The Imperium of Aurelian

In the vast expanse of the Milky Way galaxy, a rich tapestry of history unfolds. It is now the year 3748 AD, and humanity has come a long way since they first ventured into the stars in 2211 AD. The early days were marked by hope and discovery as human colonies flourished on distant worlds, yet they found no evidence of alien life beyond the captivating flora and fauna of these new frontiers. The united planets once stood as the first unified human government, a beacon of cooperation and shared vision. However, rebellion and unrest shattered this unity in the year 2390, casting humanity into a state of fragmentation. In the aftermath, the Terran Alliance emerged, claiming dominion from 2390 to 2600, attempting to restore order and stability to a divided populace. With the decline of the Terran Alliance, humanity splintered further, each star system forging its own path and establishing its own form of governance. Kingdoms, federations, republics, caliphates, holy sees, and dictatorships sprouted across the galaxy, shaping distinct societies and ideologies. The once-unified knowledge and shared history began to erode, as cultures developed in isolation, leading to the forgetting of ancient histories, religions, and even whole ways of life. Curiously, amidst this vast diversity, remnants of long-lost cultures started to resurface. Languages like Latin, Classical Greek, and Classical Persian experienced a revival, as if echoes from a forgotten past. Scholars and enthusiasts dedicated themselves to reviving these ancient tongues and exploring the wisdom of bygone eras. These rediscoveries added layers of complexity to the myriad of new ways of life that had emerged, creating a captivating blend of forgotten and newly forged traditions. In this ever-evolving galaxy, independent realms soar, each with its own unique character and vision for the future. Sanctum Primaria

20 November 3748 AD.

-------------------

Currently, a meeting was underway inside the command center within the bunker. The faces of Optio Abelus Calvus and Commander Valeria Gibson appeared on the large monitor, Valeria is in the bridge of her ship with the planet Tannas visible in the background, while Calvus in his tent.

"Operation Blackout is a success, Imperator. The planet is ours"

reported Valeria to Aurelian, her tone filled with triumph.

"The hyperbeacon has been destroyed. We can begin moving the troops for future operations, Imperato."

added Calvus, speaking from his tent.

Aurelian nodded, his expression radiating satisfaction. Relief washed over him as the operation had achieved its objectives.

Throughout the course of the mission, Aurelian had been plagued by worry and nervousness, but now he could finally breathe easy.

"Convey my gratitude to the troops, Commander, Optio. Their hard work made this success possible."

Aurelian commended, acknowledging the pivotal role played by the soldiers.

Valeria and Calvus both nodded in response, a small smile gracing their faces. Their gratitude towards Aurelian was evident

"Its all thanks to your new ship, weapon, Imperator. The soldiers would had a hard time without it."

Commander Valeria said in gratitude.

Aurelian had ensured that his soldiers and grand fleet were equipped with advanced technology from the Star Wars dimension, and seeing them master these weapons in just couple of months filled his heart with pride and a sense of accomplishment.

"The troops and fleets will soon be transferred to the planet for our operation to destroy the Pharahan. It is time for us to commence our offensive after months of preparation."

Aurelian declared, his voice filled with determination.

Valeria and Calvus couldn't help but grin, sharing in Aurelian's enthusiasm. Finally, the moment had arrived to bring destruction upon the Pharahan kingdom, a goal they had pursued relentlessly.

As the meeting progressed, Aurelian listened to several additional reports before concluding the session. He bid them farewell, reminding them to keep him updated and to take care.

Exiting the bunker, Aurelian made his way to another meeting.

------------------------

He made way through the masive coridors of sanctum. It still amaze him how big this base was. He was sure people will get lost if they wasnt familiar with it.

Despite its immensity, the bustling activity within was a testament to its efficient organization. As Aurelian walked, people greeted him along the way, and he responded with nods of acknowledgment.

Arriving at a designated room, he entered to find Magister Generalis Titus, Fleet Admiral Stella and General Alexios standing at attention. Aurelian motioned for them to sit as he took his place in the chair.

"Sit. What reports do you have for me?"

he inquired, his voice carrying an air of authority.

Fleet Admiral Stella spoke up first.

"I want to report that our reorganization of the fleet has gone smoothly."

She stated, handing datapads to the people in the room that contain the necessary information. Aurelian promptly read through the report.

Initially, when the Imperator mentioned reorganizing the fleet, she had feared being replaced.

However, Aurelian's intention was to reinforce the composition of the fleet due to the addition of new ships.

Aurelian aimed to reshape the foundation of the grand fleet, ensuring that the necessary framework was in place for the future development of his empire.

Before the reorganization, ships would be constantly shifting between groups. If one group had a mission that required a specific ship, they would utilize Ship A for its specialized capabilities. However, if another group urgently needed Ship A for their own mission, they would have to wait until the former group completed their assignment before gaining access to the ship.

Although, as a former admiral, his father should have known that this fleet composition was not sustainable in the long run, Aurelian understood that he didn't have a choice due to the limited number Aurelius Fleet at the time.

Another reason for the disorganized structure was that they had primarily relied on guerrilla tactics before, which somewhat justified the situation.

Now, Aurelian wanted the fleet to be organized and operate smoothly without unnecessary hassles. With the advantage of the summoning system, he no longer had to worry about losing ships.

Stella observed the people as they read the reports on the datapad, and then she began to explain.

"As ordered, the grand fleet has been divided into Legions, and each legion has a task force with a different function. We have task forces for first attack, defense, escort, scouting, and any other additional functions as needed. If new ships are introduced, they will be assigned to the appropriate task forces. Or make another task force for another new legion. Any questions so far?"

