Back then, Shufen was twelve years old when her father, Tao, was still establishing the Ying family name. She had to go to school with bodyguards who would wait at the gate until she finished her classes.
Because of her family status, she could barely make friends. Her brother, Bai, was only nine back then. No matter how hard she tried, no one wanted to befriend her.
They were scared.
