Kiba and Mimi continued to talk about other stuff like how they spent their winter vacation so far. After a bit more time passed with their small talk, Mimi checked the time on the watch she wore on her left wrist. It was almost already lunch time.

"Well, it is almost time for me to go home. I've used up all my free time. And loath me to admit it, but… I had fun. I am thankful for the invitation today."

Mimi looked away as her face blushed a bit.

"I should be the one to thank you for coming! Oh, and before I forget. This is the main reason I invited you here today. Here, please accept this."

Kiba took the purple paper bag with a red ribbon beside him and handed it to Mimi, who sat in front of him. She took it from him reluctantly and stared at it in her hands.

"Thank you for this… Wait, did you just say 'main' reason? What else is there—"

"D-don't mind that now! W-won't you check what's inside?"

Kiba forced a laugh after dodging the question.
