Chapter 84: Sharing the Truth

I walk outside and finally pick up the call from Diane, which I had been avoiding for a long time. She almost screams at me.
“What on earth is going on with you?! We are all so worried! What happened with your engagement party and with you all together! You haven’t been coming back!” She has the right to be losing control and yelling at me, because I have failed to keep her updated on that topic.
“Please Sienna, what is going on?” I hear now Elizabeth also express her worry.
Think Sienna, think. I have to respond and at the same time sound convincing. I need to show her that all is well but not well at the same time. I look at the twins sparring with Cassie and to my side I find Conwenna smiling at me, sitting and sipping a tea.
“Di and Eli, I apologize, and to be honest, I am not well. I haven’t been feeling so well the last couple of weeks but now we just heard from the doctor…” I trail off thinking about what to say.
“Oh gosh Sienna, what did the doctor say?”
