Chapter 21- Berk Village

Berk Island, Cliff of Raven

In the silent forest rested a man who in his fall from a height that a normal human would die, broke the trees and sank to the ground.

Not far from him was a completely black dragon that was wounded and immobilized due to some ropes tied to rocks that Hiccup had just released.

When Zagreus came to this world and at the same time the ..... was hit, it was around dawn and now it was starting to show signs of dawn when Zagreus starts to open his eyes.

The Demigod opened his eyes and sat up as he looked around in confusion, when the memories of the last few moments began to surface he got annoyed and said.

"Damn that Dragon bastard, I had just arrived drug."

He tries to get up but soon bends over due to the pain from the wound in his abdomen, Crimson-Gold blood seeping from his wound.

Zagreus then takes off his shirt revealing a body that seemed to have been sculpted by God Himself in the intention of making perfection and seems to have been successful, Zagreus wastes no time and then uses his Chi to close the wound and in less than a minute the wound is completely closed.

"Uhn? Looks like my abilities are stronger? This wound shouldn't heal so easily."

"Maybe this is where I am, let's take a look."

And he starts walking until he sees some broken trees and a big black body on the ground, he approaches and notices the strange creature breathing and then uses the Skill [Eye of the Wise].

'Holy shit, is this a Dragon? System you are wrong in this! What threw me here, that colossal monster and more than strong is a Dragon!! This one.....this is a lizard with wings.'

[Host, the System doesn't make mistakes! What's in front of you is yes a Dragon, but you can compare this to the other the Host saw, this Dragon in front of you doesn't know magic and hasn't discovered its true innate power, while the other has already discovered, trained, and is thousands of times older.]

'So he has the potential to reach that level doesn't he? Okay, but he's hurt, should I kill him soon?'

The closer Zagreus gets, the more this idea comes to his head, but when he's close enough, the Black Dragon opens his slit green eyes in place of pupils and looks at him.

Zagreus doesn't understand but when looking at this Dragon he saw himself in his eyes, he used the Skill [Eye of the Sage] to see if he could see the Dragon's feelings.

[Determination, Frustration, Fear.]

Zagreus continues to look at the Dragon and finally realizes that this Dragon remembers himself, when he was younger, and had just lost his mother, and was afraid of what was to come, he couldn't kill him so he decides to help him with his manner.

"Look you lizard with wings, I think you better fly away as soon as you free yourself, I don't want to talk to you too much so I don't change my mind."

The Dragon Warrior then uses his technique of giving Chi to heal the Dragon, with fluid and trained movements that he performs and finishes the technique, causing his palms and the Dragon to glow a light red color.

Zagreus still doesn't quite understand why his Chi has changed to this red color since the fight against Kai, but it seems to be more powerful and easier to use than ever, so he's not complaining.

Upon finishing healing the Dragon, Zagreus begins to cut the ropes using his claws while the Dragon who has just been healed is wide-eyed and confused about his situation.

Upon being released from its bonds, the Dragon slowly balances and begins to inspect himself, and especially his calf where he was feeling pain, when he finishes looking completely the Dragon looks at Zagreus with a cute expression that seems to be confused.

'System I can talk to him?'

[Yes Host, due to your Draco Blood, you can understand Dragons as long as they are rational.]

Soon a voice as if he were a teenager almost becoming an adult is heard in Zagreus' head.

(The words between the {} are the lines of the Toothless in Zagreus' mind)

{Why didn't you kill me? Even being human?}

Zagreus laughs at Dragon's question and even though he doesn't want to talk to him at first, he's not doing anything at the moment and decides to talk to someone from this world, maybe he can even help him find out more information about where he is.

"Yes, I'm like you. I'm part  Dragon, part father, my mother was human, or part human."

"I didn't kill you because I've already been in your place and I couldn't do that to you, but how I healed you, why don't you tell me where we are and if there's any place near here that has humans?"

The Black Dragon looks at Zagreus calmly and sits with his front paws up, looks very cute so he starts to say.

{A human settlement inhabits these islands, they call themselves the Vikings, it's very close to here. But I wouldn't advise a Dragon like us to go there, they can kill him, they always kill as soon as they see any Dragon whether aggressive or not.}

Zagreus nods his head in understanding and gets up to solve the problem with his appearance.

"You don't need to worry about me, I have this, which will help me hide my Dragon parts."

The Demigod pulls from his backpack he had just retrieved, a golden paper he used to make Talismans.

He starts drawing in the air with his bright red Chi with his newest ability [Magic Enchantment] and writes: 'Hide Dragon Traits'.

The words are merged into the paper that glows for a while, Zagreus smiles at his creation and looks at the Dragon who is even more confused.

{And what would that be?}

"Ohh, this is just one of my many Abilities, and by the way my name is Zagreus, do you have a name? Do you want me to give you one?"

Zagreus explains, introduces himself and finally asks the Black Dragon who was looking at him curiously.

{No, I'm fine like that. But what does this have to do with hiding?}

"Just watch my winged friend, watch and be amazed by it."

