The Lion Sin

The scorching desert looked like a wasteland of hell, as far as the eye could see was just an orange sandy hellscape with no end in sight. and this was all the more reason to notice the humanoid sitting in the sand staring out with a blank look on his face, his silver-white hair and fair skin a clear contrast to the sandy background. and his ruby-red eyes glossy with pure confusion.

This man would be seen as an ethereal thing of beauty in any society, a thing to be appreciated and love. too bad the heat cared nothing for his fair skin slowly getting burned, with the sand getting into all the wrong places and amplifying the heat on his body.

Finally, the unmoving figure of the man shook out of his daze with a heavy sigh,

"This is probably the most fucked I've been in.. well ever"

And if that wasn't the most underestimated sentence that has ever come out of his mouth, he chuckled to himself. he slowly got up and started taking inventory of himself, first thing he noticed was his obvious increase in height. not that he was ever short before at a comfortable 5.10 but he easily stood at 7 foot tall now, that was not an increase to just gloss over! next thing he swiftly noticed was that his skin had lightened up considerably to an almost ethereally white color, and after bringing his hands up to his face he noticed that his fingers have become long slender and each equipped with nails that all ended in a sharp point.

And the most peculiar tattoo on his forearm, it was something he hadn't seen since he was a small child. but there was absolutely no mistaking the Beautiful white wand that looked as if it was crafted from the stars themselves!

The fairy godmothers very own wand was etched into his forearm, but it had such a strange depth to it as if millions of tiny stars were revolving so infinitely close to each other. and the more he looked into the stars, the more a peculiar feeling started to emanate from his chest, down his arm, and into the tattoo.

He never noticed that the tattoo started to become more and more life-like, and it wasn't before the stars started hovering out of his arm into the air that he noticed the strange phenomenon. he stared gobsmacked as more and more tiny glowing stars flowed out of his skin forming an almost holographic image of the wand, slowly turning more and more solid as time grew.

And as it finally had completely escaped the confines of his arm, there it was hovering in front of him in all its sparkly Disney splendor, its shape was rather thin where what he presumed was its handle was slightly thicker and it slimmed down the further down it went, into an impossible to see needlepoint.

He couldn't help but hold his breath as he slowly reached for the 20 inches of gloriously white stardust speckled wand that seemed to almost called out to him. and that very breath he was holding escaped into an almost moan as his slender hands wrapped around it, he felt as if he just reclaimed a piece of himself that he never knew he was missing, and the warm feeling that now ran like a comforting river through his body strengthened the joy he felt connecting to the dis- no. this was HIS wand now, even claiming it as if it was some form of property didn't do the feelings he felt towards the wand justice, it felt more as if it was a PART of him.

As if agreeing with him in his thoughts, a bright stream of white lights spewed out of its needle tip.

"So a new body, a potentially new world, and a real-life honest to god magic wand?" yeah he wasn't exactly home anymore, but as he stared out into the desert all he could honestly feel was a sense of glee at the potential his new life may hold!
