Prank!!??

"....." I stare at the maids who are rushing towards me with frightened faces.

"OH MY GOSH!!!!!!!!!!! Young miss!! "Are you alright !!???" One maid help lifts me to my bed carefully while the others trying to clean the mess I made when I fell earlier.

"...." I silently stare at the maid that looks scared stiff. " Who are they??" I thought to myself. " I don't remember having this much maid for me alone.

" Did my parents hired a new one while I was unconscious??" I keep wondering not realizing that the maids are now trembling.

" We are sorry young miss !!!!" All the maid are now kneeling.

"...Wut da hell!!!????" I am dumbfounded." Why are they calling me young miss??"

" Due to our incompetence...young miss got injured!!! Please forgive us " they keep kneeling while trembling. "We were careless for leaving you untended while you were sick, PLEASE FORGIVE US!!!!!!" A maid who I think might be the leader apologized.

I don't know what to say so I don't say anything but it seems the maids took it the wrong way. Some of them even start to cry a little. There are five maids in total and not even one dares to lift their head.

" Please forgi-STOP!!!!!" They all become silent. My head hurt please stop talking... that is what I want to say but..it sounds rude in my head.

" My throat hurts, please bring me a glass of water ".That sounds better and I can use this chance to get to know the real situation right now. I watch them stand up one by one slowly until the moment I realized that one of them has an animal tail and ears. "Cosplayers??"

" Hold On !!!" I raise my hand to get their attention. This time I am curious. "You...-" I point my finger to the cosplayer maid, "Could you come a little closer ..?" I realized that she was the maid that lifts me to bed before " I wonder why all of their faces look pale when I call this maid to come closer???."

" As you wish, young miss ." The maid replied. When I look at her face she looks calmer than the other maid. I smirk. I like her already, I thought. She looks like the type to always stay calm even under pressure.

Now she is standing close to me beside my bed still not changing her expression. " Interesting!!" I mutter the word in amusement as I take a good look at the ears.

It looks so realistic and the furs look so fluffy~. My hand is itching to rub it.

I wonder where she bought it. Also, why is she cosplaying right now?

"Hey, where did you get those ears... I want one too.." I grinned as one of my hand reaches to touch that ears " it looks really cute~" I compliments.

I smile at her. I mean it when I say it looks cute. I struggle a little because this maid is standing right now and she is pretty tall. My body is still weak and tired right now.

Right at the moment I almost reach my hand to her ears.. her calm expression turn to grimace.

"Grrrrr....."

I think I heard a growl just know. My movement stopped.

Suddenly, she launches herself at me and pins me to my bed. She is now on top of me. Her face is close and I can feel her breath on my face.

I tried to struggle but to no avail, she is crazy strong!!!!

I am so...confused right now about why she is now mad but, " maybe she is acting to scared me. Is this a tv show where you prank a patient in a hospital bed??"

I am lucky because I don't get a heart attack.

"GROWL"

Again...I swear I heard a growl...I am now feeling bad.. does that animal ears that important?

Wow... I cannot understand how hardcore cosplayer thinks.

" You BITCH just because we are a beastkin...you think you can order us AROUND and treat us like trash??!!" she is spouting nonsense now.

"Calm down...miss... I was just asking" I tried to smile as genuine as I could to lighten the mood.

BAD IDEA BAD IDEA!!

"YOU FUCKER!! HOW DARE YOU PLAY WITH ME!! YOU HUMAN ARE NO BETTER THAN A LOWLY PIECE OF SHIT!! NO !! YOU ARE EVEN DIRTIER THAN ONE !! ALWAYS THINKING YOU ARE THE BEST TRYING TO-AGHHHHHHHHH!!!!". She suddenly screams which shocked me. When I look at her face, I see veins popping out on her forehead which clearly shows that she is in some kind of pain.

Then, she passed out.

".... I took back what I said about her being calm than other maids."

"What's wrong with her??."

"Why did she passed out?"

Now I am confusion. ( Its a joke )

Then the unconscious maid is lifted from on top of me by the other maid. " So much for being helpful " I glare at them for their slow action. " My ears are hurting from all that shouting you know.," I told them.

