CHAPTER NINETEEN

A strong wind blew over the horizon as a heavy rain was unleashed. Thunder roared, lightening continued striking. Despite the fact that it was midday darkness clouded over the entire city. People who couldn’t come with the wind despite having umbrellas had to hide for safety. It was like the world was in tumoil which was exactly the state of Darius mind at that moment.

He stood at his window staring at the street. He watched the rain drop from above. As old as he was he couldn’t help being fascinated by rainfall. The way the water drip from the clouds and travel thousand of miles undisturbed all the way down to the earth and splatter on the floor. Each collection of drops continue to follow each other till the earth becomes wet.
