"Now that I have time to cultivate might as well use this chance since I have to rest and have to continue the journey tomorrow." Clover then positions his body into the lotus form.
"Hmmm… Later stage, huh? I wonder if I can take the pain in tempering my viscera and my vital points of the body. In addition, after this stage, it would be the Peak stage – forming my meridian. As for now, I don't have complete knowledge about this aside from reading it in some novels. Furthermore, that novel genre was so boring to read since the plot was so repetitive and had so many young masters that I dropped reading it. Such a pity that I didn't study their system."
Clover picked up a thick, rusty obsolete-looking book lying beside him. His eyes then landed on the carcass before him – it was the black bear that he slayed not long before.
Gently putting the book on his legs, he studied the carcass with narrowed eyes. Although the moon decorated itself in the middle of them, the moonlight was blocked by the leaves of the tree. Clover's eyes had long been accustomed to the night in the jungle. Hence there was no reason why he needed to focus his vision to examine the corpse not long away from him.
However, there was something different in the carcass, and it was because Clover had not completely skinned its fur yet. He didn't know how to peel it, and it caused him to make a mess in the process, and the carcass body turned into something hard to recognize.
Although reluctantly, he made use of the sharp edges of the rapier sword to peel it; he still failed. Thankfully, the carcass was so enormous that it was only the portion he made a mess of, and he took advantage of it to learn how to make clothing fur.
Nevertheless, there seems to be a problem. He turned his head to the left, where the sword was lying on the trunk of a tree on whose branch he was sitting. The rapier seems upset because he was used as a cutting tool to cut something so disgusting.
The carcass's blood had long been dried and was absorbed by the rapier sword, but because it was used to peel its skin and it was so disgusting, which caused the rapier sword to feel dispirited and refuse to communicate with its master, it was at that moment that he realized the problem. He apologized, but the rapier sword didn't reply, so he had to put it down to calm him.
Nonetheless, Clover didn't plan to give up. How could he not? Whenever he cultivated, even though no beast was trying to take advantage of him, the fact that unintelligent ones, such as mosquitoes biting his skin, could interrupt his cultivation annoyed him to the slightest.
However now was not the time yet, since he had to cultivate before the dawn comes. He closed his eyes, and took a deep sniff, before breathing out the smelly breath.
However, he didn't mind it as it was natural for his breath to be smelly, since it has been ages since he had done tooth brushing.
His chest rise, while his stomach pressed inside, and after a breath time, his chest would fall while his stomach would expand. He continued this process until a wisp of light slithered towards his mouth whenever he inhaled.
However, just as he was about to finally enter the state of cultivation. An emotionless, cold voice interrupted him.
[Congratulations, host. The breathing technique is recorded in the technique attribute(1). You have finally grasped the true breathing technique, and this technique will evolve as long as you reach a certain rank in cultivating.]
As if deliberately, Clover couldn't help but narrowed his eyes, while muttering with an annoyed voice.
"System, didn't you say that you will not disturb me unless it was something urgent? Was that a joke?"
[Host, please understand my statements in my report, and you can know why I report this matter to you.
Furthermore, you were still not wholly captivated by the breathing technique since the wisp of light just started to clean the way before it would reach your viscera, so you still have time to listen to my report, and you can still ignore it. I aimed to remind you of the difference between pre and post of breathing techniques.]
God's Record clarified, and Clover couldn't have the time to argue with it. He instead closed his eyes and read the wall of text amidst the darkness.

At the same time. On the battlefield where Clover and the Abomination battle occurred. A man with a black cloak covered his body completely, while the hood gently lay to the south.
A big round moon exuded its moonlight shining on the back of the man, making the man's face manifest. The man's pupil narrowed while it radiated crimson-colored blood. His mouth turned upward, causing his teeth to be exposed.
However, a pair of teeth ups and downs was slightly higher than the average, as it was almost comparable to the canine teeth of the tiger, Clover previously battled.
Furthermore, his mouth was wiggling furiously, while his expression turned awful. His gaze landed on where the Abomination died, even though its body had long disintegrated into nothingness. But the fact that his gaze landed exactly where the corpse was, showed that the man's reason to be here was because of it.
"Who is it?!" He roared lightly, while his body shivered.
His hands spread into the Claw position, while his nails continued to expand and sharpen.
He then spread his forelimb downward while his body leaned forwards and roared at the top of his lungs.
"WHO STOLE MY FOOD?!"
