— "What power." — Sido quickly walked away and with some admiration began to look around the smoking barrel after the shot, but he quickly realized that there were a lot of infected people around.

— "A-a-a, no, help me!" — a woman without an arm screamed in an unsuccessful attempt to grab the pant leg of the one who had just shot her. From the shock, she still did not understand that she was finished, since she had already been bitten several times, and blood was gushing from the severed stump.

— "Fuck you." — he hit her in the face with his foot and with a smile continued to watch her start to bite... and then looked in my direction and pointed the barrel of a sawn-off shotgun at me. There were seven meters between us, so I didn't have time to dodge the shot, and Koichi himself was clearly determined to kill me. Fortunately, one of the biker's hangers-on was nearby and I managed to cover myself with his body, but the burning pain in my arm and chest still made me clench my teeth. After that, I immediately went to the transport that was already occupied by the infected. Takashi, along with Saeko, Rei and his sister, stood near the door and killed the infected walking towards them. During these minutes, the infected really accumulated quite a few, especially on the road. They climbed over some cars and walked slowly towards the commotion. One-on-one against an undaunted person, they do not pose a danger, unless, of course, you are very stupid and do not rush into their teeth yourself. But when there are so many of them, it already becomes a serious danger, they literally bring you down like an avalanche.

— "What were those shots? Are you hurt?" — Alicia asked worriedly, trying to make sure with a quick inspection that everything was fine with me... until she noticed the hand and the bloody chest. — "Bro …"

—" I'll move the car, and you go straight ahead." — I made a decision and jumped out through the still open door. There were shouts of my name, but I was no longer listening, as I was quickly approaching the car, scattering the infected with a sword that I picked up from the seat. But because of the bleeding, the sword handle became slippery, so it was easier to just run past the infected. When I reached the car, I immediately grabbed the back of it where the trunk is located and lifted it, and then began to move it to the side, parallel to the road, clearing the way for the bus.

—" Damn it." — I felt someone's cold hands grabbing me, and with my vision I already realized that the infected person was too close. Literally two meters away from me there were already dozens of infected, and one of the most agile of them was even closer, behind me. I already felt a certain weakness in my body, a strange sensation for me, which I do not remember before. Especially a high fever. But I still had enough physical strength and speed to push him away, and then I managed to climb onto the roof of the car. — "Drive by and I'll jump on the roof!" — I shouted to Shizuka, I'm not sure she heard me, but driving by she stopped, giving me the opportunity to jump on the roof of the transport.

When I moved the car, the bus was able to pass between the overturned fire truck and the building without any problems, and the crowds of infected people attracted by the shots were left behind. But now when I started to calm down and the adrenaline in my blood stopped pressing so hard on my consciousness, I felt a tingling pain in my arm, but not where the shot hit…

—" Really?" — I said hoarsely, looking at the bite mark of human teeth. Apparently, because of the adrenaline, I didn't feel the bite, and because of the large number of infected people, I didn't even notice it in time, as I was focused on the task of clearing the way for the bus. The bite site throbbed with pain, and around the wound, veins and small capillaries with vessels began to shine through the white skin with some dark shade.

Moreover, I have not seen such visual changes in other infected people, which is very strange ... but I am now worried about something else. My family and close people, will they be able to protect themselves without me? Most likely ... uncle and father, and Alex himself, are more or less prepared for this and they have a lot of food in stock, as well as weapons. Yes, and there are also loyal people. I'm only one, even if a little stronger than an ordinary person, but against a huge crowd it's nothing... now I clearly felt it. Ten people? It is still quite possible to win, but a hundred? They'll just trample it down and not notice.

— "Felix! You do something so crazy again and I'll be really mad at you!" — the voice of a very dissatisfied sister was heard. After a couple of minutes, we drove out onto the road to our mansion and Shizuka stopped, most likely to let me into the salon. While we were driving, I saw some roads clogged with cars, so I was lucky that at least one road was more or less free. It takes about twenty minutes to get to our house at a not too fast speed.

Alicia herself really looked unhappy, to match her voice. Jumping off the bus, I was just admiring her, my little sister... I hope everything will be fine with her.

— "Are you all right?" — Saeko obviously felt something, throwing an excited look at me.

— "Felix! Let's go inside, suddenly these infected will come from outside!" — raising her voice, Saya said. —" Although after those bastards it became clear that they are not the only main problem."
