The Lost Primarch

One of the Lost Primarchs returns. The Primarch of the XXI Legion, a Legion no one knew about, was not dead or disappeared as thought by the Emperor originally, but just flung into another galaxy far far away. A galaxy where a strange Force holds back the influence of the Warp and makes it invisible to everything. The Primarch falls on Ryget Undecim, a Death World by Imperial Scholars standards. Powerful beasts and dangerous Xenos infest the world and try to wrestle the minuscule human faction to the ground. When Gaius landed on the planet, he knew what he was thanks to information that appeared inside his head. What will Gaius do? Will he become a tyrant and take over and unite his galaxy before he bothers to return to the one he came from? Or will he return as soon as possible and aid the Great Crusade? ____________ This is an OC and not a reincarnator. The Meta Essence I gave him is the Essence of the Lost Primarch. The setting is Star Wars and we'll see how he handles the Force. The cover picture and all others are NOT mine. Those belong to John Stone. I found them from ArtStation. If he wants me to take them down, I will.

Davorka was shocked. She looked at Gaius standing over the dead Blood-Piercer and couldn't find the right words to say. There were thousands of things to say, but she didn't find the strength to open her mouth. It was all so surreal. How had Gaius managed to overpower the suction ability of the Blood-Piercer? How could he pull himself away again? What was that monstrous aura permeating the surroundings? Who was Gaius really?

...

Her brain shut itself off and her instincts shook her awake. She realised the situation they were in right now and ran towards Gaius. The young Primarch observed the dead beast he had just slain with his hands. No one understood what he went through right now, but it was a step towards the future no doubt. The strength he was given had been put to good use and he understood that he was no prey. He was the predator. Created to destroy all enemies and to rule. To lead humanity into the future and unite it. He looked at Davorka, his mother in all but genetics who had taken him in together with the rest of the tribe.

"We must go, Gaius. As much as I want to celebrate this victory with you, there is no time. A fight such as this, filled with emotion, is bound to attract the Rage Quitters," Davorka tells him and touches him gently.

"Very well. Let's go," Gaius agrees.

The 'Rage Quitters' Davorka was talking about were nasty creatures of Ryget Ten. Their danger came from the fact that they weren't corporeal beings in the usual sense. They were a caseous life-form if you could even call them such. To explain their nasty nature would require knowledge of the Force itself. The Force is a very emotional-based energy. Whether it be the Light side or the Dark side of the Force, it has to do with emotions. The 'Rage Quitters' are no different. They absorb the emotions of living creatures around them. Their favourite seems to be the emotions of rage, hate and anger as those are very powerful emotions. The Blood-Piercer is considered a delicacy for the 'Rage Quitter' since it mostly experiences rage and anger. This also keeps their population from shooting through the roof.

.

Davorka and Gaius reached their camp and saw the unrest amongst them. When they approached, the tribesmen surrounded them and started to ask them what happened.

"What happened, Davorka? Where were you and why does Gaius look so hurt?" Omran asked in a hurry.

"We met a Blood-Piercer during our hunt and had to run away. I was already ready to die when Gaius appeared and saved me. He actually fought the Blood-Piercer and ... killed it."

"..."

"He what?"

"He killed it?"

"Brother Gaius killed a Blood-Piercer?!"

"So cooool!!"

Everyone was freaking out at the news that Gaius had killed a Blood-Piercer and with his bare hands no less. It was unthinkable for them. And that wasn't even the only good news for the tribe. The others who had scattered when Davorka told them to, had secretly sneaked back to the carcass of the Elevenphant and had managed to bring back quite a few large pieces of meat and even one tusk which could be used to create weapons.

It was a good day for the tribe and a sign of what Gaius was capable of. His achievements would only increase from here on and they would become more and more impressive.

.

The next day arrived. Omran who was about to meditate early in the morning found the sleeping arrangement of Gaius empty. Alarmed, Omran started looking for him. He was worried since he knew about the immature decisions of youth. Gaius despite his stature was still only ONE YEAR OLD. Of course, he would make bad decisions. Who was to say that Gaius fuelled by the success of his kill yesterday, doesn't go out to look for more monsters to fight?

Hurridly, Omran started looking for Gaius, but thankfully he found him looking at the capsule that had brought him to this planet a year ago.

"Gaius! What are you doing?"

"Good morning, Omran. I was just looking at the capsule I arrived in. You know yesterday, after everything was done, I had time to think."

"So you meditated? Did you finally see the value in it?" Omran asks slightly in jest but also seriously.

"Haha, no. But I came to understand that I am meant for something different ... something more. I could feel it yesterday when I was running away like Davorka said. Every fibre in my body refused to leave suddenly and so my body stopped moving. For the life of me, I couldn't take another step forward."

Omran listened to Gaius. Ever since he had arrived a year ago, the Force had been unsure how to feel about Gaius. Omran was comparable to Qui-gon Jin in his understanding and trust in the Force, only stronger. It was as if there was ... apprehension in the Force. It was as if the Force was waiting and looking at how Gaius developed. Something was certain, Gaius wasn't supposed to be there and the Force didn't know how to feel about it.

"So I simply followed my instincts. I ran and arrived just in time to see Davorka challenging the Blood-Piercer. I waited for the perfect time. I didn't get anxious or nervous or lose my composure and just stayed calm. During the fight, I felt like something was unlocked. Like my true being finally came out of its cocoon. I was transformed in a way. Like growing up, you know. And after that, I knew that I would win the fight and kill the beast."

