Coffee

She checked the bathroom immediately after Tyler left her room. The bathroom was quite big, there were two sinks but one bathtub, shower and toilet. A black and white colored marble was used for the walls and floors. It was a modern design bathroom. She sighed as she looked at the door on the other side. That guy… Did he plan this?! She smiled sarcastically before leaving the bathroom. She thought that maybe there was another room in this unit but shyness attacked her system at the thought that Tyler only let her stay here because of their agreement so basically, she was just a guest here. 

She went out to her room and proceeded to the living room. Tyler was not there anymore as well as his laptop. Maybe, he went to his room to continue his work. She just hoped that Tyler would use the bathroom immediately so she could use it, too. She was just being careful, a man and a woman living on the same roof… was not that safe. Other than that, there were both singles, well, she is, she does not know if Tyler… is single. With that thought, Lanie became curious at this. Is he still single or did he have a girlfriend? Or maybe, flings? Or… fuck buddy? Lanie blushed at that thought and slightly shook her head. What was she thinking? Why did she care about his lovelife or even sex life? Of course, a man like him has his needs, too. He was also a very damn looking guy so she bet girls were willing to throw themselves on him. And maybe he bedded different women already. She bit her lower lip and closed her eyes. Her naughty thoughts were messing her head and her vision of him. She should stop that. They were on the same roof, she would see him more often and she can't bear to see some flashing images of Tyler and his girls doing something wherever she will look at him. 

To avoid herself thinking about these things, she just decided to browse on her phone. There were some messages from her friends, saying their thanks again. And then, there was Jake's message that remained unseen. She sighed and exited the message app and checked her social media account instead. When she became bored, she stood up and went to the kitchen to check if there were some snacks there. She saw a jar of cookies on the kitchen cabinet. She also got fresh milk. It's almost midnight. She was a bit tired and sleepy but she needed to take a bath because she felt sticky and dirty but she did not know if Tyler was already done using the bathroom or was he already asleep? 

After she was full, she brought back to the cabinet the jar of cookies. She also washed her glass. She walked towards her room but she stopped in front of Tyler's door. She was debating if she should knock to ask him if he was done taking shower or not. She moved closer to his door but she did not hear anything. Maybe he was already asleep?

She nodded and went inside her room. She threw herself on her as she moaned because of tiredness. She stayed like that for a while before deciding to get up and get her towel to take a shower. Before taking a shower, she checked if the door connected to Tyler's room was locked. After checking that it was locked, her eyes looked at the door knob suspiciously but she let that thought of her go as she took her bath. After she took her bath, she put on her pajamas and dried her hair. It's already one o'clock. She turned off the lights and went to the side table to turn on the lampshade instead before going to bed. She stared at the ceiling until she felt that sleep slowly pulling her. 

Lanie woke up to her alarm. Half asleep, she walked like a drunk woman to the bathroom with her left eye closed and messy hair. She walked straight to the toilet. After that, she went to the sink while scratching her head. She yawned before she bent down to wash her face. While her eyes closed, she reached for a face towel, tapping the wall until she reached the face towel until she got it but it was not hanging on the wall, she got it as if someone lent her that towel. She dried her face while looking up and saw her reflection and a man behind her who was darkly looking at her in the mirror. Oh, shit! She forgot that she was in Tyler's place and they shared one bathroom. Her eyes widened as she turned around. 

"Oh gosh! I-i am sorry! I didn't know you're using the bathroom!" she said, panicking. Instead of answering her, he just turned his back and walked to the shower. Lanie just noticed now that Tyler didn't have his shirt on that made his toned body exposed! He was only wearing his boxer shorts and a white towel hanging on his right shoulder. Tyler looked at her and raised her brow.

"What? Do you want to watch me take a bath or do you want to join me?" He said naughtily. Lanie immediately blushed. She quickly turned around and left him there. She even heard him laugh. Damn!

Lanie didn't bother to change her clothes since she was wearing her pajamas. She just brushed her hair and put on her cute headband. She also brought her toothbrush. She ended up brushing her teeth in the kitchen sink. While Tyler was taking his bath, she looked for something to eat for breakfast. She saw that there's a pancake mix in the cabinet so she got it and prepared it. She heated up the pan then put butter on it. When the butter was melted she put enough mixture in the pan. She repeated it until she finished cooking all the mixture she made. She made eight pieces of pancakes. Then, she also fried some eggs and bacon. 

While she was busy in the kitchen, Tyler finished his bath and took a look at Lanie. It seemed like Lanie did not notice him so he sat as he watched Lanie cook their breakfast. They looked like a couple. Lanie, who was still in her pajamas, was cooking breakfast while Tyler, who just finished his bath and now in his formal attire, was sitting while waiting for Lanie to finish cooking their breakfast.

  'What a sight' Tyler said in his mind as a smirk plastered in his lips while he watched Lanie. 

After finished, she turned around, holding a plate of pancakes and another plate of eggs and bacon on her other hand. She did not startled when she saw Tyler already sitting there. She knew that he was there because even though the smell of the food she was cooking was good, Tyler's cologne was ten times stronger than that. She placed the foods she cooked on the table before sitting down. There were already plates and utensils on the table, she prepared it while she waited for the pancakes to be cooked. 

"U-uhm, if you don't mind, I used your kitchen...and food. Don't worry! I will buy groceries, too!" she said. Tyler just lazily nodded then got himself breakfast. He actually doesn't mind if Lanie will use her kitchen. He will let her feel at home in his place for her to be used in this environment. Lanie suddenly stood up because she forgot to make coffee! She made coffee for Tyler while she got herself fresh milk. Tyler followed her moves as she put down a cup of coffee. He looked amused at her because no one made coffee for him without his order except her. He was still looking at Lanie who is now acting like she didn't do something and casually sat and started eating her breakfast. He took a sip of his coffee, he stopped for a moment because the coffee tasted so good even though the coffee she used was similar to the brand of coffee that his secretary used and he didn't know why.
