Chapter 232 AFTER PARTY 1

"Do you want to leave now?" Lou asked her daughter, "No you go ahead, we have an after-party I need a spot to change my dress." She darted her gaze around searching for the perfect place since the entire school was filled with people. "Come, I'll find the perfect place for you." Lou escorted her to a corner which seemed awkward but she quickly changed into something simple, something nice but screamed party.

"You look so beautiful my love." Lou complimented, "You shouldn't have gotten me married to that man." "Elsa... Don't say that you might be a bit disappointed that he wasn't here but you know Liam has been the best man there is for you." She rubbed her cheek. "He's not!" She said sternly and walked away. Lou wished she could explain things better to her, but Elsa seemed so irritated at the time.

"Make sure you get back home before (ten) 10 pm." She nodded as they both walked out of the place. "Let's go." Lou tapped Antonio's shoulder who hasn't escaped the gaze of Donovan, it was nice seeing his old friend again, only that this time, they were no longer friends. He regretted what it was he did to the girl, forcing her to marry his second son at her weakest point was not right. Before his very eyes, his once peaceful family is all gone.

He disowned Liam from being his son the last time they met, what hurt him the most was that he didn't even care rather said he's never been his son to him. For some reason, he loved Rafael better, for some reason he wanted Rafael to succeed him and not Liam. For the same reason, he's willed his entire fortune to Rafael cutting all support from Liam. He knew he's created the monster left in his son, and the only person that makes him feel like a human is the little girl smiling at his daughter.

They predicted he wouldn't be here today, it's his thing to miss an important event, he's a workaholic and would pick his work over anything else, but couldn't he have done it for her??

"You should be ashamed you're harboring a married woman in your mansion Louisiana." Maisha walked up to Lou. While they tried to convince Jesse civilly about coming back, she blandly refused to comprehend. Maisha and the rest believed she's been manipulated by the Lewinsky's. "What can I do? She's my daughter's best friend and also like a daughter to me."

She went on to say, "Your daughter is scared of going back to that man, don't force her she hasn't healed from her previous experience." Jesse had confined Lou when she couldn't take it anymore, every day her mum kept on calling threatening her with different things, but she had to stand her ground. She's 18 and an adult now, she has the right to make her own decisions which is definitely not going back to Ethan.

Lou had to talk to the girl to realize she has been going through a lot. She was in the stage of depression and only found comfort close to her best friend, cause that's the only person that gets her. One thing she'd always advise people not to do was get into toxic relationships or marriages, they're the worst things to do.

Ethan doesn't look like one who's ready to get married but has been forced and threatened to do so. Jesse's feelings for him are genuine, and unfortunately, this toxic man is her first love, one she'd never forget for the rest of her life even if she finds the ONE. People might lie to themselves, but the feelings of a first love never die.

Maisha turned red in anger, one could imagine invisible smoke evaporating out of her head, if she's given a chance she could pounce on Lou at that moment. They all left the girls behind after the graduation, Lou and Antonio took Elsa's gift back to the mansion. It is unhealthy for them to even stay out for long, especially with the news flying around.

"She's set out for her after-party sir." He nodded at Alan's words placing his head backward on the comfortable seat on his jet, he hopes Brietbart's call and party were for something profitable, else, he'd be so angry with him. It's only been a week and the things he's covered for his upcoming project were not a quarter of what needed to be done. He might have told his wife it'll take months, but it seems things are getting to years.

Whatever the case may be, it's best for her, at least now he will not be the reason for her not focusing on her school stuff. He'd not be scared of her getting pregnant for him one day cause of how he gets out of control when he's with her. He smiled just thinking of her even if he knew she'd be very upset with him.

He would try apologizing later and make sure she forgives him, an angry wife can cause havoc in the entire city especially when she's doing it to get attention from him. That woman is so underestimated by everyone and he simply doesn't understand why.

They arrived at the city, and Liam stepped out of the jet terminal in a black convoy, this time his arrival was totally different from the usual sports cars and unnecessary perception or little show-off, he was here for business not his usual luxurious life. He wondered who Brietbart has chosen to be his successor this time, but it could be possible the man actually has a daughter cause of his flirtatious lifestyle.

Liam and his assistants stepped out of his car along with a few guards, Yhunn Lee is a man of class and power and would not like his mansion filled with superfluous bodyguards. Poor people irritate him more than ever. They all strode to the entrance of the mansion, "Mr. Black." He was interrupted by a man, one he's never seen before. He met the man's gaze with raised brow asking the obvious question with his cold eyes. "Who are you?" Harbetto finally understood this man's gaze after a few seconds went by, he smiled...

"It's okay if you don't know me, we wouldn't..." "My Whyte." Alan greeted the last thing they wanted was a surprise from an enemy, he was not there that day but from what Carlos had explained, this man had threatened his boss to get his revenge. His boss should know him in person to be aware of who he's dealing with. The air seemed to have gotten chilly as his face got darker, seeing a man who has just become an enemy is the last thing he needed but he had to deal with it.

"You should talk to your servants to keep shut when men are talking." Harbetto started but the man before him said nothing else and stepped in with an indifferent face. He loved actions more than words, that's how he's always lived his life, the only person that has made him talk more is his little wife, the one who brings up a side of him he isn't yet aware of.

Hazel heaved for breath highly and finally became conscious from her two days coma, her lashes quivered as her eyes tried to adjust to the bright light reflecting on them. Slowly her blurry vision turned normal and she could see her environment.

She darted her gaze around wondering where she was and why there were lots of medical equipment in the room. Hazel quickly touched her tummy which felt empty, she could no longer feel her six(6) months growing child in there anymore. She got scared and tried to stand up, "Ahhh!"...

A moan could be held from her lips due to the unexplainable pain she felt in her abdomen. She sipped the air attempting to stand again but her entire body felt weak like she was paralyzed that had her crying, for the first five seconds of her recovery she tried to regain her consciousness, telling herself this is not real and that she was in a terrible dream and needs to wake up.

She laid back on the bed gathering her thoughts and slowly, she recalled everything that happened that day. They took her away after seeing Dax who acted like he didn't know who she was. "Oh Hazel, you're awake?" A woman in a white jacket stepped in with one of the sweetest smiles she's ever seen.

For some seconds she got the girl wondering if she was an angel, but she knew this was not some kind of dream or imaginary stuff but rather her reality, even if she's got to understand what had happened. What if she's had her child prematurely cause of stress, there's no way she'd have a miscarriage at this stage, different confusing thoughts ran through her head all at once.

"What am I doing here and where's my baby? Why can't I feel her?" Hazel cried staring at the woman before her, she knew something was wrong, they'd done something to her child.

Jackie's smile still graced her lips perfectly, "Well I'm your doctor Hazel, your baby was taken out of you two days ago and we've been awaiting your recovery before taking out your womb according to the instruction given." "No! No! No! No!" Hazel cried, still doubting the woman's words even if she knew she was right.

Jackie stared at the girl crying helplessly on the bed, it's not the first time Maisha has asked for this in every woman she sees with her son. One thing she couldn't understand was why he kept having sex with girls below his standard.
