What will the future hold for her? ------------------------------------------------------------ "Stop!" she said to him. "First, tell me how do you know about these things." "You don't believe me, do you?" he asked her. The Miscommunications

"It's nothing," Merry said getting up. "Let's go back to the dorm. Everyone has gone already."

Cole hadn't even noticed others leaving the canteen until Merry mentioned it. How could he? He was totally engrossed in the conversation with Merry.

"Yeah, let's go. But I am not done talking so you can't change the subject. I can clearly see something is bothering you." Cole also stood up and followed Merry.

"It's just that I had been talking to Mrs. Millers for some time about my powers. It doesn't look good. I might never be able to have powers like you guys."

Merry sat down on the couch as soon as she set foot in the living room.

"What did Mrs. Millers say?" Cole kept her company and continued the conversation. He genuinely wanted to hear Merry's concerns.

"She said that there's nothing wrong with me physically. The problem is of psychological nature so I have no idea how am I going to solve it."

"Didn't she suggest any treatment plans?"
