Chapter 63- Inside a Willow Tree

The elf was a little different from the ones that Kazuki saw at Elven Forest. He has green hair while all elves have blonde. The blue gemstone on his forehead also emits a faint trace of magic power. As Kazuki was about to touch it, the elf teared up and started to beg for mercy.

"I'm sorry please forgive me. I didn't mean to harm you I just wanted you to free our guardian" he pleaded.

Kazuki sighed and ordered Rhyle to let him go. The strange elf quickly ran away but little did he know that a tracker was placed in him.

The next morning, Kazuki sensed that the elf stopped moving so he told Rhyle to prepare for their departure. He followed the traces of his magic that lead them to a big willow tree with a hole in its trunk. Since they didn't know what awaits them on the other side, he ordered Rhyle to wait outside while he enters. Rhyle of course, disagrees to this idea and insisted that he must go and that Kazuki's safety takes priority.

Kazuki placed some magic power on the ground so that he can easily teleport back if anything happens. Rhyle finally gave up and agreed with his idea.

As Kazuki walked towards the Trunk, its hole got wider and a green portal appeared. He recalled his past life where trees sometimes sends people to another world so he can't be sure that this one will be different. He mustered his courage and entered. When he opened his eyes, he found himself in a forest that looks a lot like Elven forest. The only difference is that the inhabitants all have gemstones in their foreheads. They include sapphire, ruby, topaz, pearl, emerald, aquamarine, and amethyst.

Since there were no other races in there, he thought that wearing just a hood will make him more suspicious so he used magic to change his hair color to green and picked a random gem to place in his head. He now looks like a local with an emerald in his forehead. As he walked in town, he noticed people glancing at him from time to time. The wondered if they saw right through his magic but he sensed his magic starting to move again so he left. He was again led by the magic traces to a small house where he saw the man with his wife and children so he greeted them. When the man turned around, he immediately noticed the green gem and bowed his head.

"This man greets his highness" he greeted.
