Su Li
I am calling the only man I know who can help me in this situation thinking that he will help me. Qian Fan, a colleague of mine.
He is my good friend, and he is not picking up the phone.
I know it's kind of stupid of me to expect him to pick up the phone this late at night.
So I guess I don't have any options left. Do I?
I sighed. This has to be the most tiring day.
"Look," I say as if he is going to listen. I need to say it though. I don't know his status or anything, and after planning events, for the rich, I think no one can understand their moods.
So I don't know what kind of person I am dealing with.
I clear my throat. "I know you'd hate this and trust me I am not liking this a single bit." I might have liked it if the situation was different though. He has such a godly face. Anyone would have been curious about other things. But right now I am so exhausted to think of anything. Anyway, I continued, " I need to do this since I don't know how much you are injured."
'Phew.' That was easy. I mean it's not but after saying it feels easier. Not that this man has given his consent, but the situation calls for it.
After taking a long breath, I changed his clothes.
Well, except for a cut on the abdomen, I did not find any injury.
And if you are curious then I did not change his boxers. So yeah I did not get to see anything. Though whatever I saw was sexy as hell, I don't have the energy to appreciate it. Also, getting an unconscious man to change his clothes was a very tiring task.
I don't have any energy left.
I slump on my bed. I will think tomorrow of whatever happened today.

I woke up with a splitting headache only to find that I am at some unknown place.
'Shit.' Events from last night rushed into my head.
Yesterday someone spiked my food first and then a fight broke out.
All I could remember is I fainted during the fight, as for how I know they mixed something in my food because one of their people could not shut their mouth, they were feeling quite smug about it. Those bastards.
They must have been the people of J gang, a mafia, I guessed because I don't think someone else has the courage to fight me head-on.
I became a little careless. They would not have been able to harm me if I was careful.
I take in my surroundings. Even though the room is quite small it is clean and tidy.
I don't know where I am, but I am wearing some lousy pajamas.
Someone bandaged me, and from the way it looks, I really doubt that person's skill.
I walk out of this room trying my best to not frown.
Someone was cooking in the kitchen, I walked over quickly, I want to know what is happening before I lose my mind.
She turned over after sensing my presence.
I can tell she was surprised to see me by the shocked expression on her face.
"How are you feeling?" She asked me before I could say anything.
"I am good," I replied. Though it is the last thing that I would be.
So I am guessing that she saved me out of kindness. She must belong to the group of people who help everyone selflessly.
I think they are the dumbest people.
Anyway, she sort of saved me, I am guessing.
I can try not to be rude to her now. I can't promise about other times though. I am already trying to control my temper.
"Can you tell me what happened?" I ask as I try my best to look normal.
She tells me the whole incident. Her eyes become watery till the end, and my irritation only increases.
It seems like they instigated a car accident too. And I couldn't care less about the driver's death.
He betrayed me, he must have felt that he should become loyal to me at the last moment so that I won't do anything to his family. He already knew the fate that was awaiting him.
Anyway, he got away with an easier death, and he knew that. I would have made him regret being born otherwise.
As for why he refused her to take me to the hospital. It was because they could have ambushed me in the hospital if they got the news, and if my grandfather got to know about it he would have started worrying about everything, and that would be the last thing I would want.
It is very kind of her to offer help to someone who is a complete stranger to her, and even though I would not have died in that situation she did save me some trouble.
Even after telling myself over and over that she did a favor for me, I can not bring myself to appreciate that.
I have seen people breaking trust after years of relationship and she just let a stranger in her house.
It could be a criminal and he could easily take her life. Not like I am less than a criminal or I have not done something wrong.
I don't say that I am a kind person.
Anyway, she doesn't seem to know me. I would have appreciated that if it would have been at some other time since I won't be bothered
Right now it is bothering me though, as I don't know how I should act.
Everyone would come and suck up to me, so I never had to initiate a conversation, but now I don't know what to do.
I should thank her.
"Thank you," I say. If someone heard me they would be shocked to their death because I don't thank anyone. Never did, never had to actually. I don't sound thankful at all though, and she confirms that by suddenly frowning. Her eyes have become clear and they are beautiful.
What. Okay, So I think I have lost it already.
"It's fine." She says. I don't know if I am the only one but I think the atmosphere has become awkward.
I don't know what to say and I think she is in the same state as me.
We are basically strangers after all, what can you expect us to do?
"Can you give me your phone? I don't know where mine is, I can't seem to find it. I need to call someone. " I say breaking the awkward silence.
"Oh yeah, Of course, here," she says as she hands me her phone.
I call my assistant and inform him of my location after asking her the address and ask him to bring me my clothes too.
Every second I pass in wearing these, it gets more uncomfortable.
"I actually bought these pajamas for my dad if he comes over, but he didn't get the chance yet so they are new." She says.
I raise an eyebrow. I didn't ask her about them but she still explained.
Maybe she understood that I am uncomfortable with them or I am just reading too much into the matter.
I don't ask her who helped me change into them because I can already guess that by the way she is blushing.
"What's your name?" I ask.
"Su Li." She replied.
I nod.
"What's yours?" She asks me back.
"Qin Feng." If I wanted I could have gotten her details without asking her, but I wanted her to know my name. She owes me a favor and if she wants, she can ask me for help in the future. She might not have recognized me for now, not many people have seen me after all, but she should know my name.
She would be able to find me from this.
I don't offer her money because I know it will hurt her pride and she would say something like I didn't do that for money and all.
" I made chicken porridge for you. I don't know the extent of your injury so I thought some light breakfast would be good for your stomach. " She said.
Now that's not something you would do for a stranger. And I am not taking in this gesture. She needs to know that I am not amiable at all.
I have been trying my best to act nicely from the past few minutes.
"I don't eat in a stranger's house." That came out ruder than I intended.
I can see that my words hurt her because her expression became sad but it became normal the next instant.
We are engulfed in that awkward silence again but not for long as my assistant comes with a suit and breakfast for me.
She might think that I am very bad, which I am so I don't intend on changing that impression at all.
My assistant Mo Yang was thanking her over and over again and trying his best to please her which I think she is hardly buying.
I change my clothes in the room I slept in and go back with my assistant after trying to say a polite goodbye.
