Chapter 11: The Battle For The Future (3)

"I have no interest on telling you who I am, I am here for the boy, " the man said as he pulled his blade out of Kyron's stomach causing the blood to poured out uncontrollably. Kyron fell to the ground, causing his powers to deactivate, dropping both Yennefer and Amisha.

The man pulled his sword to the air, preparing to cut off Kyron's head. Amisha quickly blocked his attack with her dagger and at the same time, Yennefer kicked the man in the gut.

The man was thrown back away from the group, he coughed up a blood a little but the blood quickly evaporated, shocking both Amisha and Yennefer. The man began to regain his balance and stand straight again looking as if nothing happened.

The man stared at them as he was preparing to have another go, when all of the sudden, a laser beam came straight towards the man, forcing him to step back dodging the attack.

The laser beam followed the man non-stop, giving the man no break whatsoever, pushing him towards a building where he tried to take cover, but it was no use as the laser beam cut through the building like butter, causing the building to collapse and drop on the man.

Yennefer saw all of that and turned her sight towards the source of the beam. "You're late, Stanley!" she yelled out in relief.

"I came here as fast as I could but you are pretty far away from my place." Stanley responded.

"Oh my god, Kyron, you are bleeding, come here let me heal you!" a girl behind Stanley was running towards Kyron. The girl quickly wrap her hands on Kyron's wound and his wound started to heal fast.

"Molly, is he going to be okay?" Yennefer asked.

"His condition is quite bad, but he will live." Molly responded.

But now that Kyron is down, the fireball attack from before went crazy.

"Take cover!" Stanley yelled out as he blast down the incoming attack as much as he could using his powers, while the others took cover.

"Who is firing at us?" Molly asked.

"I am not sure!" Yennefer responded.

"It is Hafsa Hess, one of the strongest hunter among the Hunter Association, she has the capability to create fireball out of thin air non stop as a long range attack." Amisha answered.

"Really? If she really is that powerful, how come I don't know anything about her?" Yennefer asked.

"She is a new hunter, just joining in this year, but due to her ability, she was boosted as a high level hunter."

"Do you also know the man who stabbed Kyron?"

"I don't, he could jut be another hunter as far as I am concerned."

As they were speaking, Molly saw the wounds on Amisha and Yennefer, "Oh my god, what happened to your arms?"

"Oh this, Carlos, leader of Daman showed up and pretty much destroyed us."

"I should heal y-"

"No, you should focus on healing Kyron, this could wait."

"Ow okay..."

"Where are Kramer and Jasmine?"

"They are currently stopping any reinforcement from both SHR and the hunters. That is why we need to get out of here quickly!"

"Well that isn't going to be easy, not while that crazy ass girl is firing that fireball non stop."

Yennefer glanced at the battlefield, trying to find a way out when all of the sudden, a blade pierced through her heart.

Both Amisha and Molly, who was right beside her, was shocked as the man from before showed up without even a sound, even Amisha couldn't sense him.

Amisha quickly pulled her dagger with her unwounded hand, trying to strike the man, but the man in an instant cut her dagger in two.

Amisha quickly jumped away from there, leaving her cover, inviting the man to chase her, which worked. The man took a huge step and was about to cut Amisha in half when a fireball landed near them, throwing both of them away.

Both of them fell to the ground. The man got up first and again swung his blade to cut off Amisha's head, but before the blade could touch Amisha, Kyron woke up and use his power to throw the man through 5 buildings.

Kyron coughed up blood, as he was in no good shape to use his power. Molly rushed to save Yennefer, but Yennefer raised her hand stopping Molly.

"I don't have much time so listen up, the baby, he is the one, the one that will bring down the Rulers, restore this world and give it to us, the people. Protect him!" Yennefer pulled Molly closer to her, and whispered in her ear.

"Make sure he kills Fergus Bishop, do it for..." Yennefer stopped talking, her green eyes were lifeless as she gave out an empty stare.

She died before she could finished her sentence, her hand fell to the ground and her soul has left her body. Molly was in tears. Kyron fell unconscious, Stanley was losing the fight to Hafsa Hess, and Amisha was once again powerless.