They flinch upon hearing the dissatisfaction in my voice and see me frowning.

Then I saw a man. Muscular body despite looking like an old man with the beard and all. A flashy scar on his face and he is wearing armor " it's cool..but, what's going on?? another prank???" I feel confused again.

He then walked in. " Rita! " His voice is stern but also loud.

"Ughh...my head" I flinched with the sudden loud voice.

"Rita, what happened here."

I just look at both of them talking. The man asking a maid named Rita about this situation, about what happened and how did this happen.

My head hurt so much so I don't care. " Hey! " I call to them and the room when silent. All the maid look scared but the man did not change his expression. I like this Old Man, I thought

"Where is my drink?" Seriously..my throat hurts.

Rita hurriedly grabs a glass and pour water inside and gives it to me as fast as she could and she almost falls doing so. " Careful or you may fall in the future" I give her a piece of advice so she won't trip herself.

" Hiiiii....please forgive me, don't fire me please!!!"

"fired!!??" I splurt some water when I saw her kneeling suddenly and the water from my mouth landed perfectly on her head. " She is kneeling again!!??"

"Oh, my bad... you are dirty now..you should get change quickly. " "I feel bad. " Damn it!! I am so clumsy..but why does all of them are scared of me....did I do something?? Ughh!! My head. I rub my head due to the headache.

" Please!! Don't fire me, I don't know what should I do without this job!!! This job is the only thing I have to support my family!!"

Do I even have the abilities to fire you !!??. I thought gloomily.

"Aghhh...my head!! What is going on... Why are they scared of me...even that cosplaying knight is looking at me with I don't know.? angry ?? Disappointed??.. Damn!!!Damn!!!Damn!!!!

" I can't understand anything ever since I woke up!!??" This is so annoying!!

" Can you stop crying?!!!" I stare at everyone in this room. "Ever since I woke up all of you keep apologizing over trivial things, kneeling, crying one of you scream at me then someone here suddenly starts begging at me." I take a deep breath before I speak again to control my annoyance.

" And stop wearing some dumb clothes with ears, tails and why are you wearing armor?? " I look at this big guy." Please, can you all take me seriously?" "I am not a joke for your enjoyment. Go change to better clothes and stop all this prank at once." I demand and smile.

Maybe the tv crew will come out if I state a little piece of my mind right now." It's true tho..i hate pranks".

That Old Man now is walking towards me.

" Here we go " maybe he will start explaining to me about this prank.

"You are still sick..how about you go sleep for now and cool your head??" He places his hand on top of my head and starts to pat me. Acting like we are so close.

" Sorry... I brush his hand away..."Say... Who are you...??" I asked the old man and he stopped patting me right away.

" I'm your grandpa," he said while glaring at me.

" Since when?? " I was dumbfounded. I don't know him and he said he is my grandpa. " My grandpa is dead," I told him.

There was a slight paused before he talks again" All of you..could you leave us alone. I want to talk with my granddaughter a little. " Said the old man to the maids.

" Yes!" We will go now." Call us if you need anything ." After the maids said that, they all went on their way.

It's only me and the self-proclaimed grandfather of mine.

" So, what do you want to talk with me privately?" I asked curiously.

" You don't remember me?" He asked.

I just stare at his face. It's not because I don't remember you but, I don't know you, I thought in my head before asking, "Who are you?".

He sigh. " Please stop pretending...," and shake his head with a frown on his face.

"You must think the punishment is too much but, you need to know that you overdid it. You are lucky that you only got to get away with a punishment like a house arrest for one month. If you were just some commoner.. you might lose more than you already have." There was sadness in his voice when he said that to me.

I just stay silent. It is just weird. Even if this is a prank, why did it suddenly become a serious issue now?? I open my mouth to say something but was interrupted by the old man.

" It's late now. Get some rest and reflect on your mistake some more. Tomorrow during breakfast you need to apologize to your sister for all the trouble you have caused in front of your mother and father. "

"!!!!!" what?
