Chapter 10: The Battle For The Future (2)

"I am going to say this only once, hand over the monster, and we will spare you," Frank said as the hunters and the SHR agents pointed their weapons towards Yennefer who was holding Amisha's hand.

Frank saw the wounded Carlos behind them and for a moment was rather confused as to why the head of the terrorist organization Daman was there. Frank glanced at the upper ground and saw the battle that was taking place and managed to put two and two together as to what was happening.

Frank looked back at the baby that was held by Amisha, thinking to himself how a small little kid like that could cause all of this mess.

"It is over, you can't run no-" before Frank could finished his sentence, white blades came raining down from the sky, forcing Frank to retreat and take cover while those who didn't have the speed to do so, got pierced by the blades.

Both Yennefer and Amisha were protected once more by a purple force field that destroyed all of the white blades that were coming towards them.

Frank redirect his attention towards the attacker that was floating in the air and he recognized her, "I was wondering when you will showed up, Sycorax Kurusugawa!"

"Long time no see, Frank Reece!" the woman said as she created hordes of white blades around herself and launched it towards Frank's group.

Ray quickly created a massive force field around them creating a shield, blocking the attack, although he didn't managed to make it big enough in time for the entire group causing some of their members to suffer horrific deaths by the blades.

"Dammit! You piece of shit!" Ray yelled out as he was holding off all of the blades from piercing his shield. The group couldn't move out from the force field at the moment, giving Sycorax the chance to land next to Carlos.

"Are you alright, my leader?" she asked, but Carlos was in too much pain and shock at the moment that he couldn't answer her. She realized that he was powerless and a bright smile formed on her face, a sinister one.

"Poor you, I will make the pain go away," as she pierced Carlos's body with about a dozen of white blades through his back, killing him.

Carlos eyes widen as Sycorax whispered in his ear, "I will be leading Daman now, rest assure, Daman is at a better hand now." Carlos's body fell to the ground helplessly. Sycorax stared at her former leader's body for a minute before redirecting her attention to Yennefer and Amisha.

She looked at them and was in disbelief as how the both of them could injure Carlos to this degree, as she sensed how their power level came nowhere close to Carlos's. She then saw the baby that was being held by Amisha.

"No, it couldn't be him, could it? Nah who cares anyway," she said to herself as she created another horde of white blades around her, pointing them towards the monster.

"He will be too dead to be a threat," as Sycorax launched her blades towards them. Yennefer quickly use her unwounded arm and transform once more into a giant snake, hoping to at least caught some of the blade, but it was no use, as the blades teared the snake apart. But the blades stopped right before Yennefer's eyes, as another figure had arrived, a boy with an iron hat, walking from behind Frank's group.

"What's up Yennefer? You looked like you got beaten up by King Kong," the man said as he was able to stopped the blades using his mind to the point he could even turned it around, pointing at Sycorax herself.

Sycorax was surprised as the white blades started to move towards them. She tried to gain control over them, but they weren't slowing down at all. She quickly undo all of her white blades causing the attack on Frank's group to stop as all of the blades to disappeared.

She instead, float back up to the sky and created a giant blade with the size of a building right above them, knowing that the boy with the iron hat will have to fight against both gravity and her force. The boy was fully aware of his disadvantage, and so he pulled both Yennefer and Amisha towards him, and in an instant he carried all of them out of there to the upper ground.

Frank was about to stop them, but he has another huge problem as the massive white blade came crashing down to where his group stand, destroying everything down there and even cracked the upper ground around it.

Kyron moved with an incredible speed, carrying Amisha, Yennefer, and the monster as far away from there as possible. When they reached a quite safe distance, all of them sigh a relief.

"Kyron, what the hell took you so long?" Yennefer yelled out pissed.

"Well I may or may not got distracted by a toy sale," the boy said as he glanced at the baby whom Amisha was holding.

"Is he the monster?"

"Yes he is."

"He doesn't look ugly at all."

"How dare you say that."

"What? That was a compliment."

Before Yennefer could response any further, out of nowhere, a giant fireball was heading towards them from behind.

"Kyron! Attack coming from behind!" Yennefer yelled out.

"Shit!" Kyron said as he turned around and quickly moved a car nearby to block the incoming attack, causing a massive explosion. Several more fireballs came in towards them and as Kyron was busy blocking all of them, a man snuck behind him and pierced Kyron's stomach with his blade, causing Kyron to cough out blood.

"Who the hell are you supposed to be?" Kyron asked.

The mysterious man simply smiled.
