Lance's Defeat

At this moment, Lance who was hit by Jim was currently a few feet away from Jim. But that wasn't what made the crowd surprised. What made them surprised was the fact that Lance was currently quite pale and moreover, blood was flowing from the side of his lips unceasingly.

Jim's blow had injured him severely. However, what the crowd was most shocked about was the fact that Lance was already bleeding in the first bout! Didn't this indirectly mean that Jim was stronger than Lance?

Seeing Lance struggling to take care of Jim, the crowd couldn't help but gasp in shock and awe. At first, when Jim was a mere normal person, no one bothered to pay attention to him. It wouldn't even be too excessive to say that they all looked down on him. This was exactly true for those who had superpowers.

However, at this moment the person who most of them believed to be super strong was struggling to fight against Jim who they once looked down upon. Indirectly he also liked Jim but not to the extent that he liked Travis. he always felt that Jim was Travis' friend who was extremely loyal to Travis.

Jim then turned his head to find out the main reason why Lance actually suddenly released such an explosive aura from his body. Turning his head in the direction of Lance he figured out that the aura that shot out explosively from Lance was actually coming from a sword in his hand.

The sword was about a metre long. However, that wasn't what scared Jim. What really scared him were the runes and symbols on the sword. at this moment, those symbols and runes were all emitting a strange white light that covered the sword. It was the white light that gave the sword that dangerous aura.

At this moment, Lance looked like the ruler of the place. His deep red coily hair continued to flutter in the wind as he looked like an immortal who had descended into the mortal world.

As his aura enveloped everything, everyone except Bryan and Jim felt a grave sense of danger. Even Duane wasn't an exception. Seeing this, the crowd began to usher praises at Lance.

One must know that they were the same ones who were praising Jim when he was suppressing Lance earlier. From this, one could tell that they were hypocrites!

As Lance heard the praises from the crowd, he became increasingly arrogant. This even became more true when he saw the ugly expression on Jim's face.

"Hmph! Scared? If I become scared I would have let my best friend down!", Jim said, his voice filled with contempt and mockery. Hearing what Jim said Lance became increasingly gloomy. However, he forcefully swallowed his anger.

"Do you think you can win? Oh, yes, I nearly forgot! Or do you think that trashy best friend of yours could fight me? Actually, your granddaddy here only knocked him out with one punch! He is nothing but mere trash!", Lance said with contempt as he looked at Travis who was still unconscious.

"You... What did you just say?", when Jim heard what Lance said, his body began to tremble as he gnash his teeth in anger. One could tell that he was really angry. After all, who could allow someone to insult his friend so much? Lance's words were too excessive!

"I... said... he... is... mere... trash!" Lance said intentionally stressing one word at a time.

"Boom!"

Suddenly Jim attacked. He moved really fast arriving in front of Lance in almost an instant. He then threw a punch toward Lance's face. The punch was equally as powerful as all the punches he had delivered.

Seeing that, Lance was not to be outdone. he immediately dodged the punch and then attacked. He slashed the sword in his hand towards Jim's back planning to cut him into two.

"Bang!"

However, when the sword was about to reach its target, it acted as if it had met a huge obstacle. Seeing that, Lance immediately looked upwards.

"You!!"

Lance was absolutely stupefied. That was because he was a very cautious person. He intentionally attacked from behind Jim as he believed that his back was his blind spot. He had always thought that his planned worked.

However, at this moment, not only did Jim have a smile on his face, he was currently holding the sword between his index and middle finger. Jim had used his mere hand to block the attack!

However, what scared Lance the most was the look in his eyes. It was filled with killing intent. The killing intent was so strong that Lance nearly pissed his pants in fear. It was the scariest killing intent he had seen in his whole life except for that of Travis whose killing intent could affect the environment.

"Crash!"

At this moment, Jim twisted his fingers and the sword broke into two! This greatly shocked Lance. A sudden explosion was heard as Jim punched Lance right in the stomach. As for Lance he immediately vomited blood before shooting away from Jim as he crashed into the almost depreciated buildings!!
