"Did he just hang up on me?" Song Linglong looked at her phone and frowned.

*Ring*ring*

"Hello? Linglong, sorry I fell off the chair, I thought I heard you say 5 billion" Yun Feng scratched his head awkwardly.

There's no way she could've possibly said 5billion right? I must've heard it wrong.

"That's right, I said 5 billion",

"W-what?!!"

Wait, it's Si Yehan we're talking about so this is probably nothing to him.

Yun Feng calmed himself down and regained his posture. "Well, aside from the initial shock, it doesn't really mean anything. I mean boss is pretty rich you know, so this amount means nothing to him."

"But don't you think it's a little much to spend on a woman?Isn't he just being muddle-headed?" Song Linglong's tone was filled with undisguised grievance.

Yun Feng chuckled "Linglong don't you think your little crush on Boss is uncalled for? You're a smart woman, you should know this one sided love of yours will never blossom into whatever delusional image you have in your mind."

"You..... I-I don't know what you're talking about" Song Linglong flushed red.

"Sure you don't, anyways boss isn't lacking women, if he wanted one, a line would probably form across the country so you should give up. Of course my arms are always wide open for you." Yun Feng smiled showing his canines.

"Whatever" Song Linglong rolled her eyes.

"Secretary Song we've arrived" the driver said

"Where are you?"

"Gu Group's headquarters" Song Linglong nodded at the driver and got out of the car.

"Gu Group's headquarters?" Yun Feng raised his brow.

"Boss is giving the B City's bridge project to the Gu Group"

"Oh..This is one expensive apology"

"Tell me about it, alright I'm going in don't forget to talk to Director Lin"

"Yes ma'am"

Song Linglong took a deep breath and walked in. She had informed someone earlier of her arrival so immediately she stepped in someone received her.

Although Song Linglong might just be a secretary, she isn't just any ordinary secretary she is Si Yehan's personal secretary so she held quite the authority in the business world, even CEO's had to be respectful in front of her.

"Secretary Song, welcome. Our President isn't around now but someone sent a message to him informing him about your arrival so he'll be arriving soon."

As they walked by several workers greeted Song Linglong respectfully.

They took the elevator and stopped at the top floor where Ding Wei lead her to Gu Jingze's office.

"Secretary Song please have a sit, President Gu will arrive shortly"

Song Linglong took a seat and looked at her watch "I don't think i'd be able to wait, anyways I can discuss it with you"

"But it won't take that long." Ding Wei frowned.

"I don't have that much patience, let's proceed." She took out the contract and placed it on the desk.

Isn't she being a bit too arrongant?. Ding Wei silently complained but still sat down abidingly.

He took the contract and started reading it.

"President Si has decided to give the bridge project in B City to the Gu Group, as you already know the competetion for this project was quite tense and after careful consideration our president has decided on the Gu Group. We hope you will do your absolute best to make this project a success. All you need to do is get Second Master Gu to sign and everything else will be taken care of by our side. If you have any qualms about the terms please inform us after carefully reading the contract"

"The B City brdge project?" Ding Wei asked with a shocked expression on his face.

Isn't this the same project countless companies are fighting for? and now it's being delievered right on our door step on a gold platter.

Wait! This doesn't make sense aren't the Gu family and Si family ar loggerheads with each other? so why?

He looked at Song Linglong carefully, could this be some sort of peace offering?

He shrugged, well whatever it's our luck.

"Any problem?" Somg Linglong asked.

"No, no problem at all." Ding Wei shook his head. There was an obvious smile on his face.

Song Linglong nodded and stood up "That's all for now, if there's any problem with the contract terms be sure to contact us, i'll be leaving"

"Sure, let me see you off"

Gu Jingze walked down the stairs in quick steps while putting on his coat.

Old Master Gu and Gu Yiming were both sitting in the living room when they saw the scene.

Old Master Gu frowned "Where are you going in such a hurry?"

Gu Jingze paused and looked at them "Grandfather, Father something came up at the office."

Old Master Gu's frown deepened. "What now?"

Things couldn't possibly get any worse right? Did that brat from the Si family take action again?

At the thought of this, his face darkened.

Gu Jingze saw his expression and instantly knew what he was thinking about.

"I got a call that Song Linglong is at the office"

Gu Yiming looked over "Song Linglong? Isn't that Si Yehan's personal secretary? What does she want?"

That brat does he really want to makes us his enemies?

"I don't know, she didn't say"

*Ring*Ring*

"It's Ding Wei" Gu Jingze looked at the caller ID then answered the call.

"Hello? President Gu?" Ding Wei's excited voice came in through the receiver.

"Ding Wei, what's wrong? Is Secretary Song there?" Gu Jingze asked

"Secretary Song just left"

"So why was she there?"

"Si Group is signing the contract for the B City bridge project with us, she dropped by to give us the contract."

"W-what did you say?" He asked in disbelief

"Boss didn't you hear me? I said the Si Group is signing the B City bridge project with us. Secretary Song already brought over the contract, you just need to sign and everything else will be taken care of by them."
