CHAPTER - 8 { Fight For Lives }

Suddenly, Big Hall had turned into a mess as everyone was panicking.

"What's going on? I am feeling sleepy."

"Mama! I want to go home!"

Ferry took out his handkerchief and with it he covered his nose and mouth.

"Electabuzz!"

Shaking his head, Electabuzz looked in one direction where he felt danger approaching.

"Don't attack! You might miss and hurt the celebrities!"

Said Ferry, he wanted to get out of this Hall but Kota already mentioned that the doors are all locked.

"Just act like you are asleep. Pokemons will not be affected by the gas."

With no other choice, Kota laid his body on the sofa and acted as if he had fallen asleep.

"Okay."

Ferry also followed behind Kota while Electabuzz guarded them.

As a minute passed away, the Hall had now become extremely silent.

Only a few pokemon shouts and cries were heard. Then, the light in the Hall came back.

"Brutal, you have the list. Every name there must be brought to the cargos. And don't miss the chance of taking some rare pokemon with you."

With a bald head, a very tall and muscular man in a green army suit ordered.

"Yes, sir!"

The one who answered was a young man named Brutal, he turned to look around the Hall.

All the celebrities and the fans as well as the workers were asleep.

"Grunts, loot them up! I will take some names, carry them to the cargos!"

Brutal said, he then read the names one after another while keeping an eye on the Grunts.

"Ferry Islary! Skotadi Zaiaku! Please Hemsworth!"

Soon, familiar names came out making the awake Ferry tensed.

"What do we do?"

With a very low voice, Ferry asked Kota. But he didn't get an immediate reply.

"Electabuzz!"

When two Grunts came towards Ferry and Kota, Electabuzz stood and defended.

"Damn pokemon! Go Raticate! Bite!"

But before the Raticate could even settle down, a punch landed on its body that was covered with sparks.

Thunder Punch!

"Raticate!"

Due to the sudden attack, Raticate suffered a serious injury and was unable to fight any longer.

"Idiot! Useless Pokemon!"

"Let me handle this!"

As the Grunt who owned the Raticate was defeated with a single move. The other one came forward to fight Electabuzz.

"Arbok, knock it out! Belch!"

Coming out of the pokeball was a huge snake-like creature with long fangs.

Arbok, a poison-type pokemon. It is very famous amongst the bad guys because of its poison.

"Saba!"

Opening its mouth wide, Arbok let out a cry that was mixed with loads of poison gas.

"Electabuzz!"

Unable to escape the gas and the cry, Electabuzz suffered from poisoning.

"I can't take it anymore!"

Ferry immediately stood up, surprising the Grunts and Brutal.

"I said to wait!"

Kota grinded his teeth and stood up as well. He then looked at the Grunts that were kidnapping some celebrities.

"Gengar, follow them."

Kota said very slowly while throwing out a small device from his pocket at his shadow.

"Gengar!"

In Kota's shadow, a grinning face appeared as it caught the device and vanished.

"You! How did you avoid the gas!"

Brutal glared at Ferry and Kota while pulling out a pokeball from his waist belt.

"Capture them! I don't want to get lectured by Executive!"

Ordered Brutal, he threw the pokeball from which came out a dog-like creature.

"Arcanine!"

Arcanine, a fire type pokemon. It's the next evolution of Growlithe.

'How do I deal with them without hurting the celebrities?'

Kota knew that he was a pokemon trainer who mainly focused on strength and power.

All of his pokemons were extremely strong but their moves were too explosive.

Too much power and the surrounding celebrities might be hurt gravely.

"Ferry, don't rush! We have to buy time for the police to arrive!"

Kota then called out Scizor from his pokeball while keeping the space in the Hall in mind.

"Grunts! Don't care about anyone! Just get me those two!"

Brutal shouted, and all the Grunts now concentrated at the two.

"Shit! Electabuzz, Thunder Punch!"

Ordered Ferry, Electabuzz nodded his head and punched at Arbok with the sparks full fist.

"Saba!"

Arbok was pushed back with the Thunder Punch but it was not enough to defeat Arbok.

"You all! Protect them while we deal with the intruders!"

Kota turned towards the pokemons that belonged to the fans and celebrities.

"Scizor! Bullet Punch!"

Kota shouted and dodged a Tackle from another Raticate with Ferry.

"Scizor!"

Boosting himself, Scizor charged at the Arcanine which was the strongest amongst the intruders.

"Fire Blast!"

Said Brutal giving a smirk to Kota and waving his hands towards the Grunts to let them back off.

Arcanine opened his mouth and let a burst of flames aimed at Scizor.

"Scizor, stop it! Air Slash!"

If the Fire Blast was dodged by Scizor, it will go straight towards table number 5.

There were three celebrities at table number 5. And not far were table number 6 and 7.

"Scizor!"

With a head on clash, Scizor cut the Fire Blast and saved many lives.

But it didn't mean that Scizor was unhurt. Ferry and Electabuzz were also trying to waste time.

'If the police don't arrive in time. Many might really die today.'

Sweat dripped down from his forehead as Kota thought of numerous ways to avoid unnecessary deaths.

Behind the Big Hall, the Executive with a Master Ball looked at the Grunts.

"Hurry, we don't have all night! The police must be arriving soon!"

Shouted the Executive, he stood there in front of the cargos with his arms over his chest.

'What's taking Brutal so long to get the targets?'

The Executive then fished out a phone-like device from his pocket.

[Don't Delay. Leader is planning to move to the next stage already.]

There was a message on the device that made the Executive massage his forehead.

"What do you mean move to the next stage? We are still stuck at stage 3."

The Executive made an angry comment. Now it was talking too long.

"Hey you! Go inside and see what's taking Brutal so long!"

He shouted at one of the Grunts who saluted and immediately rushed inside the Big Hall.

Inside___

The fight between Scizor and Arcanine was taking place at the stage.

"Scizor, Double Team!"

Kota said from below the stage while kicking a Grunt on his chest.

"Scizor!"

Moving rapidly, Scizor left after images which looked like he had multiplied.

"Arcanine, Flamethrower!"

Brutal stood behind two Grunts as he commanded Arcanine who was at the stage with Scizor.

"Wooff!"

Flames shot out of Arcanine's mouth which hit the after images of Scizor but not the real one.

'Damn it!'

Kota couldn't see the battle as he was himself busy fighting off against a Grunt.

"Stop you brat!"

The Grunt punched at Kota but it was dodged as Kota kicked at the Grunts leg making him fall.

"Haa!"

Kota jumped on top of the Grunt and punched him in the face continuously.

"Ah!"

But another Grunt came and threw Kota on a table which broke.

The celebrities on that table all fell apart because of the impact that Kota brought.

"Kota!"

Ferry shouted from the other side as he pushed a Grunt and ran towards Kota to provide help.

But before reaching till Kota, he was caught by two more Grunts.

Electabuzz was now defeated as it was knocked out by two Arboks and a Raticate.

"I am never taking an invitation to any event from now!"