The Demigod finishes speaking with a smile on his face and directs his Chi towards the Talisman that starts to glow red, he then throws it forward and the paper disintegrates and only the letters that turned into strange symbols remain, they grow until become the size of Zagreus and finally moves towards him.

As the letters and symbols pass through Zagreus' body the change begins to take place in his body, his horns and scales disappear and the slit in his golden eye is replaced by a normal pupil.

Zagreus now if we take away the heterochromatic eyes that remained even after using the Talisman, he appears to be a normal 15 year old and quite strong, with his 5.4 feet tall and his swimmer-style athletic physique.

The Black Dragon is even more confused by the "Human" in front of him, it looked like he was close to one of his race, as if it was his family, but it was still disconcerting his appearance with the feeling he gave off.

His thought is soon interrupted by a voice near the pair.

"Arrrgh, the Gods hate me. There are people who lose their knife, or their shield. But not me, I can lose an entire Dragon."

Zagreus looks in the direction of the voice and hears light footsteps coming from that direction.

"I think that..."

Zagreus was going to say looking at the Dragon to leave but when he looks for him he only sees a black and fast figure flying away.

"Slight lizard."

Zagreus said with a mocking smile to the Dragon and heard the voice again now closer.

"Errr, hello, who are you?"

Said the slight boy to Zagreus with curiosity as he was looking for a Dragon and found him.

"My name is Zagreus, I assume you live here in..."

"Berk?"

Zagreus gives the boy a nod of understanding and continues to say.

"Yes yes Berk, I don't have any calls to stay and I wonder if I can talk to your leader or something?"

"Talk to my dad?"

The boy was a little incredulous about Zagreus but seeing the state of his clothes and the fact that he is a little too naive boy despite being very smart.

"Alright, I was doing my morning walks you know, so I was heading back to the village now, come on I'll take you to him."

The boy tries to show the muscles of his arms contracting them, to disguise his true objective which was to look for the ...

"And by the way, my name is Hiccup."

Zagreus, upon hearing the boy speak, soon decides to use his Skill more than useful [Eye of the Wise].

Zagreus nods, dons what's left of his white kimono and puts on his black cloak with a golden dragon, and follows Hiccup back to the village.

On the way to the village, Hiccup, who was curious, finally asks Zagreus.

"So Zagreus, where are you from?"

"I'm not from a fixed place, since my mother died I don't have a place to call home."

Zagreus didn't want to tell him that he had just been hit by a continent-sized Dragon in another world and ended up here, so he told a half-truth.

Hiccup, being the confident and naive boy that he is, seeing Zagreus' expression of sadness, pities that he lost his mother when he was a baby.

"I'm sorry about that, if it counts, I lost my mother too, when I was a baby, I can barely remember her face, I'm glad I had my father who helped me all these years, in his way of course."

Hiccup said sadly, remembering his mother and how his father was not proud of him or at least did not show it.

"I would be happy if I were you, my father never once showed his face, he abandoned me and my mother, even if your father doesn't show it, he should be proud of you as long as you are sincere."

Zagreus said something his mother always told him, she was a very kind and considerate woman with him, he respected kindness and the people who practice it, but he did not consider himself a kind person and quite the contrary, he considered himself a selfish person and prided himself on it, every human being at heart is selfish and the only difference between him and others is that he is sincere about his will.

He always did what he felt like, never pretended to be good when he didn't want to or when he felt the person didn't deserve his kindness.

Hiccup was thoughtful the rest of the way, he realized that maybe he was a bad son to his father but he couldn't help it, he felt he couldn't be what his father wanted so he always found alternative ways to get there.

Upon arriving in the village, Zagreus realizes that the place seemed to have been attacked, the houses were destroyed and there was fire in some, but he could still see that the houses were well built and resistant to stand even with such damage, injured people being treated and an Elder woman applying herbs to the wounds of some.

Zagreus decides to help them get into their good books and approaches them as he says.

"Excuse me ma'am, would you allow me to help with this?"

The Crone looks at Zagreus with half-open eyes in suspicion for not knowing the young man, but decides to give him the benefit of the doubt as it would be unwise to start an attack on a wounded man in the middle of a Viking village.

Zagreus seeing the Elder's affirmation begins to perform the technique of giving the Chi and the bodies of the wounded around begin to glow and a feeling of heat and euphoria invades their bodies and in a short time, all external injuries and even some old and hidden injuries have been completely healed.

Hiccup, who was on the side watching what Zagreus would do, is shocked with the development of the situation and the five teenagers were even more so.They were curious about the boy who by his face looked of similar age as them and was able to do Such things.

The Elder looks at Zagreus with wide eyes and the people around her begin to speak.

"By the beard of Odin, did Odin himself take pity on us and send him to help us?"

In similar phrases to each other, Zagreus bows slightly and returns to a shocked Hiccup who continues to guide him to his father.

Upon leaving Zagreus, all the questions and gossip increased more and more, even some Vikings said he was the son of Odin, was one of the only explanations to explain this event.