"So what kept you up at night?"

"I suddenly got an inspiration about the capsule I arrived in. Looking at it right now, I know what it is and the technology used to create it."

"You do? That could be very useful."

[What follows is BS, so don't get angry]

"I know. Do you see this? This is a Gellar Field Device. It emits an energetic, invisible force field comprised of subatomic particles called a Gellar Field, which essentially maintains a bubble of real space-time around this capsule. I know that this technology is used in much grander starships travelling through something called the Warp using the power of its sublight drives after utilising its Warp-Drive to pierce the veil between the physical universe and the Warp."

"The Warp ... what is that?"

As the name was mentioned, Omran suddenly felt the Force react. It was as if there was something no one knew, which caused the Force to react in such a way and it unnerved Omran.

"The Immaterium, also referred to as the Empyrean, the Aether, the Sea of Souls, the Realm of Chaos, Warpspace or most commonly, "the Warp," is an alternate dimension of purely psychic energy that echoes and underlies the familiar four dimensions of the material universe. I don't understand where this knowledge is coming from, but it is like I gain 'inspiration' and then it appears in my mind.

The Warp is the source of all psychic powers and known instances of so-called "sorcery" or "magic" as well as the home dimension of the powerful entities known as the Ruinious Powers and their myriad legions of servants. In fact, the terms "Chaos" and the "Warp" are often used interchangeably by those aware of their existence.

Superficially, the Immaterium was the solution to the problem of faster-than-light travel. The Warp functions as the medium for FTL interstellar travel, with voidcraft entering it through the use of a Warp-Drive."

"..."

"That is ... unbelievable, Gaius. I have never heard about this dimension you call the Warp. But I can tell that it is malevolent."

"It is, but I can tell that it wasn't always like that. The entities spawned there are only changing it that way."

"I can also see the similarities between the Warp and the Force. Both are closely connected to emotions and are a fundamental energy. I also believe that there is only one solution to this problem."

"I know ... I am not from this galaxy."

...

"What are you going to do now?" Omran asked.

"What I was meant to do all along. I will start to develop our technology again and take control of our fate. The time for change has arrived and this capsule I arrived in, will be the start of our ascension. First, we will take back this planet from all the monsters and beasts and then we will expand further."

"Those are big dreams, Gaius. Do you think it is possible?"

"Of course. I will make it possible."

.

Gaius started to take the capsule he arrived in apart. He wanted to put his genius intellect to use and those inspirations he got from time to time as well. The Gellar Field was quickly understood by him. He thought about how he could use this technology to protect their tribe, as that would allow them to finally settle somewhere and expand from there. He knew that they needed to start mining as well. All kinds of metals would be essential for the development of the technology he knew about.

But Gaius had another idea to jumpstart everything. He asked Omran about it.

"You want to do what?! Do you understand how stupid that is and how dangerous? You could die out there and needlessly at that. All the technology will be useless at this point, so why bother?!"

"I am aware of that. But seeing new things might inspire me and allow me to use what I have at hand to give us a head start. We need more firepower, against the monsters out there. Those aren't even the truly big ones either. I can do it, I know I can."

Gaius had asked about the spaceships of different groups who had arrived on the planet. Omran and Davorka had told him about both the Sith and the Jedi who had visited Ryget Ten multiple times in the past. Their spaceships were bound to hold technology he could use to create either more or better things down the line. But it would allow them to get some security if he could create some powerful weapons to defend themselves.

"*Sigh* ... I won't be able to stop you will I?"

"No. I have to do this. If we want to move forward, you will have to trust me more. There are things I have to do and this is one of them. The journey ahead will not be simple, but I am more than prepared to walk it."

"..."

"Very well then."

Omran and Davorka spent a few hours explaining the place where they had come across remnants of old spaceships or even some newer ones. No one had ever survived and the weapons were most likely unusable. That didn't matter to Gaius though. He only wanted the inspiration he got whenever he focused on new technology.

So a small party was assembled that would venture out and gather what was still useful from the shipwrecks.

.

The journey was rather dangerous for the squad, but since they now travelled with the repurposed Gellar Field, Gaius had been tinkering for a while, they were so much safer. The beasts and monsters that lived on the continent in the middle of the giant lake, which was surrounded by the other large continent, weren't as dangerous or large as the ones outside. The Force storms were keeping the truly large ones out thankfully.

The Gellar field was doing its job and so, they finally reached the place they were looking for. A rather large wreck of a spaceship could be seen. It was broken and the plant life had taken over almost everything, but there were still things left.

Gaius stopped and lifted something off the ground. It was a gun, from what he knows.

"Davorka what is this called again?"

"Oh, that should be a blaster."

"Blaster? ..."

As soon as he had it in his hand, another inspiration appeared in his mind.

... Bolter ...

The Bolter, also called a boltgun, and its variants are some of the most powerful, hand-held, ballistic anti-personnel weaponry in use by the military forces of the Imperium of Man. It is a powerful assault weapon that fires explosive kinetic rounds colloquially referred to as bolts.

A smile appeared on Gaius' face. That was it. The first of many many weapons that would help them in their crusade.

Please be lenient here. I know there are so many weapons he could create and the many steps it takes to get something like that up and running. But I will shorten the explanation on how he manages to do that.

Also, there is a way I could make him both the 'Successor' and the 'Trump Card', if that is what you guys want.
