Ready for Action

Alex took a deep breath as he heard all of this. It seemed that he had gotten himself another mission, that was to get stronger enough and find his mother.

“How much has the Talriz family of Sand City been influencing our family?” Alex finally shifted his attention to one of the reasons for his bad childhood.

Simon stared at Alex for a moment. He could already think what Alex was planning on doing next. But, he knew that he ought to do so. After all, Sandra had been using the Talriz’s influence to make sure that Alex’s life was as hard as it could get.

“Almost everything that’s done in the family now depends on how the Talriz would take it. If they don’t like it, then it won’t happen or the family would have to change the plans.”

“In other words, the family depends on your stepmother. If her mood is ruined, then the family is in danger of annihilation.”
