07: Let the competition begin part 1

The next morning, all of the villagers are gathered to hear who Riswan's challenger is. The council calls for the crowd's attention as he calls Riswan to step forward. He then calls Mable to step forward. When the villagers see that Mable is the challenger,they start to badmouth her and her family, "oh my word! I can't believe this girl challenged her father she is shameless her mother didn't raise her well"

Hearing these comments, Salma feels embarrassed. The council head tells Riswan and Mable the competition will start in the afternoon as they disassemble. The rest of the family leaves with Riswan while Tony stays behind with his sister. The kids take Tony to a certain man whom the kids call coach. He greets Tony and Mable introduces Tony to the man, "Tony, this is mine and Kel's coach,he helps me do most of my training and I have known him for three years now"

The coach by the name of Ray gives Mable some hints on how to win the competition. He serves everyone lunch after which they go back to the village square for the first round of the competition. The council head tells the competitors the first round will be a running competition, "alright everyone attention, the first round will be a running competition, the competitors will have to run for four rounds,with a distance from here to the river in the neighboring village,you run back and forth"

Ray calls to Mable, and tells her to take her time,"alright listen kid, don't rush just take your time don't forget to slow down when you reach a hill,don't breath through your mouth even when you are tired try to breath through your Nostrils and whenever you came back take some water... now go"

Riswan's friend asks him if he's ready, "listen my friend are you ready, are you sure you can beat Mable at this race?"

Riswan responds to his friend's question, "what do you think just shut up okay"

The council head announces,"in your marks...get set...go!"

Mable and Riswan start to run, Mable reaches the neighboring village before Riswan and comes back she does the same in the second round but Riswan catches up with her, as they are running back to the village Mable sprains her ankle and falls to the ground. Riswan sees what has happened, he slows down and stops running. When Mable sees what Riswan has done she stands up and tries to get him back in the game, "what's wrong Riswan are you scared. You better run because I will defeat you"

Riswan gets intimidated by these words and he starts to run, Mable gets back up and races with all her might until she reaches the village. An overconfident Riswan thinks he has won but unfortunately for him his daughter beat him at the race. Mable therefore wins the first round.
