All of them lined up toward the shrine. The line was as expected a long one, so it took some time before it was their turn. Once they reached the shrine, they all offered coins and then performed the ritual of "two bows, two claps, prayer, one bow".
After they made their prayers, everyone from the Help club decided to get their fortunes told with what was called an 'Omikuji'. They came in the form of paper strips, where what one's luck for the year was indicated on the paper. Each of them got their pieces of paper and opened them all at the same time.
Kiba got one that indicated 'Great Luck'. He pumped his fist and snuck a glance toward Mimi. She didn't notice it immediately, but she still instinctively looked at Kiba. He then quickly averted his gaze and whistled quietly.
Sanaka and Mimi both got 'Good Luck'. Sanaka jumped up and down in place while she held Mimi's hand, Meanwhile, Mimi just faintly smiled at the overly joyous Sanaka.
