After continuing our journey for 2 more days we finally crossed the mountain. Crossing the big mountain was very rough, but somehow we managed and finally what lies in front of us is the Elrica Town's gate.

'Finally I made it to a place where humans live'

In front us was a very massive door made of woods and had iron fitting. As I went near it I was stopped by the guards.

Thankfully Gerard and Natasha covered up for me and everything is alright.

After telling the guards about me and showing them the mercenary medallion. The guards calmed down and looked at me carefully. After looking at me from top to bottom they looked at each other and nodded.

"Your name is Leo, and you got separated from your companions because of sudden monster outbreak, right."

"Yes."

"What happen was truly unfortunate but can't be undone. However we can't let you inside without any identification card."

"Is there any alternative."

"You must pay 7 gold coins to make an identification card."

"I see, then please help me."

One of the guard nodded and took me inside a small reception office near the giant door after taking 5 gold coin it gave me a form to fill.

"I apologize but I am illiterate and I can't read and write."

The guard looked at me and finally gave out a sigh. After that he asked me my personal information which I obviously lied about.

After some time he took the paper and put it inside something like printer and in just a few seconds a card came out. And then he asked me to put a small drop of blood on the card. I did as he instructed and to my surprise after I put a drop of blood it started glowing.

"This is your card. Keep it safe. There are many tribe and nomads who don't have these identity card. And you look like one of them. Since we made this and took your blood we have already sent information about you and your blood to the authority. And it seems that this your first time having this card."

"Um information? Authority?"

"We use this in order to prevent people to forge fake identity."

Wait this body once belonged to Damien Hemington, how did he not found out that I was lying about my personal information all this time..

"Umm do every person possess these cards?"

"Yes except nobles, clergy-man and royals every other person possess these no matter rich or poor."

"Why does nobles, clergy-man and royals don't have these card."

"These card are only meant for commoners. Nobles have their own insignia or medallions to identify themselves."

"Why?"

"Well, because nobles, clergy-man and royals hate to use something that is used by the commoners. So they have their own identity. Maybe because they wish to show that they are different from the others."

"I see."

Saying that I exited the reception hall and was greeted by Gerard and Natasha. As they were looking at me I took out my newly forged identity card and showed it to them.

Seeing the card the nodded.

"Well, we are going to mercenary guild now and complete the quest for which we came here."

"I understand, once again thank you very much for helping me."

"Yes I hope we meet again."

'No absolutely not, I don't wish to meet you at all. I am sorry but no.'

Obviously I thought that in my mind. I will be seen as an idiot if I said that straight to their face.

After some more pleasantries we waited for the giant door to open and finally we 3 went on our way.

"Elrica Town. Finally I arrived here after so much trouble. Heck yeah."
