"Elder Simon, how did my mother die?" He asked after seeing that Simon was about to continue bantering about other things.

This made Simon's expression turn serious. Then, he turned his gaze to Alex. He looked into his eyes while maintaining his silence for over a minute. Then, he finally let out a sigh and said words that shocked Alex to the core.

"Your mother never died. She was taken away!"

Simon's words were like a drum that was being beaten closer to his heart. He couldn't believe what he was hearing. His mother was taken, she had never died.

His heart stopped beating for a few microseconds before it continued. This was something that was far beyond what he had expected when he was asking the question.

Although he was sure that there had to be something wrong after he heard that his mother was strong, stronger than him, he didn't expect that the truth was that she was taken away.
