Not only was the Midas petal attractive, but the blood ponds and Primordial Bloodline essences were fatally more attractive than the petal.
The petal was restricted and only seed carriers and Alex could obtain it, but the rest, it was free for all.
Now that most of the competition had been put on hold they would not be able to get anything unless they participated in this huge event that was supposed to take place in Nord.
