes closed. Cold sweat soaked all over his body and Vin's clothes were all wet. Then Hojo sat next to Vin, stroking Vin's forehead while making sure Vin's body temperature remained within normal limits.

37.9 degrees celsius!

Hojo was worried. Even though he didn't show it, Hojo's face darkened with restraint.

Panic. Of course.

Even though Hojo tried to stay calm, he had never been in a situation like this before. Especially with small children who are teenagers like Vin.

Because all his life Hojo was only interested in cultivation or something that contained martial arts with super powers. It could be said that Hojo had traveled all over the country in the world. However, Hojo had never taken care of a teenage boy who was facing a 'New Awakening'.

"Calm down, Vin. You will be fine. As long as you can survive within 3 days then you will be fine. Maybe you will become stronger than before. Or maybe you'll just become a normal human as you wished." Hojo whispered in Vin's right ear.

"Master Hojo, please protect Vera. Please make sure Vera is okay." sobbed Vin with his eyes hard to open.

Vin's entire body ached as if it had been hit by tens of tons of superpower. Vin could only lie in bed without being able to move any part of his body except his mouth to speak. When he finished speaking his mouth was dry.

Every inch of Vin's muscle felt like it was going to explode and it hurt so much!

"Why do I have to trouble myself to help your young brother who is in good shape? You have to wake up right now and act as an older brother should. Don't ever beg me again like this, understand?" said Hojo curtly. Smile to yourself.

So true. Why does Hojo have to work so hard to take care of an unstable teenager like Vin?

Even though Hojo was looking for potential new students at the Herculean Academy, Hojo never thought he would encounter such a unique case.

Once again, Hojo just wanted to enjoy his day off in peace. However, Hojo's decision to walk through the slums leads him to become involved with Vin. This is completely beyond expectations!

"Ugh, uhh." Vin couldn't speak more than a groan.

But because of Hojo's words, surprisingly Vin got out of bed with difficulty. Even though his body shook violently and almost fell. Vin was very afraid of disappointing Hojo, even though risking his own life was better than feeling regret for the rest of his life.

"Calm down, Vin. I understand your determination is unquestionable now take this medicine. Even if it's just a temporary painkiller, I don't want you to suffer anymore." said Hojo placing 3 pills on the nightstand.

Vin immediately took the drug and swallowed it in one gulp and then lay back down. Hojo immediately left Vin to rest. Because Hojo couldn't help anything.

"New Awakening is something you have to live alone, Vin." Hojo sighed again finishing his work of watering the medicinal plants.

"..."

An anonymous letter arrived at Hojo's dining table. Thin letter with a blue cover with a blood red seal with the logo of a three-headed dragon.

Hojo lazily took the letter, staring at it to find out the contents of the letter. Then Hojo unsealed the red letter with the 3 head dragon logo on it.

"So you wanted to come because you just wanted to come, old friend?" Hojo grumbled after reading the letter

"Okay. I will follow my game this time. But when you start acting up there's no mercy other than prison." Hojo said after seeing a flash of shadow from the outside of the door.

The big tall man hiding behind the door smiled awkwardly. Then, with dramatic steps, the big man walked into the house.

An extremely valiant man bravely walked up to Hojo.

"Shouldn't you let me come while I'm still acting normal, Hojo?" the big tall man chuckled.

"Have I ever played with you? Vin is in pain because of the New Awakening. So just wait until the symptoms subside."

"Because I'm very curious about the last member of the Alamba family."

"Don't bring up the past. When their destruction is also one of the consequences of your stupidity, Juro!" said Hojo furiously.

Reflexively Hojo's eyes closed and the terrible memory came. His half-sister, Juro, always does unreasonable things just to get other people's attention. Always and every day Juro does as he pleases. Even into adulthood!

"So big brother should be able to set a good example, please." Juro chuckled without feeling guilty.

Hojo just took a deep breath. Hojo was no longer annoyed with Juro. It's just that Juro came at a time when Hojo was feeling very upset with himself.

"Hoho, you don't want to take me out for tea together?" Juro teased smiling then sitting in front of Hojo.

"Even without me asking you would have taken your place, don't you think?" said Hojo ignoring Juro.

Not only that, Juro ran towards the kitchen and made an omelet. Don't forget Juro took 5 slices of white bread, mixed it with an omelet, and ate it in one go. Juro sat in front of Hojo who looked at him in surprise.

"I didn't know you admired me so much. I didn't know feeling like a famous artist turned out like this. It turned out to be fun too, didn't it?" Juro laughed shamelessly.

"Right. It will be even more fun when you can calm the semi-conscious Vin. Because I know you must have many ways to be loved by a child. Oh, for the record Vin is a volatile teenage boy so you should be able to pay attention to your manners in front of that boy." said Hojo looking at Juro who suddenly opened his mouth wide in surprise.

"What do you mean I have to be the private tutor of a deranged teenager who is dying of New Awakening, that is what you mean?" shouted Juro in disbelief.

"It turns out that your brain is not working properly apparently. Why did I have to go to the trouble of asking you to come here without any particular purpose? Where is your real brain?" said Hojo sarcastically.

"Right. I forgot that you are that evil big brother. Why did I forget that terrible fact?" complained Juro sadly.
