Crown Prince Jian Guo had laid his eyes on Chen Xue'er. When he heard that Li Dong Hai had let Chen Xue'er leave the palace, he became outraged. He was already planning on seducing her in the winter banquet that was held annually, but now that Chen Xue'er was gone, he needed a new plan. 

Since Imperial Consort Xian always supported his conquests, he knew he could do whatever he wanted with Chen Xue'er and no one would say a word. Even if they had wanted to. 

"So, now the game has become interesting," Jian Guo said as a sly smile spread through his face. For him, seducing and having a woman was all just part of a game.

As a game of cat and mouse, Jiang Guo sent some servants to look for Chen Xue'er whereabouts. They had just returned a few days ago with the girl's whereabouts. Apparently, she had been staying all that time in a hostel.

"Just why would she stay in that miserable place instead of living a life inside the palace?"
