the lone wolf (series 1)

a girl who only wanted a simple life worked hard. Her trust in man was not the absolute best. She could only trust herself. She was always in the woods wandering around. She never feared the danger of the woods. A werewolf herself gave her confidence. However a lone wolf will never be able to survive for long, or that was said in the past. Every book written by ancestors always mentioned werewolves and how they must never go alone. tw - violence - vulgarities filled with romance and fantasy. this is based on imagination. none of these are real:) enjoy the book and check my other works out in the process if you did enjoy this book. however if you didn't enjoy it comment why and I would take it in and make a book of your desire:)

On the run

As he drove of, seemingly without a thought, I sat there. I sat there, just on the bed, my limbs were chained down. I could not ,ove. I felt guilty. How was he so unphased. He parked the van right at the side of the road. All around us were green which meany that we were not that well camouflaged. Well, that was the least of my worries.

I sat there, vulnerable. I felt stupid. My mind in a whirl. However I was clear of one thing. I was willing to accept death or torture. I felt that it would just be my punishment after all.

He got off his seat, grabbed a few weapons and spun over to look at me. Well, I supposed so? My wrists were chained onto the bed and my legs were chained onto the floor. I could not lift a toe or a finger.

"Ster?" I heard Edward's voice coming from somewhere far.

I did not react.

I still could not move.

"Ster, get up." His voice could still be heard, tone was stern.

However it felt like a dream. My head kept spinning.

"Ster." I heard it again.

I tried lifting a finger, did not work. Maybe try lifting a toe? Did not work I could not comprehend what was happening. Why could I not move? Not even an inch. Soon even breathing was difficult. Every breath I took needed at least 3 minutes of preparation. It was like bodybwas turning self powering down. I did not know how to control it. My body gradually started to go fully numb. So numb I could not breathe. I tried to fight against it, I really did. If I had not fought, maybe my sufferings would have ended quicker.

At first I thought that I must be dieing. Then I thought, was I just about to faint? Then I realised. It was a punishment. I felt as if it was. I could not move, breathe or talk. I tried to scream. Did not work. I still kept trying. However, after about 10 minutes of suffocating, I gave in. I left it take over me.

"Ster!" I heard panic in his voice.

He still cared after all.

Well, I hope so?

After hearing panic in his voice, it was as if the sound waves transferred the panic right into my body. I started to fight again. This time, it was a little more difficult. I still tried hard. Even if he was about to kill me, I want him to look me in the eyes and do it.

"Darling?" He called out, "Ster? My love?"

I opened my eyes very much slowly. Trying to comprehend everything that was around me. Tables, ceiling, air conditioning, chair, coffee machine, blanket, bed...bed? I realised that I was still in the van. I was not sitting anymore, instead I was laid down quite comfortably.

Panic attack? Mother used to have it.

"Here water," he gave me a bottle of glistening water.

I did not answer.

"Look," he started to whisper.

Now I was intrigued, why was he whispering?

"While to looked out for potential predators, I noticed that Luna and her now gang were holding a dog whistle and weapons. As for Sky, he was holding a net. I don't think that was very friendly. Besides they are not that stupid to be yelling in the woods are they?" He questioned me.

Now he was right however, how could I trust him? The yelling was convincing. Trust issues really made me think for a while before something startled us.

Dog whistle.

I was covering my ears. My eyes closed shut. He ran over to get earplugs for me which helped a lot. He already had earpiece in, it seemed effective.

I turned around to see a car, SUV.

Sil0014W

"Oh for fucks sake," I whispered under my breath.

As for Edward, he seemed unphased and started to drive away. He was focusing on hiding his scent. I was too. I grabbed a gun to do the same thing I did a while before. The car swerved from left to right. Well, they learnt their lesson.

I was happy enough that Edward was proven innocent. However I still had underlying trust issues.

"Miss me?" I heard my uncle's voice.

I turned to Edward for permission to answer.

He gave a nod.

"Kinda." I replied.

"Oh?" Sky's voice could be heard again.

"I missed the part where you yelled son of a gun, quite ironic actually." I clarified.

I got my gun ready. The click sound was satisfying.

"Ooh that click sounds good. Do it again," Edward smiled, staring right into the rear mirror.

"I will show you what's satisfying," I smiled quite vaguely.

I opened the window.

Bang!

I shot once, warning shot.

Bang!

I shot again, this time at their engine.

Bang!

Third time, right at their window. Their windows were bullet-proof however it was just to scare them.

They swifted to the left.

I was unphased. I clicked the gun once more.

"Do it, love" Edward's voice only encouraged me to hurt them more.

"Copy that." I saluted them off with two fingers before shooting at their tires again.

They started to shoot my open window which was closed shut within a millisecond.

"Slow," I laughed.

"Bitch!" I heard Sky's voice echo.

"Hm, satisfying." I said.

Edward seemed to have agreed well with me, his eyes were shinning with pride. I sat next to him, gun in my hand.

I turned to look at him, his face beaming with pride.

"Funny how you seem so proud but all you did was drive," I mocked.

"I'm proud of my choice," he said.

"What?" I asked, confused.

He was always vague, too vague.

"My choice of partner," he leaned over to kiss me on my forehead.

He turned away quickly to focus on the road.

I read the signs on the side of the road. A smile stretched over my face.

"City areas, we are safer now! Let's find a gas station!" I smiled.

He nodded.
