Lending A Hand

Ethan stood amidst the group of strange creatures, their glowing eyes still fixed on him. The tall, antlered leader motioned for Ethan to follow. The other creatures parted to create a path as they moved toward a more secluded part of the island.

The leader led Ethan to a small clearing surrounded by trees growing at odd angles. A soft light filtered through the leaves, casting an ethereal glow over the area. Once they were alone, the leader turned to face Ethan, its expression serious.

"My name is Faelan," the creature introduced himself, the regal tone in its voice matching its bearing. "You must understand that the challenge we face is not a simple one.
