The Samurai

Why did you attack us? asked Archimedes to the prisoner. I wanted to fight the best, he replied. You did not, said Archimedes. I know, he said. I was not able to fight you properly, said the samurai. Not me , I'm not the best warrior, said Archimedes. Everyone says that you are, the greatest warrior in the galaxy, said the Samurai putting his hat on. A true warrior would not hesitate to kill when necessary, said Archimedes. " And you my friend have not killed a single person in your life" Archimedes came face to face with the samurai. Not when your village burned, not when the enemies ransacked your houses, said Archimedes. The samurai's eyes turned red with anger. How do you know? he fumed again. When the enemies came swinging with swords, you chose to run away rather than kill them. When they burned your house, you watched in a distance because of some vow you had taken, said Archimedes. The Samurai reached beyond the bars and collared Archimedes. "And you have never stopped running". Archimedes removed the samurais hands off himself " And you have been try to kill someone, but you cannot" The samurai walked and sat back and was close to tears remembering the burning of his village. You are right warrior, he said to Archimedes. I'm a coward who could not even protect my family. I have been running all my life. My friend, said Archimedes " The true Samurai is not the greatest swordsmen nor the mightiest warrior" A true Samurai is one who knows when to guard the candle and when to blow it" How do you know that? asked the Samurai. An old man taught me that, replied Archimedes. Indeed , agreed the Samurai. A samurai must know when to be in light and when to be covered in darkness. Can I meet your master? asked the samurai.
