"Okay." Niva just nods in front when he sees the full picture of the receipt. As he cannot object to what kind of requirement that the offensive class needs. He just assumes that he knows what he is doing, looking back at his current level.
Meanwhile, Lynel too does not object to what is written in the receipt.
"Is 800 Volvalen enough for other items?" whispers Niva as he wants to know if the offensive class needs other supplementary items.
"This is enough. we have got enough potion for my own survival. In addition to Lula's [Doctor] role for quick potion making, your [Bard] role for our buffs. And don't forget how tanky Lula's compfreund is. it will make a budget-friendly party," declares Lynel somewhat smiling.
'Hmm maybe I am a bit overthinking.' Thought Niva. He just asked a level 5 [Tracker] with ample amount of experience. It has been one year since Niva got his slate. If only he could sit still in his palace and learn truthfully from the royals assigned teacher for [Bard], he might not be under leveled in terms of class.
Offensive class is more difficult when it comes to leveling progression. They need to face life threatening danger and overcome it. And also, It is not about killing weak Faroo's continent beasts. It is also about your offensive skill proficiency, mental training, and the most important one: physical training. And all three are straightforward and correlate to dungeon exploring.
Niva concludes that his friend has finished his spending.
"There are some items I want to buy first for my bardly needs," whispers Niva before the transaction concludes.
"Sure, go ahead. Item shops are left of here," guides Lynel briefly. "But after we buy the weapons."
'Yeah you don't have to tell me that, this place has not really changed that much since I came here 4 years ago.' Niva is somewhat still treated like that kind of person that needs tour guidance.
The blue haired boy just silently looks at his friend packing up things from the purchases. Niva is not the type of person that willingly lends a hand to someone that does not seem to need it. Unless the said person asks.
Niva grabs the dagger and a free pouch to insert the weapon. They then went into the item shop.
"Pack of soothing candy mint please!" asks Niva to the cashier as he does not spend unnecessary time to locate what item he needs.
He then pays and departs quickly to the underground headquarters.
"Have you bought enough?" asks Cynthia, approaching us at the same time as we initially will do.
Lynel quickly grabs her wooden watchguard armor and drags her to a separate room. Cynthia resists but to no avail. The blonde haired boy looks pretty serious.
Things will get heated from now on if Niva thinks what Lynel is about to say in that room.
"Have you prepared the medicine and EP potion?" asks a concerned Niva as he builds up his courage to tell the carriage bizarre experience.
"Sure, It is in my backpack." Lula's index finger points to the three bags neatly lined up on the floor.
"Ok." He already invested a large amount of trust in her. She has helped a lot From the very first time she wakes up in this village. She helped Niva tending Krilo's wound even though the compfreund could not regenerate.
She took care of me first when he woke up. Even when she told me that Fergus took care of us first by renting a building. Niva doesn't know how he did that. Though, Lula did not know why he suddenly left us in the first place. He disappeared the moment Niva woke up.
Completely disregard her convict background.
"There is something I wanted to tell you. We have been compromised by The Order."
"What?! How? You two did not search for trouble, did you?" Niva can tell she is seriously angry but she is not 'you should not have done this, you should not have done that' type of person.
Niva then tells his experience meeting [Soul Reader] and The Holy Order's plans. Resulting in mostly awe and confused Lula.
"[Soul Reader]?" Lula seems to have never heard of the class from the sound of it. "It is almost like the opposite of [Fortune Teller] class but stronger in its own nature. Wait, you said that she can read minds too?"
"Well, yeah." Niva shrugs. It sounds strange when someone else concludes what just happened.
"You said that she immediately points at you. But how does she know you from a distance? Especially behind the curtain?"
"No idea." Niva shakes his head, seemingly giving up.
'Either if she is that powerful or someone informed her prior to the event.' Aimless deduction should be kept on himself first before any actual proof.
"Lula, After saving Krilo, if you may, can you go with us outside Faroo?" Niva's pupils enlarged. He immediately has to think about the needs for someone other than him. Just like starting a family.
The thought of it blushes his cheeks. 'What the hell am I thinking?'
"Sure, my situation is not that different from you. Let's just survive together," smiles Lula.
Lula seems strangely agreeable. Pretty on the outside, reserved on the inside. In addition, a rather submissive character, the combination makes him even blushier. A female companion that does not object to the man's needs.
'Keep your heads above Niva. You are better than this.'
"Do you have a family you have to tend to?" asks Niva as he threads his words carefully.
Her expression instantly turns solemn. "Remember what I told you about in prison about the bastard that framed me? They somehow successfully rallied the population and burnt my home with my family member in it. Mom, dad, and lil sis."
A sense of guilty pleasure suddenly struck the part of his brain that is responsible for moral and attitude. He has to keep a concerned face and at the same time keep his mind intact against the damsel in distress scenario. A nosebleed might occur in no time.
Niva exhales slowly. Trying to calm his dirty excited mind. "What have you been framed with?"
The brown haired girl's eyes look to the upper corner. "Refuses to heal a bastard. A high ranking official that does nothing but rapes pretty girl in my village. The whole village turned a blind eye to the cases because of how charitable the bastard was."
