To darkness pt2

Whiro finally had enough waiting.

She is the only thing he ever had that's not interacting with him with malice.

Even after everything she had done he knew that it was out of curiosity and passion.

The evidence of this shows on the notes she had ever taken from when he was picked up all the way up to where she stopped doing research.

He read all the materials and knowledge the witch made and he kept it in his library.

He calls his library 'the treasure room'.

In there he can materialize things and make sense of a word or even the whole book.

In one of the books he picked up was a grimoire.

The grimoire explained everything about magic and the secrets of the natural world.

In there written: the source code that shapes reality.

So he tried to manifest this in his dream only to crack and solve the programming of power.

However even with the knowledge he has with it, he can only use certain portion of it due to the fact that he's still a baby.

Whiro then started experimenting with his newly found power.

He tried out spells which are words converted into their physical manifestation form.

Whiro will say ' fire'. And fire would come out.

But using this method makes the fire last only for no more than 5 seconds.

Sometimes it won't even work.

He learned that every words needs an action to where it can manifest.

Whiro raised his hand and said: 'fire'.

The fire burned for more than 1 minute.

He then added a verb right before the spell.

So he said: 'eternal fire' and it lasted forever.

The only way for him to stop it is with another word. 'Stop burning'.

He wondered why it was easy for him to construct and create spells.

Then he remembered all the experiments he had. To his surprise everything that the witch did to Whiro are all for the sake of making him strong enough to live with her.

His DNA can withstand most but not all diseases and viruses. His insides is tweaked for survival. His bones, replaced with dragon bones from her treasures. And the key to all of this is his heart.

She called it 'The last heart'. Which has unknown origins.

He finally organized a routine to where he can consistently learn and grow stronger.

On the times where he's wide awake he will make recipes and food preparation.

However the amount is too heavy and too inconvenient for him to carry.

On the times where he's snoozing he will specifically read the grimoire in pair with a different book to see if it will compliment each other.

Grimoire X history.

So on and so forth.

Midway through the process he realized that magic is applied everywhere.

He unknowingly obtained magic wisdom.

It is a skill that evolves from time to time and grows together with him.

At the age of 4 he ventured outside the witch's territory and made sure to gain more knowledge before he sets out.

He's been fighting the chimeras and a few rebellious ones that are trying to pass over the witch's gate.

There's also a few that's been friendly with Whiro and those bunch are the strongest ones.

One of them is called kassadi who is 8ft tall and larger than ordinary chimera this guy have 4 arms that came from different species and torso of a giant.

Kassadi would pick up Whiro everytime and say hi and would slowly set him down.

After kassadi is a guy that looks like a humanoid mantis with multiple legs and scythe hands. His height is 4ft and is more agile than the other chimeras.

His name is Raghu.

Raghu is just fascinated on Whiro's power and has been adoring him since they first met.

There is also a twin that looks like zombies and they're both very skinny and slouchy.

They move in a dragging manner but they're also very fast. This two stand at 5.5 ft high and are the most vicious in the whole crowd. Their names are mistic and caustic.

They lost to Whiro so they begged for mercy and since then they both loved to see Whiro around.

The last one is a half spider half human and Her body produces mini spiders every year and this is what made her one of the strongest chimera in middle earth. She located herself on top of the trees and infested a good portion of the forest with webs and spiders. Her height is 7ft and her name is kirri.

These chimeras can reproduce depending on wether they have mates or they have their own reproduction method. Chimeras have their own territory and it wraps close to the witch's gate.

The reason why they can't go further is because of the beasts and animals and other habitants of the middle earth. Though they are freakishly strong in their own ways they are no match to the original habitants of that area.

One of them are the fairies.

They are small, fast and ruthless.

These fairies are not cute in the slightest and they have another name. The piranhas of the forest. They'll spare no flesh and bones and will also cast their magic called hallucination dust. The hallucinations will depend on how they want you to die. They own a quarter of the middle earth and they live in a parallel dimension that only opens up in middle earth. The fairies are the only ones that can open and close the transparent hole.

They would only allow animals to roam their territory due to their natural affinity to animals and nature.

Whiro hasn't had the chance to meet them due to one of his affinity which is nature. He's not a threat to them and they know how much damage Whiro can do before they can kill him.

So their solution is to let him roam around.

Whiro knows they exist from one of the books the witch left behind.

Whiro would go to their territory to harvest mushrooms and plants.
