CONVERSATION

I was currently sitting inside my father's chambers.

It had been quite a while since it was only me and my father. We had our usual evening supper along with Ketki and before I could head back to have my classes with Ketki and Adishri, my father asked for me to follow him to the study. It was only after I sat down in his study that I realized how long it had been since I discussed something only with my father. Looking back to all the rapid decisions and changes that I have been making, not just regarding the internal workings of the kingdom but even our interactions with the outside world, my father must have had quite a few questions for me. Seeing that he had kept mum for such a long time, I had just taken his approval for granted and somewhere down the line even stopped thinking of asking for his permissions.
