I woke up to find Payton gone and alone in my bed. I sat there and wondered if that was it. Did he get what he wanted, and it was over? I sighed.

I leaned over and grabbed a shirt off the floor and pulled it on. I got up as the door opened. I watched as Payton walk inside, carrying a cardboard container with two coffees. He closed the door and held up a key to me.

/"I borrowed your key,/" Payton said as he set it and the coffees down. I watched as he pulled the coffees from it and walked over to the bed. He handed me a coffee, and I took it.

I stood there as he drank his coffee.

/"Last night was,/" I said.

/"Amazing,/" Payton interrupted me.

/"So, you don’t regret it?/" I asked Payton, and he reached for me. I walked over as he took my hand, and I sat down on the bed next to him.
