"Si Yehan I know you had your reasons but isn't Little Xia fine now? Why must you hold a grudge?"

Si Ming and Si Yehan were sitting across each other in Si Ming's study with a chess board on the table, each holding a chess piece and playing seriously.

Si Yehan stood up with one hand in his pants pocket, he walked towards the door then paused and said "I'll think about it" and with that, he left.

Si Ming smiled and leaned back on his chair "Well, that went well"

Si Yehan was seated, his fingers rhythmically tapping the desk.

A lady walked in, she was wearing a black suit, with matching pencil heels.

She had long curly hair that was draped over her shoulders. She walked towards Si Yehan, her every step sturdy and graceful.

"Sir, you called." She said

Si Yehan looked at her, faced with her mersmerizing beauty and womanly charm, he felt nothing and was expressionless.

"We're going to be signing the contract for the bridge project in B city with the Gu Group" He said then threw a contract document on the desk.

The Gu Group?

She frowned but took the document "If that's all sir then I'll be leaving." She bowed

"Wait" He called out.

"Is there anything else sir? " She asked tentavely

Si Yehan massaged his temples and sighed.

"Starlight is planning to invest in a movie by Director Lin correct?"

'So he stopped me for this' she sighed in relief and nodded "Yes, that's right sir. Director Lin's movies have always done well with the box office, investing in this movie is a great decision made by Yun Feng we would reap a lot of profit from this."

"How much do they plan to invest?"

"250million sir"

"I see, get Yun Feng to tell Director Lin that we're going to be raising the amount on the condition that Gu Shiyuan plays the role of the female lead."

'So it's still related to the Gu family, is this some kind of apology method?'

She took a deep breath to calm herself down "President Si, don't you think that's a little much, I mean the gap between 250million and 5billion is really big, we all know how well Director Lin's movies do in the box office but in my professional opinion this amount is really too much just for a movie. In the car, Song Linglong slouched on the car seat looking listless. She grabed her purse and took out her phone then placed a call.

"Yo, Linglong what's up?" A male voice came in through the receiver.

Song Linglong rolled her eyes. Doesn't this guy know how to talk to his superior?.

"Yun Feng, what do you know about the relationship between boss and the Third Miss Gu?"

At the other end,

A man with dark brown hair and black eyes was seated on a swivel chair, his long legs were propped up on the desk. He looked like he was in his late tenties or so.

He had a cross shaped ear stud on his left ear and a cheeky smile on his face.

He pushed his hair back showcasing his smooth forehead. He was the kind of playboy handsome.

"Well, it seems like both families have fallen out, the rumors say it happened on the night of Master Si's birthday banquet, of course not much was said as those who attended were not allowed to say a word to outsiders. As for Third Miss Gu, the rumors also said she's the cause of everything that happened. Anyways it could be false but there's no smoke without fire. Why'd you ask?"

"Boss has some changes about the investment plan." She tactfully diverted the topic.

Yun Feng sat up straight and asked carefully "What kind of change?"

"He wants to raise the investment funds on the condition that Gu Shiyuan plays the female lead role" She said bitterly

"Oh really? Guess this is sort of an apology method huh? Director Lin wouldn't mind since we are the only investors for this movie and he has worked with Third Miss Gu before so he knows her standards are up to par"

"Oh and by the way how much more?" He stroked his chin and pondered.

Maybe a few hundred million more? Sigh, boss is so generous.