She scanned the room and saw Alexios raised his hand and asked.

"What happen to our older ships?"

It was a valid question, considering the introduction of newer and more powerful ships.

Stella looked at Aurelian, who nodded, understanding the unspoken question.

"As ordered by the Imperator, our older ships will be retrofitted for non-combat duties such as escort, transport, and other non-combat roles. They will continue serving until the Imperator summons a better fleet for those roles, at which point they will be retired."

Alexios nodded in understanding.

"Any more questions?"

Stella asked, scanning the room once again, but no one raised their hand.

"The composition of the fleet is as follows: 1 dreadnought, 2 battlecruisers, 4 destroyers, 4 cruisers, 6 frigates, and 10 corvettes. Additional carrier ships will be assigned to different task forces as needed. This is the initial fleet composition for a task force, subject to further additions or subtractions as required."

She paused briefly to catch her breath.

"On a different note, the first task force of the First Legion, the Ignis Volantis Task Force, is currently engaged in Operation Blackout. Although not at full size. So as you see Imperator, our fleet are prepared for combat."

She said with a hint of pride, maintaining her composed demeanor.

"And thus conclude my report."

She concluded, meletakan datapadnya diatas meja.

"Thank you for your hardworkd Stella."

Aurelian said with a smile. Satisfy with the report. He then looked at Alexios and Alexios nodded. Understand that it is his turn.

Alexios shared the datapad with everyone present, initiating his report on the reorganization of the field army.

"I would also like to report on the reorganization of our ground troops. Previously, our ground forces were divided into cells called 'centuries,' which served on the planets they were deployed to. However, following the Imperator's orders, our ground troops will now be divided into legions, with each legion further divided into centuries."

He paused for a moment, allowing everyone in the room to process the information provided in his report.

"Within each century, we will have divisions into battalions, with the most basic unit being the 'unit.' Are there any questions?"

Alexios asked, but no questions were raised. The audience had understood his explanation.

"I am pleased to inform you that the reorganization process has gone perfectly. It is estimated that within a few weeks, the process will be completed."

he stated with his kind smile, which he typically reserved for moments outside of battle.

"Thus, I conclude my report, Imperator."

Alexios stated, concluding his briefing. Aurelian smiled contentedly, appreciating the progress made in reshaping his army. Similar to the grand fleet, he sought to establish a strong foundation for his ground forces. Hearing that the transition had proceeded smoothly, his satisfaction grew.

"Thank you, Alexios."

Aurelian expressed his gratitude, and Alexios nodded in return.

Aurelian then turned his gaze towards Titus, indicating that it was his turn to speak. Titus smirked.

"I just want to show you this."

Titus said, taking out a round tool and placing it on the table. As he activated it, a holographic figure materialized. It was a recording of a man wearing an ornate robe, adorned many accessories, with white hair and a mustache. The man had an arrogant smile on his face.

"For the Imperator, my name is Dulan Netumu, the advisor to King Sobek II. I call upon you to end your rebellion, which has persisted for far too long. Now that your father has passed, let us put our differences aside and come together at the negotiating table. I invite Imperator Aurelian of The Aurelius Group to meet me on planet Shase in two weeks for negotiations. I will arrive with one ship, and you must also come with one ship. Your headquarters at Nimbor VI has been destroyed by us, leaving you with nowhere to hide. Negotiate with me, and King Sobek will show mercy. Remember, planet Shase in two weeks."

The room fell silent for a moment, followed by bursts of laughter. Alexios erupted with roaring laughter, while Stella couldn't contain her amusement and giggled, trying to stifle her laughter. Her shoulders shook as she struggled to compose herself.

Aurelian, however, held the bridge of his nose and sighed, his smile fading.

Titus, still grinning, proceeded to explain.

"This message was broadcasted on many planet throughout the kingdom. Unaware of our exact location, they recorded it and played it everywhere, hoping we would hear it. One of our agents in Tula managed to record it and pass it to me."

"Are they truly that foolish?"

Aurelian asked incredulously. He couldn't fathom that they believed he would fall into such an obvious trap.

"This is not the work of the military or their intelligence agencies. This trap aligns perfectly with Dulan's character. He thinks that with your father gone, you can be easily brought down, disregarding your previous achievements."

Titus explained.

Aurelian pondered the situation, considering their next move. Stella and Alexios shared a sense of anticipation, curious to hear Aurelian's plan.

"We will turn the tables. We'll transform this into our own trap. My guess is that they will attempt to ambush me while I'm in orbit or on a the planet itself. We will gather as much of our fleet as possible and ambush the ships they use to ensnare us, giving them a taste of their own medicine."

Aurelian declared, his determination shining through.

Titus and Alexios grew concerned upon hearing this plan. They voiced their worries, suggesting that someone impersonate Aurelian to ensure his safety.

"No. This is my plan, and I won't needlessly endanger the lives of my people."

Aurelian firmly responded, refusing to entertain the idea. Alexios and Titus wanted to argue further, but Stella intervened, halting the disagreement.

"That is the Imperator's decision, Titus, Alexios. Have faith in his plan."

Stella interjected, her gaze fixed on them with intensity. Reluctantly, they both nodded in acknowledgement.

"Imperator, at least explain your plan in detail."

Titus requested, deciding to follow Aurelian's plan.

Aurelian nodded and began outlining his strategy, saying,

"This is what we will do..."
