Newfound friend

Whiro is in the border of the fairies territory harvesting materials and food.

When he noticed something on the ground.

He parted the grass around it with his left hand while slowly reaching it with his right hand.

In his mind he thought that he never saw anything like it before. Not even from the books in his treasure room.

He grabbed it gently and looked at it and it was beaten and weak.

Whiro then looked around to figure out what caused it to be so beaten and nothing was around other than the animals and beasts in the area but most of them are running around doing their own thing.

So he gently put it to his pocket. Not on his bag full of materials and food.

He went back to the witch's house and he started to put away everything. He then reached into his pocket and set the thing down to a table.

It has red wings elongated ears and is very small. It's body is covered in bruises and cuts and it's leg is broken.

Whiro then went to sleep due to his stamina running out he's been out for 8 hrs while constantly using magic for training.

In his treasure room he began to write newly found information and sketches of unknown species.

For the whole duration of his sleep he managed to make healing potions, stamina potions, poisons and create spell for healing.

These things is also part of the preparation to search for the witch but destiny proves it's power to intersect others to other.

Whiro then got up from his sleep straight to the thing. He noticed that it moved from where he placed it and this thing is making noises he's never heard before.

He picked it up again and they made eye contact. It was moving less and gave Whiro a defeated look. Whiro then started caressing it's head and chanted the spell 'heal' and some of it's wounds cleared up but not fully. He chanted again but this time with a different construct, he said 'higher heal' and the thing got up and flew around filled with energy.

It was happy to be healed by Whiro and it stopped flying around to hover in front of him.

Whiro is also happy that he made someone happy for the very first time in his life.

The fairy then sprinkled hallucinating dust to Whiro.

In the hallucinations the fairy taught Whiro their language by condensing all the runes and shooting it directly to Whiro's consciousness.

The runes went in to his eyes in spiral fashion.

Whiro thought it was gonna hurt but it didn't and an explosion of knowledge about their language came bursting in his brain.

Then a few seconds after that he woke up from the hallucinations and the fairy was still hovering on the same spot.

Whiro's first words to the fairy was 'how are you feeling?'

The fairy was amazed on how pure this kid was.

Fairies lived for 200 yrs max unless they're royalty which can live up to 700 yrs.

She never saw anybody asked that question in that kind of setting.

She responded 'honestly, I'm hungry.'

Whiro then laughed and said 'I have food but cooking it might take a second'

She responded with 'okay'

So while Whiro was cooking he asked her what kind of food she can eat and all sorts of innocent questions.

They got along fine. Especially with the fact they both would eat anything.

At the 5 hr mark of Whiro being wide awake he told her his name and the history behind it.

And she also introduced herself to Whiro

' hi my name is Kira, I am casted out by my family and kingdom. They don't like that I'm red in color. At first they would ignore me. But whenever someone is frustrated they would lay it on me and use me as their target. It got worse and worse until one day I found myself at your table.' And then she started crying. Whiro patted her head and said 'it's okay, you're ok, you'll be fine, it's okay'

And she finally dropped in tears and anger. ' they killed my grandma *sob* she gave me my name. They killed her while she was telling me to run' and she grew a red horn while in the state of rage and anger.

A dark miasma came out her body and her eyes rolled out. She was in this state for 30min. She almost went berserk but thanks to Whiro casting a spell 'dimensional barrier'

Her tantrums didn't cause a single damage to the place. She then gradually came to her senses and Whiro said 'barrier release'

Whiro then told her that he will sleep soon and that she should stay and can eat anything he has. Whiro then went to bed and slept leaving Kira to run her thoughts on things especially on how to move forward.

It made sense to her to stay since Whiro had been nice to her and is by himself and she also has nowhere to go. So after thinking about it she decided to be with Whiro for the rest of her life. Kira landed right to Whiro's hand and slept there right next to him.
