Chapter -8 Black market [3]

As soon as I transferred half of my remaining points the metal gate opened.

Anyone would expect it to be dirty and smelly but no, it looked very luxurious.

luxuriously decorated hall, where at the front stood a stunning reception counter made of a mixture of wood and marble.

A pure white marble floor and a silky red carpet on top of it. Various receptionists attended the guests.

Each and every part of it was screaming luxury. Anyone would be surprised but not me since I visited it a lot frequently.

Arriving at the front desk of the reception, I went towards a clerk on the right side of the reception desk.

"Welcome to [Dungeon operators] how may we help you?"

"Is the [Red-eyed mountain available]."

"Yes sir."

I expected him to say "no" like every time but to my surprise it was available.

'They don't know that they are missing on such a great opportunity.'

"I would like to enter the [Red-eyed mountain] please."

"Very well, here's a contract you will need to sign before we can finalize our deal"

Handing me a three-page long contract, I patiently looked through the contents.

In short.

I would be required to get my dimensional space checked before I enter the dungeon so that no misunderstanding arises when I report my gain.

I quickly transferred the remaining points left in my bank account to the receptionist.

When exiting a dungeon the staff will do a strict check on the items and things I will bring out so that no false reports were made when paying the contractor clause.

Looking at the contents I quickly signed the contract.

Then I went towards the waiting room where many servants were serving the food to people.

If I said I wasn't nervous then I would be lying. I had entered dungeons previously too but non of their ranks were so high and not to mention the fact that this would I would gain a lot.

I have to gain each and every reward within one week since a week in a dungeon equals to a day over here.

I stood up and made my way toward room No. 9.

Soon the door opened and in front of me lay a magnificent scene.

Even though I was one meter away from the portal I could still feel its pressure. 'So this is an E+ dungeon huh.'

I slowed my pace and made my way toward the portal.

Soon, as the warp portal lit up, I felt my body slowly lift from the ground. Then I saw my body turn into particles and shortly after I started losing all my senses.

It first started with my vision, then my hearing, and slowly all my remaining senses.

My head was aching and my vision was completely blurred.

Every time I enter a dungeon or a portal, they all feel the same...

...it felt Like shit.

As soon as I felt my eyes regain their usual clarity, I felt a blast of hot air engulf my body.

The dry environment instantly caused my lips to tighten up, prompting me to repeatedly lick them to keep them moist.

The ground beneath me was full of cracks, and signs of skirmishes could be seen everywhere in the surroundings.

It was a completely desolate place.

Taking a moment so that I could adjust to the harsh environment, I sat down and quickly checked on my equipment.

Carefully placing my hand on my hips where my newly acquired sword rested, I made a recount of the things that I brought.

Seeing that I didn't have anything missing, I stood up and decided to venture deeper into the dungeon.

It didn't take me long to find one of the monsters.

It was a white leopard.

I had to be careful since this monster was probably E-rank.

Each and every monster over here was capable of taking my life so I had to be careful while attacking them.

My best chance to kill them was a sneak attack and hit their vital spots.

I studied about them point to point and I know each and every weak spot about this leopard.

It was the jaw of it. Cutting through its skin might be a difficult job but slicing its jaw wouldn't be that difficult.

But first I needed it to open its mouth.

Mana accumulated around the tip of my new sword as I dashed toward the leopard and then.

-Spurt.

I was able to stab through the skin of the leopard. Even though the injury was nothing vital nonetheless still better than nothing.

I was able to stab the leopard because of tge effect of the artifact in my hand but sadly

Mana was a problem. I needed to increase it. I once again focused on the leopard.

A creepy smile appeared on my face as I saw the leopard opening its mouth and trying to bite me.

Mana once again accumulated on the tip of my sword and the speed of it increased once again. I felt as if I was cutting butter using a hot knife.

It looked as I I had drawn a white light using the tip of my sword which passed through the jaw of the leopard. After two seconds the white line also disappeared.

Looking at the dead leopard my smile was widening with each passing second. It widened to such an extent that it didn't even look like a smile that was expressed by a human.

I woke up from my daze and covered my lips. This was a side of me that nobody alive has seen. A side of me that I want to keep hidden from everyone.

-Sigh

I sighed as my eyes paused on the dead body of the leopard and then stored it in my dimensional bag.
